Similar to an earlier review, but even weirder. I have an unusual and difficult pool, I totally recognize. It has a tipu tree arching over it that sheds or blossoms on it for a total of about 4 months out of the year, creating an ongoing foliage problem. I know how to manage a pool, having worked in the business professionally myself, but I’m gone out of state or country for a good part of the year, so I need professional help. The technicians are exceptional; both of the guys are solid, dedicated, and finish a job they start, keeping me updated all the time. I’m willing to pay and pay well for my pool’s upkeep. I think I’m a dream customer. The problem has been Janeen, the gatekeeper. She gets angry and berates me for not taking care of my pool(I clean everything I can every time I’m home, though she oddly tells me I don’t). Not offering service solutions(which I’d be happy to pay for), but blaming me for being a bad pool owner. Accusing me of lying and mistreating her technicians. Hanging up on me and firing me as a customer, then taking me back when either I or my wife finally gets back through to her. It’s like a bad date that never ends. They could make a fortune on me by just offering solutions that I’d be happy to pay for. I’m already steeling for the response from her that I suspect is coming. But from a customer’s perspective, this is – if anything – a generous review. Five stars for the technicians; zero for the slog through Dramaville it takes to get to them.

I’ve been using this company for a year now. I have been pleased. The pool guy assigned to my house goes above and beyond with great customer service and my pool is always clear. He knows I like high chlorine in the summer and keeps it that way. I haven’t had to deal with the office too much. I pay with bill pay and never had a problem with the financial part. They also installed a new filter when we moved in to this house and it works like a champ! Overall, I know I can count on them consistently to be honest about what needs to be done and to show up like clockwork.

I started service for one of my rentals with this company and pretty much from the first month the«office manager» messed up the balance on my account. About a month ago I get a call saying that someone else’s check had posted to my account for $ 40 so my bill will be $ 40 more or something like that. I get a bill for 59.95 with a credit of 40(though I had paid 59.95 last month). I call and get same hoarse voiced woman on the phone who then realizes that I actually owe even more money than the number on my bill because she had messed up the«buy with me» credit from the very first month. No apology about the confusion on my bills, no compromise to work with me since she’s the one that made both the mistakes in the first place, AND she said something to the effect of I’m on crack? I ended up hanging up the phone with her in hopes to get in touch with a more professional employee. I sent them an «email» via the website asking anyone besides the«office manager» to please contact me regarding my existing account. SHE calls me saying she didn’t want me to think they were ignoring me, and that she gets the emails. She offers to credit me the 19.95(??? doesn’t even make sense), and forget about the free month I got by mistake. Since it’d be a pain to look for another service and I had plans, I accepted. Although I was unhappy that she wouldn’t let me explain why I paid 404 months ago, I continued service. A few weeks later I received an invoice for the next month with a 19.95 credit on it with the reason«credit customer very rude» on it. I closed my account with them.

Was disappointed. This company said they would only do an acid wash, which during the summer was not possible because of the heat. It can damage the pool finish. They said to try another company. Spoke to another company and just by using chemicals, vacuuming and back-washing — I can bring back the pool from its dark green state. Guess Splish Splash only wants to take on the easy job and the quick buck.
