I had an hour long layover in Phoenix and was looking for an early lunch. There weren’t many restaurants with vegetarian options around but I decided to try O+I. I was initially hesitant about getting an airport salad but I was happily surprised with the Mediterranean! The veggies were fresh and the toasted almonds added a great crunch. I’ll be recreating this one at home. The paninis also looked tasty but most included some kind of meat. All in all, worth a stop if you are in Terminal 4!

Good food just like their Scottsdale location. It’s quick-service — for lunch, they offered an assortment of paninis, pizza and salads. The line moved quickly(maybe too quickly, I forgot to order a drink and the girl behind the counter forgot to ask if I wanted one — nbd, I had water with me and was getting coffee before I flew out) and my panini came out to my table pretty fast as well. The roast beef panini was super filling and really good. Pizza also smelled and looked tempting. I also grabbed some snacks to go and everything was reasonably priced for the airport — the panini itself was under $ 10. If you need to plug in, there were power outlets at the bar that faces out into the airport. Location — in terminal 4 really close to security checkpoint A, in the A1-A14 hall.

This is pretty simple! Cute looking girls working there. = 1– * Food is really good, especially breakfast, = 1 — * Has a decent selection to choose from, = 1 — * Since the location is in a airport terminal, its going to be busy. However the line goes pretty fast, = 1 — * With the size of this place, they really try to have enough seats, = 1 — * Now the negative, price us to high. I can only imagine what their lease is. And they are going to take advantage of TSA taking away your 99¢ water, only to charge you about three dollars for the same bottle of water. Biggest scam around. = –2 — * Understand the reason for the prices, still doesn’t mean it’s right.

This place was quick and really tasty! We had a little over an hour during our layover in PHX and were looking for something small — the Breakfast Club was $ 7.95 but was very tasty! Egg, cheese, bacon, avocado, & mayo on an english muffin was pleasantly surprising(cant expect too much from fast food, right?) The cashier was also very efficient and friendly. They don’t have hot tea(only coffee, iced tea, smoothies) — but she said if I had my own tea bag she’d happily give me a cup of hot water for free!(good thing I took the extra from the hotel the day before!)

Not sure why this place got such mixed reviews. Restaurant décor was really nice. Out waitress was attentive but not over bearing. They had a good wine list. I ordered the sea bass which was pretty good. The best thing however was the free bread and pesto they served. The pesto was so yummy. Would definitely come back.

I stopped here for a quick breakfast on my way home, while I was at the Phoenix International Airport. It was a good choice. The breakfast sandwich I had was hot, fresh and quick to go. The cinnamon bun I indulged in was a good-bad life decision(good because it was tasty and fresh, bad because, well, it’s a big ol’ cinnamon bun that I really didn’t need, but impulse bought). If on the off chance I’m in the region again, I would stop in here for a bite again.

Pleasantly surprised! Had a breakfast club sandwich and it was very good. Actually GREAT for airport food! Hot, fresh, and tasty!

For an airport fast food restaurant this was quick fresh tasty and reasonably priced. Had a Turkey Panini which was very good. Toasted made it outstanding. The bread was fresh and the meat tender. Not a huge turkey fan but I would purchase this again. With water bill was less than $ 10.

You order at the counter, and they have a good amount of seating. I was planning to be healthy and just get a salad, but the squares of pizza sitting under the warming lamp called out to me. I ended up with a pine nut and chicken salad(mixed greens, Gorgonzola, lots of pulled roasted chicken, cherry tomatoes, and toasted pine nuts) and a piece of the Mediterranean pizza. The salad was fresh and had a good amount of chicken, and the pizza had lots of toppings and good flavor(they also warmed it up for me). As far as airport food goes, it wasn’t crazy expensive(around $ 18 for the above).

Unimpressed. Service was poor(except the girl who fixed my order). They put mayonnaise on my sandwich after I explicitly made it clear that I would follow her to the depths of the earth and make her pay if she even so much thought about putting the most disgusting ingredient known to mankind on my food. Thankfully server #2 fixed my order when she realized I was waiting for someone to fix my order after three workers completely dismissed me despite the fact that it’s not difficult to tell that I have a very impatient look on my face and I am trying to enjoy something on my ay to freaking St. Louis, MO. But even after they fixed my order, I had to shovel it down my throat in less chews than it takes John Goodman to eat Top Ramen(does that make any sense?) Either way, I should have stood by my own established rule: Airport bar = good Airport restaurant = booty. YOUPUTMAYOONMYSANDWICH! I SHOULDBEPERMITTED, BYLAW, TOCANEYOU.

