They have become more sanitary. Everything is separated into its own little container or package. From the tools they use to the sugar and mask for your feet. The spa chairs have liners and you get to choose from 3 different pedicures!

YUK~Never quoted me a price, never showed me a menu, never spoke to me. Waay over priced for gel nails & toes. Dirty inside. While sanding the polish off my toes the woman cut me twice. No thank you.

I was desperate on a Sunday to get a gel mani before traveling early Monday morning. Searched for nail salons around my home open on Sunday. Found this and was a little hesitant when I saw the photos of the exterior. But…I called to schedule an appt. Well, they DON’T take appointments according to the man who answered. Ok…will still try. Went there at 120 and they were packed. He said it would be 40 minutes. I came back in 25 and waited about 15 minutes. Small hole in the wall. Signs everywhere saying $ 2 charge for credit or debit card use. $ 15 if you break a Polish. Watch your kids and they can’t sit in your lap whole you’re getting a mani or pedi. Pretty sure the owner took off my gel nails and she did great really quick. Then she passed me to another younger girl who did the Polish and design. Broken English, upsells everyone like it’s their business and it’s totally not glamorous. Not even nice. So why the 4 stars? My nails look fab and it was quick once they got started. I appreciate a business that puts up all the rules on their walls lol. $ 34 for gel nails with a design. Of course I had to pay the $ 2 for credit card use and $ 7 dollar tip which they were very thankful for. 1.5 miles from my house and open sundays. I will take it!

They used to be really good and the price made it better, but lately not so much. Last Pedi lasted 2 days. Thankfully I found a new place.

OMG Kevin is a Sweet heart, he speaks English and pays attention to detail. They have great prices and not to mention sanitation. I’m a cosmetologist and that’s something that’s means a lot. They give you your file for nails, and pedi and also the pumice stone, and use a plastic bag for the pedi tub. I will defiantly be coming back on a regular.

Love my nails! Begged Tina for the 3D flower and she made it look amazing. Kevin did a wonderful job on my coffin nails and I love the great choice of colors for gel! The design was worth the price and I’m still loving it! 55 dollars for all of it. Gel coffin nails :30 $ and design: 25 $ and bring cash! They have a two dollar charge for any cards. They are just like waiters to me so I tip very generously. I love this salon.

Came here because not a lot of nail salons apparently have good reviews. I strictly come for pedicures but has a good experience. Taking off one star because my total was $ 23($ 18 for the pedicure and $ 5 for the extra long leg massage). I wanted to leave a $ 5 tip and the owner only gave me the option to leave $ 2($ 25) or $ 30($ 7 tip). I didn’t want to short change the lady but that left an otherwise good experience with a bitter taste in my mouth. I’m certain he could type in any amount he wanted into his machine. Not cool.

Clean local place to have your feet and hands pampered. They include a 10 minute massage with the Deluxe and it is worth it!

Last night I went In to get myself and daughter’s eyebrows waxed only waited a few minutes. The room was very dim so I couldn’t see the mess she did till I got home. Two different shapes and two different thickness on mine. And one of my daughters eyebrow had an arch and the other didn’t. I am very disappointed in the service! I’m not sure if Ann still owns this nail salon but it doesn’t look like it’s been upkept I will not be returning.

i love this place. I have been getting my nails done with them since I was 15 and now am 27. That just tells you something. Kevin is the best for nails and Lisa the best for pedi. I live in Avondale but drive to them because of good they are. Loyal customer!!!

Cheap and right down the street, but they don’t take appointments. Ann is great for eyelashes though, the best in central Phoenix.

Rude as hell. The woman misquoted me, then tried to overcharge me and said«$ 7 dollars more because you owe me tip.» Go somewhere else.

Told it was a 40 min wait. Waited 1 hour to never get service. Huge waste of time. They serviced my 2 friends but not me, despite us asking to be serviced at the same time so we could talk, which they said they would do if we waited the 40 minutes. And wth is up with the crude zombie movie on the TV? Aren’t people trying to come here to relax?

I have come here a couple times, and both times, I left satisfied with my gel manicure. I seem to have bad luck with gel manis at other places, and have only found 2 other places in the valley that, guaranteed, give me a 3-week lasting gel manicure. Unfortunately, they are on the other side of town. I was impressed when my gel mani from here only began chipping after 2 weeks. There are some minor things I have noticed. Both times I have gotten a gel mani here, I’ve left and noticed a little hair or piece of fuzz embedded into the gel. Not totally noticeable aesthetically, but annoying for my perfectionist self. Also, the language barrier is more significant than other salons I’ve been to. I have needed help clarifying the list of services and ended up giving up on my question. I have also noticed that they don’t do «exactly» what you ask. For example, I asked for a particular design with certain colors, and they had a few modifications they had to make, although I’ve had the same thing done elsewhere. My friend asked for a simple french manicure, and they said they wouldn’t do it in regular polish because it chips quickly. It’s nice that they mentioned that, but still, that is what she wanted. All in all, I think it’s a great, moderately priced salon. I will make this my new go-to, as I live so close!

I’ve been to Top Design several times now, and have never been impressed. For the number of staff they have on hand, there is no reason for the unbelievably long waits their customers have to face. I’m not a diva with my time – far from it, actually(I bring books, etc.), but these waits are nightmarishly long. Even worse, they’ll sit you down and then appear to completely forget about you. I’ve sat with acetone on my nails for 30 – 45 minutes without so much as a blink in my direction on a relatively calm Sunday.(For comparison, salons like Tips & Toes in south Scottsdale and Marvel in Tempe – my two favorites – leave it on for less than 2 – 3 minutes.) Prices are quite high for the service, my gel manicure was messy and left pieces of fuzz and hair in the layers(eep!), and their gel removal process is more harmful for nails than other salons I’ve visited. They also leave your nails under the UV light for much longer than is proven in past studies to be safe – the exposure they use has been linked with melanoma in randomized samples. They also don’t have a great selection of colors or types of polish – gel or otherwise.

Walked in here on a Monday afternoon, picked my color, started my pedi. Perfect. The lady literally did not say anything to me the entire time! There were 3 employees on their phones in the pedi chairs and at the nail booths. 1 employee was seriously sleeping in a pedi chair!!! WTF? I have never been in a less friendly, less professional nail salon. Also, $ 2 fee for credit or debit and she straight up asked me for a tip. It’s a good thing my toes look great!
