Tomcat Threads is my first encounter with a retail (strictly) clothing store with queer sensibility. They offer tops, bottom, accessories, and novelty items with a skater/​punk type style. Think Urban Outfitters, but more explicitly queer. T-​shirts, polos, sweatshirts, blazers, cool belts and buckles…
My shopping experience was great as the gals that work there, Robin and Anna (I hope I got that right), are both friendly and helpful. While the styles are nothing particularly new, all of the items are unique and many I haven’t seen anywhere else. I have three belt buckles from here that I haven’t found even on the internet. One is a sugar skull belt buckle that I’ve recieved numerous compliments on.
So if you want to add some exclusivity or gay-​ness to your wardrobe, definitely check this place out!
P. S. I think their prime market is cute punk/​ska lesbians, but a lot of the stuff works for both genders. Hopefully they’ll carry some other boys stuff (i.e. underwear and such).
