Vito’s Grab ‘n Go

Cab drops guy off at Sky Harbor to catch red-​eye back to the East Coast for a long weekend. Guys dinner plans revolve around eating something at one of the restaurants at Sky Harbor before catching the flight.
Memo to self: Sky Harbor rolls up the sidewalks after about 9pm. Eat first or bring something with you next time you are catching a red-​eye.
Vito’s Grab ‘n Go comes through as the only place open. They have some sandwiches that look passable and an interesting looking prepared salad with dried fruit, nuts & feta cheese. We have a winner, and folks this was pretty good for prefab airport food.
Guy heads through security after eating salad, chats with 3 very bored screeners, catches flight, learns from Flight Attendant that «This ain’t New York honey. These folks goin’ to bed.»
