Yep. This place is awesome. The set up… and their coffee bar. They definitely know how to cater to their clients. It has taken me forever to find a place to stay and this is it! I wish I could get my hair done weekly! Grace is so wonderful and the cut was on point! I have an appointment tomorrow. So excited…

I went in today for the first time and had an appointment with Michelle. She was INCREDIBLE. About thirty minutes into my hair coloring, I suddenly became so sick. I had a medical procedure yesterday and was having a reaction, and began shaking and doubling over from my abdominal pain. Michelle was so kind, she immediately offered to wash the color out, and had me call someone to pick me up. No one lives near Scottsdale, so it was over thirty minutes before my dad came to get me, and she sat with me the whole time and got me water and helped calm me down. She even offered to drive me home if I lived closer, and kept encouraging me to go to the emergency room next door. What a sweetheart. I felt so bad, this was our first time meeting and I was so out of it. She ended up not charging me at all, even though she spent an hour and a half doing my hair and sitting with me, and the original appointment was hours that she missed out on. I will be tipping her so much extra next time, to make up for it! Haha. She was so great, and obviously very skilled. I love this salon, and I love Michelle!

From the outside, this looks like an average salon with like six chairs, it’s definitely not! It’s huge inside!
I tried this place for the first time on Thursday. My hair just wasn’t cooperating because of my dead ends and I kind of got screwed on my last dye job. I wound up with really chunky highlights and like half red hair in the back. I wanted a trim and a bayalage and my trim was done by Angie, who was a straight shooter and said up front that wasn’t her specialty, which I totally appreciated.
She recommended I meet Michelle, who is known in the salons for doing bayalage and sombre and I did! I booked my appointment with her and came in hoping she could fix my poor hair… The results were amazing!
Michelle was a trooper. I have long and thick hair that’s a dirty ash blonde naturally. She painstakingly painted my hair for four hours and toned it to perfection! If you want your hair to look great! Come here and see Michelle. Her prices are great. I’ve paid well over $ 250 and $ 300 for a bayalage and I was charged I think $ 167 for something that will last me all year!
Also the front desk is super sweet, I believe Kelsey helped me and got me a tea and fit me in last minute! So thank you!

I made a last minute difficult request, about a week ago. I wanted to go from my natural dark brown, long, hair to a shorter, much lighter style. I book an appointment for the next day with Lisa Huskisson. She is a Master Hair Stylist, on the Prova ranking system. I showed her a photo of the color I wanted, and like a walk in the park she transformed my hair EXACTLY the was I wanted. It’s stunning, I get compliments on it daily, and somehow remained healthy. She’s a goddess to me now! The customer service with her, and throughout the entire salon is amazing. Coffee, nice/​social environment, and good lighting.

Bahia is amazing and I completely trust her! She does wonders with color… all colors!
And cuts… she does amazing work!

Before saying anything, I’ll just note my the only real work I’ve had done to my hair was at my aunts salon in the early 80s, old fashioned barber shops, and this place. I’ve always taken care of my own hair cuts outside of that.
This place is great. I went because of location, but was impressed. Easy scheduling, and when I was there everything went smooth and professional. Lisa at the place took care of me with no stress at all. I got my hair colored and trimmed.

I have been coming here for about a year. I see Susan and Angie depending on who’s available at the time. Both do a great job. They are relatively quick, listen well and are patient. I am not the easiest to deal with at times but they always have me leaving happy and confident. I highly recommend this place.

Prova continues to be my go to place for haircuts. They’ve always worked with me to get a last minute cut or to reschedule an appointment if needed. I go to Crystal who always offers great advice and is a consummate professional. She also has the cutest dog in Phoenix!

Not only do I love this place in general, but it is the ONLY place that I go to for waxing and Kelly is the only person I let touch my eyebrows because she does such an amazing job. She started waxing me 9 years ago and I’m still a satisfied happy customer. That says a lot! Love her!
Everyone here is so nice and friendly and the hair stylists also do an amazing job! My mother has also been getting her nails done by Gayle for years and she is really great too! Definitely check this place out!

