I bought a groupon for $ 39 for one microdermabrasion treatment and mini facial that was supposed to be for 60 minutes. The bright overhead fluorescent light was not very relaxing. The total amount of time there was only about 40 minutes and that was after upgrading for $ 38 for a specialty facial. Not very impressive treatment and no ambiance. She seemed to be mostly concerned with selling and making sure she got a tip!

I am very surprised by the negative reviews and am glad that I didn’t let them influence my decision to buy the dealfind for a year of dermabrasion. It’s a great deal and I like Erica so much that I’ve also purchased a monthly membership to her day spa and am having my son see her as well. Yes, calls are sometimes not returned promptly. But Erica is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. She takes a LOT of time with you and really educates you about your skin and skincare products. Her prices are very reasonable and she does an excellent job. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my skin(after two treatments). I don’t know why one reviewer referred to her store as «ghetto.» It is small, but very comfortable and attractively furnished and spotless. The writing on the window doesn’t bother me. Yes, it’s in a strip mall, but isn’t most everything these days? I really hope my review doesn’t get filtered as have all the other positive reviews. I am an avowed Unilocaler, consulting it for everything, but I have to say that the fact that all the positive reviews have been filtered does shake my confidence in Unilocal.Erica does not deserve the bad rap!

I had a similar experience as the other person who wrote a review. Tried contacting Erika Rodarte of Tranquil INfusion several times for an appointment after purchasing the KGB Deal. We finally made the appointment. Address on the voucher was incorrect. Erika — owner of Tranquil INfusion(?) didn’t even notice that!!! Showed up for my appointment only to find that she had written it down incorrectly. She had scheduled 3(yes –three!!!) people all at once! Told me I would have to wait for over an hour — after I had driven around for 45 minutes looking for her place(due to the incorrect address on the KGB voucher) She does not return phone calls apparently as I had tried multiple times to contact her trying to find out where her business was. I angrily left her«spa» after I was told that I would have to wait over an hour for my scheduled appointment. I had taken the entire morning off work and the microdermabrasion was for a special occasion. She called me and wanted to reschedule. I tried calling her several times leaving about 5 messages that she apparently didn’t get. She didn’t bother to apologize for wasting my entire morning off work, and was not at all flexible in re-scheduling due to HER mistake– not mine. She would not work prior to 10AM. Must be nice. It seems like, if you have a business… you should 1. have a phone that works 2. check your messages 3. return your phone calls 4. apologize when you screw up. I know that people make mistakes, but she was a smart alec and didn’t even say she was sorry for writing the appointment down incorrectly. Total waste of my time!

I bought a groupon for this business, tried to schedule an appointment for three! days, left FOUR messages and nothing! Finally got a call back from someone who said oh oops, you left messages? Really? didn’t get any messages from you. When I said that I wanted my money back she said«contact groupon, thank you, have a nice day». That was it! No «how can I make it up to you», nothing! Not like I would go in for service after trying to schedule something for three days anyway but she could’ve tried at least!
