Paradise Lounge

This is a nice little neighborhood bar tucked in the corner of a strip mall. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is very well done. Beautiful bar, wood panels, televisions with sports games, everything you would expect.
There were several people in there but it wasn’t crowded. I suspect that this place can get very busy on weekends. This Monday night crowd seemed to be all regulars and people who were getting off of work nearby.
The bartender was very nice. He made a great drink and asked if I wanted a short or a tall. I am always a «short» guy when it comes to my cocktails so I really appreciated being asked.
We headed out to the nice covered patio in back. It’s a small patio, but nicely done for what they had to work with (remember this is a strip mall). It was clean, had heaters if we wanted them and a large television out there with the game on.
The bartender came out to see if we needed another round. Another nice touch for a neighborhood bar.
We stayed for two cocktails and then headed home. I will certainly come back here again.

I only go here once every six months… and the staff always remember what I drink. Who has that kind of memory?

If you’re familiar with drink prices in the Scottsdale /​PV area, you’ll be happy you found Paradise Lounge. Drinks are priced at where you’d expect them to be priced. They have a smoking patio and a couple dart boards as well a live music a few days a week.
The only small complaint I have is the lack of a food menu. They have small appetizers but if you want to watch the game with a nice sandwich or pizza, you need to bring it with you, which they actually allow/​encourage. Also the owner and staff are really great as well.
Oh, by the way, it’s a Chicago bar, just in case that’s not your thing.

This place is awesome~! It’s a mini «Cheers» where everyone knows your name~! Beers & Drinks are cheap~! If YOU SMOKE they have a quaint outside deck in back~! This place is the areas best kept secret~! EVERYONE is so fun and friendly~! A Definite WIN WIN~! ;)

This place is a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I love the «cheers» wooden bar and the back patio (if you smoke) They have super sweet bartenders, board games, cheap drinks, and White Castle burgers and cheese sticks. Which is all I crave when getting the drunchies. Awesome local bar.

This place was such a good find! It was my turn to choose something for date night and I was looking for an open mic night somewhere and landed on this place. We didn’t take part in the open mic night, but it was still fun to watch!
They have a lot of really great beer options available, and the best part about this place is their token system. They have a $ 15 minimum if you’re paying with a card and if you don’t reach that, you can pay for a few extra drinks and you’ll get some tokens that you can bring back and use for your drinks next time. Totally awesome. Their menu looks really good and unique too!
They also have a lot of games — darts, video golf, and tons of board games. This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It’s kind of behind the Baskin Robbins, to the left of the party store. Also, the staff is really awesome. We came back for open mic night a week later and they remembered us and our drink orders!
Definitely check this one out if you’re in the area. Oh and the open mic night is on Tuesdays in case you were wondering!

Won’t accept a vertical ID for some reason never been to a bar that didn’t. The bartender was nice enough but only 2 stars for a waste of time.

I absolutely love this place. The drinks are cheap and the environment is cozy. It’s a little hole in the wall bar so it might be a little tough to find. The staff is extremely friendly and remember us by name even though we only go maybe once a week. They have tons of board games to play which we found entertaining after a few drinks. I would totally recommend this place! !!

We go to the Paradise Lounge quite often. It’s very close to our home and it’s the perfect laid back place for us. Gotta love the touch tunes jukebox and darts! De De always mixes up the perfect potion to get our night going! Psssst… try the sweet tart! :-) Usually a pretty chill crowd. Saturdays they will typically have live music, never heard a bad performance here either! And if you get the munchies… you MUST order the cheese-​filled pretzel! Please! With mustard to dip! It’s wonderful. But really, the owners here are amazing people and their staff is the best! Thanks guys!

A great bar — super friendly — plus live music.

This dark dive has been around for a long time. I have many memories here. After my college graduation, instead of having a big party with lots of people, I chose to go here with my husband and day drink. :)
The bartenders are always very friendly and the drinks are usually very cheap but… I would ask about the price of certain pitchers of beer before purchasing one. Certain brands are shockingly pricey. Other than that great bar to just hang out and have some good times with friends.

This is the best neighborhood bar to cap your night off at. Cheap drinks, delightful staff, great «bar food,» and a good atmosphere. The regulars here definitely make everyone feel welcome.

Very nice and clean! Cool vibe and cheap drinks! You have got to try the beer spunge it’s delicious! They also have darts and do a Christmas in July to help charity every year! Is defiantly recommend it. They also have really nice drink specials everyday!

Great place to grab a drink after work with friends that isn’t corporate or pricey. Just laid back, friendly people.

Always a great place to stop in for a drink while shopping in the PV Mall area. No one stares at you when you walk in. Just walk in, sit down, and enjoy good service and drinks. If you are hungry, bring your own food or order delivery to the bar (they don’t mind). This is not a place for dinner and drinks… It’s also not a dive bar with regulars slumped over the bar that stare at you when you walk in.

Great little dive bar hidden in a strip mall across Cactus from the Paradise Valley Mall with a bit of a Chicago theme. Happy hour drinks are cheap ($ 2.25 for a pint of Coors Light) and they have a good selection of craft beers. Decorated in a sort of tropical theme they have a stack of board games near the end of the bar although I didn’t see anyone playing anything but electronic darts. Bartender and the patrons were really friendly. The smoking patio out back is surrounded by 3 walls, covered with a canopy and equipped with fans and a TV. Their bar top «menu» does not offer much for food, but they do allow patrons to order food in from the menus they keep handy. We didn’t stay for the live music but it appears they have it almost every night and they have specials on Sundays during football season. I am already planning on leaving my husband who hates shopping here while I’m at the mall and then joining him later. He! He! He!

My favorite neighborhood dive bar! Always a laid back atmosphere, super great prices on drinks, and friendly staff (Rob is awesome) They also have a juke box we always entertain ourselves with. They don’t have a big food menu so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re hungry. otherwise this place is awesome.

I love this little bar. We come here with friends to have cheap drinks, play board games and darts, and have a great time. The bartenders have always been kind and surprisingly understanding when I can’t decide between a Fat Tire or OJ and vanilla vodka. Plus, they don’t mind if you order in food, which is perfect when we’re in the mood for Jimmy John’s while playing giant Jenga.

Usually come here when I feel like getting away from my immediate hood. Laid back crowd and atmosphere, awesome outdoor patio and the drinks are reasonably priced. My girl Laura always takes care of me. Always a fun place to go (literally) tucked away from the P.V. Mall area.
