The food was okay, no complaints but didn’t wow me. What DID wow me and justifying this 4 star review, however, was the customer service and the lady who took my order. It was the definition of southern hospitality, and stuck with me enough for me to now be writing a quick review about it a year later.

Road trip lunch, I ordered the X-​tra Bacon Thickburger and I’d have to say it was damn tasty. The fries were your run of the mill fries, nothing to write home about.
Most of the tables were a mess. As we scoured the area looking for a semi-​clean sitting area we got a nod from a fellow diner as they could sense or frustration in trying to find a crumb-​free dining area.

Hardee’s is amazing because it is only on long drives across the deep South that I get to experience it and all of its «put more bacon on it!» awesomesauceness.
Workers … eh, *tugs collars* wow. ‘Nuff said.
But the food? DELICIOUS. And they now serve turkey burgers.
Most importantly: the soda fountain. They have Diet Dr Pepper and it comes out tasty. Not flatness at all. Yes! Great success!

I’m not big on fast food restaurants, but for what it is it’s decent! The service is quick and the staff are always friendly. I think the breakfast menu is better than McDonalds. If you’re traveling along I-​59 and need something «quick» and decent to eat I would stop here before McDonalds.
