Shiny Nails

Went on my lunch and they got me in and out. Looked clean… my feet feel smooth and look very pretty. I’m satisfied.

Worst ever in all my years, please don’t waist your money. They charged me $ 40 for a gel refill. The lady becky messed up on every single nail, does not know how to do coffin shape at all, and they charged me 18 $, to change the shape I already had when I walked in the door, none of my nails are the same size, she filled my nail down way too short and was very unexperienced.

So i really thought this place would turn into my favorite nail place. Wrong!!! They closed an early, i tried to make an appointment but all they seemed to say was «we be on lunch at that time», your gonna be on lunch every hour of the day? Forget it! Go somewhere else!

Love this little place. I have been a customer for over 3 years and I have gone to every nail tech there. Everyone is pleasant and does a great job. Prices are reasonable. They
do prefer you pay in cash but they take cc and debt cards.

I have a mild case of OCD always have pictures of how I want my nails. thin, long, sharp or whatever I want done and yesterday oct. 11, 2015 Sunday i went in and i said i wanted a full set but i need someone who is very precise. He said, we only take appointment on Sunday. I went in today, Monday… He said i don’t think we can do you nail you too picky. What jobs of business ethic is that? I’m too picky? Who says that to a customer??? Would give them negative stars if i could.

Leon is phenomenal. He’s very fast and pays attention to detail. My new go to nail guy. The salon is always busy but I normally don’t wait as long as I call ahead

I have been coming here for over 6yrs. I feel like family when I to get my pedicures and nails done. I only let Mama do my eye brows. I recommend all of family and friends to this place.

Deserves 0 star I don’t usually go to this place cause i m from Las Vegas but this is the worst place i been in all my life first time and last one, the old lady nd the agly man they had a bad attitude with me just cause i suggested her make one of my nails look square nd she did it so hard til burn my finger on purpose she doesn’t know how to talks she is not easygoing person and they all insulted me cause they’re family nd the old lady was so creepy almost pushing me out, also the place looks so old nd nasty they don’t even have any paper on top of the dirty bed where they do eyebrows this room smells so bad, sink area is so dirty they should clean this place i don’t recommend this place won’t come back never again, I swear i had a bad time, was a nightmare!

I will definitely come back here! I am in nursing school down the road, and I felt pretty crummy after taking a difficult exam. I decided to get a manicure since I was feeling bad for myself (pathetic, I know). So, I decided to look for a place on Unilocal and came across shiny nails. The other reviews are pretty accurate. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and they do a great job! Their prices are unbeatable, so that’s obviously a huge plus.
Initially, I was just looking for a nail salon near my school to treat myself, when I was having a bad day. However, I’m most likely going to become a regular!

They are super nice, didn’t harass or try to up sale me on anything. Pedicure was amazing and I must say much needed. My gal did a fabulous job and I am extremely happy. Will go back for sure!

I love this place so much. The prices are amazing and you get quality work for the price!
In all honesty this is the only place in phoenix I’ll come to get my eyebrows waxed. The older lady that works there always does my eyebrows for me and she does an amazing job each time. She knows how to arch them just right and actually trims my eyebrows as well so they look neat and up-​kept. I’ve had my eyebrows waxed in other places in phoenix but it’s just not the same. I’m willing to make the twenty minute drive even to get my eyebrows done here just because no where else does it for me.
I’ve also gotten my nails done at this place. Never had anything wrong with the nails, and they always look great.
Always will come here to have my beauty needs fulfilled!

Awesome $ 16 pedicure!!! Doesn’t get much better than that!

Great little place for a manicure or pedicure. Manicure is $ 10 and Pedicure is $ 16. The place is very clean. There are plenty of people working, so there is rarely a wait. My pedicures are always good. It is the same no matter who is my technician. I appreciate not having to wait for favorite techs because they are all good.
The techs speak almost exclusively English. I only mention this because I read a lot of complaints in other reviews for other places about people who think the nail techs are talking about them because they are speaking Vietnamese. I never have believed that, but some people do. In this place, they speak mostly English, even when it is not necessary. That might make some people more comfortable.
I like this place a lot. I find myself wanting to go back for a mani or pedi earlier than needed because they do such a nice job.

I was not particularly thrilled with this place. In the end, my nails looked fine but the environment was dirty. Especially around the sink area. Another thing that struck me as odd was when the lady that was doing my nails asked if I wanted to pay, (in the middle of everything.) So with one half polished hand, I reached around to find my wallet. I’m not sure if they get a lot of people that come in and suddenly can’t pay or what, but even paying upfront wouldn’t be as weird as stopping mid-​service. I don’t know. Maybe it was just an off day for her.

A good place to get a pedicure, $ 16! They play one tv w/​Netflix and a smaller tv w/​local channels. The chairs are a bit run done & its a bit narrow. But the people there are ALWAYS nice and speak English… w/​the exception of 1 or 2, the older ones.

What a nice little place for a pedicure! I haven’t had one in ages, but saw a review of this place elsewhere and thought I’d give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised with the service, cleanliness and technicians. Very reasonable price for a refloxology pedicure. only $ 21 !!
