Applebee’s

Messed up my orders multiple times. Food was not prepared properly. Worst Applebee’s I’ve ever been to.

Myself and 3 others go here for lunch sometimes. In the past it has been suitable food, always a nice waitstaff.
Today I ordered the chicken fajita wrap ($ 7.99 lunch special — 12 minutes or less). They give you a timer at your table, and we actually tried it out. It took 16 minutes to get our meals. I did not point this out to the waitress.
I took 2 bites of the wrap and couldn’t taste any chicken in it. I then took a close look and could see no visible chicken in it either — just lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheese. I opened the ½ I hadn’t touched and showed the waitress. She 100% agreed there was no chicken to be seen — and went to get the manager. The female manager had me open the wrap again, and then explained to me that Applebee’s now has them dice chicken «super fine» and mix it with the cheese so you really can’t see it — but rest assured it is there, just chopped up so fine it’s hard to see! (IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The photo from the lunch special menu clearly showed pieces of chicken in the wrap). The manager offered to bring me another with a little more chicken. I opted no, and ordered the boneless wings that my friend had ordered because you could actually SEE chicken in those. It took an additional 15 minutes to get this brought to me, while the guys I ate with had already finished their meals.
In summary — the manager only discounted the chicken fajita wrap, and in turn charged me the more expensive ($ 1 more) boneless wings.
I didn’t pull the no-​tip thing, (Tipped over 15% for my almost $ 14 lunch). It wasn’t the waitresses’ fault.
The manager, however, was lacking in customer service in my opinion — and for that reason I won’t be going back. Telling me that chicken is chopped so fine that I can’t see it — as an acceptable excuse for a CHICKEN fajita wrap — was just a little insulting to me.

Well. First of all, our waiter was not happy for us to be there, especially when we ordered only an appetizer and two entrees for our small family (plus my kids were not hungry at all). She was unhappy and asked in an annoyed tone «is that all?» I said yes. Well the food I ate was bland and the only thing I enjoyed was the buffalo wings. We had to get a to go box because we didn’t finish all the food. I did not appreciate being questioned about the food choices for my family. I can’t remember her name but it started with D. Will not come back here.

Mudslide was awesome. Wait staff was yelling across the room. Crying children were placed in the booth behind us. The wait time for our food was extended bc our waiter placed the wrong order. This was my first time in Picayune ever and I’m sure there are plenty of nice restaurants available. However, for a Wednesday night this was best I could find. Overall, you get what you pay for and this is an Applebee’s.
