Phoenix Photo Lab

Didn’t do a high-​end project but what I did do was handled so professionally and perfectly I can’t imagine ever needing any other lab but this one, in Phoenix. Beautiful work on the wall, excellent clients you run into at the desk. Enjoyable experience; they make it they’re business to do it right.

If you are a professional. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Absolutely appalled by this place. I am a professional photographer and have my work published and displayed internationally and I was treated so poorly there by Mike. He talked down to me as if I was a new photographer! I had originally gone there for some prints and it felt as if he had it out for me. He color corrected my work without permission and then when I pointed out something he was doing in photoshop he asserted to me in a condescending way that he «has been doing this for over 20 years».
Furthermore, he had no idea what type of inks they had for printing and they also didn’t have the papers I wanted so I went somewhere else. THE BEST part of all of this is he actually called me today and asked if was going to be sending them files to print and I politely said that I would be using another lab because they had the inks and papers I needed for my exhibition. Instead of responding kindly he told me that I handled everything unprofessionally and then sarcastically thanked me for my business. I can’t believe that I experienced all of this. I won’t be surprised if this place goes out of business soon.

I spent weeks comparing printers both in the area and online and ultimately decided upon Phoenix Photo to print for my first photo exhibition — a whopping 48 pieces between my co-​conspirator and I. We were impressed with both the pricing and the variety of printing and mounting options that Phoenix Photo offered.
The staff was incredibly helpful (see: patient) considering I’ve never done any sort of printing before. The quality of our prints, and the museum mounts, is top-​notch. As a large-​format photographer and general control-​freak, I really was very impressed by both the service here and the final output. I’d certainly recommend them to my peers in the photo community.

Phoenix photo lab… I am so glad we found you. The quality of our prints and mounting has been amazing. So easy to work with, prompt, and professional. Had a issue with resolution on one of our projects and not only did they alert us, but also troubleshooted with us for over an hour to fix it. Hosting large exhibit for 1000 people and am so proud to show off the displays. You have a repeat customer for sure!

They make enlargements and prints and offer a selection of framing… Great customer service!

I first contacted Phoenix Photo Lab around the beginning of the new year to have some wedding photos printed. Deter, the manager told me they were still playing catch up from Christmas and that he should be able to work with me in about two weeks. So I went in two weeks later and started the process to getting my photos printed. I needed a big 16×24 print, and almost 40, 8×10s. I also needed 2, 11×14s (I believe that was the size.).I told them I would need the photos no later than Feb. 16^th, since I was traveling home and wanted to give them to my family as gifts. No problem I was told.
I went to pic my photos up on Feb 10^th since they were all ready. The big 16×24 print had some type of substance spilled on it, leaving a few crusty white spots on the bottom of the photo… and 7 of the 8×10s had streaks on the photos… I wondered to myself if anyone had checked these photos before they were deemed «ready for pickup»…
Deter told me he could fix these before I went out of town. I told him I would be back on the 16^th.
When I returned on the 16^th I just knew my photos would be without flaw… Since this is now my third trip to this store… Two of the photos still had streaks on them! Im now frustrated beyond belief and have lost faith in this company… Is anyone actually looking at these photos when they’re printed?!
I told Deter I needed my photos now and couldn’t wait any longer, as I was leaving to go out of town the next day… I asked if he could fix them now, and he said he could only fix one of them right then and there… He said he could mail the other one the next day to where I needed him to send it. Frustrated and tired of dealing with them I said fine. Thankfully the photo arrived on time.
Everyone was nice enough, but I probably won’t do business with them anymore. At their prices it shouldn’t take 3 tries to get it right.

Outstanding customer service… when my urgently needed photos were lost in the mail, Deiter printed and personally delivered my photos to me just in time, truly going above and beyond expectations. Thanks PPL! I will always use you for my professional print jobs.

They will sit and have all the patience in the world for ya while going threw all the details needed in your orders. Prints came out nice.

These folks are top-​notch. I had one of my images printed here and then framed, and they did a wonderful job. Alice, the framer, is a real pro and spent a lot of time with me making sure everything was right, and the final product was spectacular. I’m very happy with their work and I’ll be back.

These guys are really amazing and I would give them my highest recommendation for any of your photo needs! I have been working with them on a project to scan and digitize all of our family photos… approximately 4,000 photos. They are the only company I will go to for all of my photo needs. I would highly recommend them for the quality of their work and as an added bonus they are really great to work with! 5 stars all the way around!!!

Phoenix Photo Lab is the most professional place to get your digital files printed. Excellent customer service with efficient turnaround time. Paul who owns the place and Dieter who helps manage the shop are friendly and take the the time to understand the print project. They gave my prints individual attention. They are perfectionists. You will not find a more well priced service for the quality of work.

Fabulous experience, my photos turned out perfect. The quality was amazing. I’ll be returning for all my future printing needs.