This place is seriously a gem. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for the last few years and I will not go anywhere else. Bahia is the stylist who always sculpts my hair perfectly. I currently live in the east valley but gladly make the 30 minute drive to the scottsdale area for a hair cut. I often make the trip in the middle of work so it’s very important to me that I leave the salon looking and feeling clean and here I truly get the full treatment, my hair is washed before and after the cut and I leave with my hair fully styled. I wouldn’t recommend any other place. You usually have to schedule an appointment but on occasion she has availabilities for walk ins, just ask for Bahia. :)

I was referred to Crystal by a friend of mine who had been going to her for two years at the time. It’s now almost 3 years later and we’re both still loyal clients. She is always punctual and my haircut is always perfect. A little over a year ago I had to relocate to Tucson for work, but I still drive up once a month to get my haircut with Crystal. I refuse to go to anyone else. She’s the best and everyone at Prova is fantastic.

This place has so much to offer, great spot for a guys’ haircut! Anissa is a next level sculptor! Thank you Prova!

Went to the website saw $ 20 – 30 for a mens cut, then was charged $ 35. Asked for a young, hip hairstylist and got an older lady… I purposely asked for only a ¼ inch to be cut off my hair so I could go to a different place soon…

Great place for all ur salon needs… I’ve been coming here to see Crystal for over 6 years. She’s absolutely great. Never late. Give Crystal a call…

Prova Salon is so unexpected by the outside. Inside it’s super sleek, has a big city vibe, and is full of energy. I’ve been having Angie Armstrong who is a stylist there cut my hair for the last 6 months and she does a fantastic job. I like to get creative with my hair and she’s always willing to help me reach the perfect compromise for what’s trendy without being too over the top. And her head massages rock! Another plus is that while the salon is located in a shopping plaza, there are so many things around. I can hit up Starbuck’s, grab lunch, grocery shop, and pop in to PetSmart, all in one easy swoop. I always look forward to visiting Prova & Angie. Check it out for yourself! Tell her I sent you ;)

This is a place that truly deserves more than 5 stars. Everyone at this salon is amazing. My daughter and I both got color and highlights and I got a Brazillian Blowout. The end results were amazing but the entire day/​process was great! The staff is amazing! I have never seen a salon (or anywhere for that matter) where everyone worked together and helped each other and just made all of the customers feel special.
My stylist, Diane K., is unbelievably talented and creative, the color/​highlights in my hair are gorgeous! I went in a frizzy mess with a picture from Pinterest of hair I liked and walked out feeling like a movie star.
Isn’t that why we go to salons?
Every bride and teen going to prom that night walked out of that salon looking so beautiful!
I cannot say enough of what a great place this is, I highly recommend Prova Salon.

I went to Prova based on the reviews that I read… BIGG disappointment. Every time she had an opportunity to knock me in the head she did~ while drying my hair in the towel, putting a styling product in my hair. seriously EVERY time. Then she charged me more than what she had quoted on the phone. Despite the fact that I explained the color of my hair was the absolute lightest it should go she made it blonder! Again, a BIGG disappointment and I won’t even tell you about the poor quality of the cut of my hair except that I’ve been trimming it myself since… Maybe the salon as a whole is quality but not this contractor!

Thanks Unilocal!After moving to Phx and being misled by one Unilocal review for another salon I persevered and changed my search terms and viola! found Sarah Biggs at Prova. Add me as another satisfied client. I have a short cut that needs precision and she did a wonderful job.
I give 5 stars to Sarah, but only 4 to the salon because the girls at the front desk seemed very timid, I got a weird vibe like they weren’t allowed to talk to the stylists.

Salon is big, open and well lit. Doesn’t have that salon product smell you find at a lot of places and everyone is nice and welcoming. Thanks for the awesome new look Meredith! I’ll definitely be back.

Went to get a haircut from Sarah H at Prova Salon after buying a coupon from Buywithme. Sarah did a great job on my cut; she is very professional, laid back and easy to talk to. I loved the way she styled my hair after the cut. With most of my haircuts I hate the way they style it (my hair is thick and a PAIN to style with just a blow-​dryer), but the way she styled it looked great!
I’ve been trying to find a great hair stylist since my last stylist moved and will definitely be going back to see Sarah from now on!
