The Park at Deer Valley

So far I have absolutely no complaints. The only thing that could us improvement is maybe some more attractive landscaping and a facelift on the outside of our buildings. The orange paint on my building is hideous! My stay here has been great so far, nobody bothers me and the price is right!!!

The reason I am only giving three stars is:
1.) the safety lighting in parking area has been out for nearly 2 months.
2.) I have scratches on my car where someone tried to jimmy lock open. I blame the lack of adequate lighting.
3.) New pit bulls continue to move into complex despite them being a forbidden breed.
4.) Residents with dogs need to be penalized harder for not picking up dog waste.
The reason they get the three stars:
1.) the staff is kind and compassionate.
2.) The remodel of the common areas is stunning and well done.
3.) The new owner rid the complex of most bad elements and made it a safer place to live.

Just started renting here about two months ago, the first month I was here they messed up the tub so me and my pregnant fiancée had to be out of the house for 8 hours. No apology or anything was offered. Went into the office because I had 800 dollars worth of doctors bills and had to get a reliable car because my daughter is on the way, so I’m late with rent and I have 360 of the 793 my rent is with utilities and Eric (manager) comes out of his office and says with a nasty attitude well not our problem you can’t pay rent on time, it indeed is not. I then asked them for the price to end my contract and they gave me numbers as asked.
To whom it may concern,
I was starting my life here with my fiancée who is pregnant, we are expecting a baby girl. My fiancée and I were planning on making this a permanent residence for our family for the years to come but the absolute disregard for any type of human decency has led me to end my lease or keep it for just a year. I understand their is policy’s and procedures In place for a reason but their is a way to handle those situations with better word choice and attitude. If your expecting nothing unsuspectingly to happen or come up in your life then the park is the place for you!
