Next Generation Auto Repair and Emissions

Going to the auto repair shop is kind of like going to the dentist for some people. What are they going to find and how much is it going to cost. It’s not always a pleasant experience. I came across Mike a few years ago and he has been working on my cars ever since. Mike is very professional and an extremely knowledgeable master mechanic that takes the time to tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. I would highly recommend his shop to anyone looking for a good experience and wanting to save some money compared to what the dealerships will charge you. I plan on taking my vehicles to Mike for years to come.

I recently had my truck at the dealership because the check engine light came on. Of course it was 3000 miles after my 100K warranty expired. They told me I needed a new NOx sensor and to replace the thermostats, among other things. I took it to Next Generation for a second opinion, because I had had them replace a fuel pump in a VW Touareg, and was happy with the work they did on it.
Mike (owner of Next Gen) suggested replacing the thermostats first because they were throwing off the truck’s computer. When the truck was re-​diagnosed, it turned to be a different sensor that was the problem. Definitely saved me some money.
Mike seems like a very intelligent, honest mechanic. I will be recommending him to my friends.