Stopped by while scrambling to look at all the options for a quick cold sandwich. Saw this place had a pastrami sandwich and that went out the window. Accepted them to warm it up on the panini press. The guy I ordered from seemed more interested in going back to train his coworker than me, but I don’t need to be coddled so that’s fine. A young lady picked up where he left off and I told her I wanted a potato salad and let her know about the sandwich order. Add a water and it was 15.75. It’s the airport I knew I wasn’t getting off cheap. To the food. When they brought out the pastrami it felt warm, but they just warmed the bread the meat was still cold. Still tasted good. I’ve had Grocery store potato salad that tasted better. So for food and service it’s 2 stars but at an airport it’s 3.

What’s the most important piece for your decision at an airport on where to eat? Time. I give it a 4 because the line moves pretty quickly and the people were cordial. Food quality is pretty decent. Price is a little ridiculous, but hey all airports are. Bacon eggs toast and home style potatoes were $ 9. My iced coffee was another $ 2. They have a lot of choices for lunch for sandwiches, and they seem to make everything fresh. Plenty of seats.

I had a quick bite here when connecting through PHX. I got the oatmeal and a protein shake. Both were pretty good, but nothing to write home about. It came to $ 13 total which was reasonable for an airport, I suppose. Seating was a bit of an issue based on the time I went(~830am so breakfast peak). My friend and I managed to find some bar-stools and parked ourselves there, which worked out. I noted that the stools are pretty heavy to move! OK overall.

Terminal 4 of the airport. Popular bit quick. Order and go and wait for the food to be brought to you. Only been here twice but had a great experience both times. Yummy vittles for my tummy –if you have time, check them out!

Great service and very interested in making sure customers are satisfied. Grilled Cheese Sandwich was fantastic but big enough for 2. A good stopping off place to grab a snack before your flight.

On a recent early morning flight out of Sky Harbor, I ate breakfast at Olive & Ivy and picked up a salad for my long flight. I was not impressed with the breakfast options, but the salad was great. The bagel and cream cheese($ 3) was not tasty and definitely not worth the price! I wish I had picked up a muffin instead because those looked freshly baked, whereas the bagel was not. I was glad to have a fresh salad on my flight — much better than buying an expensive packaged meal from the airline! The Mediterranean Salad($ 7) was made with spring mix, cherry tomatoes, diced cucumbers, Israeli couscous, toasted almonds, feta cheese and oregano dressing. The salad was hearty and the person behind the counter confirmed the salad had been freshly chopped and made that morning. I’ll return to Olive & Ivy at Sky Harbor next time I need lunch before my flight and save the breakfast and brunch dining for the original restaurant location in Scottsdale.

A tiny oasis in Terminal 4, Gate A for you to separate from the contant stream of passengers rushing to their next flights. I have been to the downtown Scottsdale location, so I had high expectations. In terms of ambiance, they try to recreate the same lighting effects by using large edison bulbs which look hip and steampunkish to me. The food: I tried the panini. I stuck with something safe and easy to make. It was decent and the food arrived promptly. They have a flatscreen in the niche, but the ambient noise was such that it was hard to hear(assuming the volume was even on). I nice little location, with hard to mess up options.

On a connection flight to Honolulu, my girlfriend and I had a layover in the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Starving, we found Olive and Ivy and by our gate, and it looked promising with its long sprawling lines. Customers can order sandwiches, pastas, salads, and the like, freshly made. If you’re in a hurry(like we were), plenty of pre-made items exist and are accessible for those in line. We grabbed two things: *Turkey Grinder: Fresh tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, with a slick slab of provolone and the oregano was a nice touch. It’s something that I would totally get again. *Chicken Panini: Like the turkey grinder, it had quality ingredients, and the sandwich artists(lol) put generous amount of salami and fontina. The lettuce and tomato were fine. I would totally return to Olive & Ivy, if I were to visit the Phoenix airport again. It certainly beats airport food
