Dairy Queen Brazier-Pickerington

Been coming here for awhile and this review is long over due. If you want to get a blizzard or something the ice cream is ok, not good. If you want to get a burger or ANY kind of food forget it. Went again today and it refreshed my memory how bad it is. Fries cold, burger terrible, and blizzard ok. My other issue is they are not friendly whatsoever. Owner needs to do some mystery shopping and see what this place is like for normal customers…

Fries were gross chicken was hard as a rock and the tinyest chicken strips ive ever seen. They were out of cherry coke and refused to fill it. I may or may not have gotten diabetis from the pound of butter on the toast. I do not reccomend this location, find another dq and save your time and money

This review is about 10 years coming. Unfortunately when the location moves from downtown pickerington to here the quality dropped drastically. Even with one person I. Front of you the wait is usually 5 – 10 minutes. Too many workers standing around doing nothing.

Back in the days, I mean something like 23 years back in the days, family and I use to hit up DQ when a cold treat craving crept up. Now a days, not so much.
First I should add: This DQ was originally in downtown Pickerington. Football games, after school treat, extracurricular functions. The old place was too small however to keep up with the population increase. This town has grown majorly over the past 10 – 15 years (hello housing developments).Also. accessing the joint was a dilemma. Super small «parking lot». CArs would be lined up to the side of the road ten fold, waiting for their turn.
Thus, this brick-​and-​mortar was built. As time went by, by tastebuds outgrew Blizards. So my stops here anymore are quite sporadic — years. It’s a shot in the dark. I’ve gotten well made concoctions. Other times, there’s barely any chucks — a giant BOO!

Dairy Queen is a dirty one. floor needs swept. tables dirty. Bathroom dirty. And it has plenty of workers that can take care of these issues. Instead of standing around.

So we try DQ one more time and nothing has changed. Arrived at 945 pm. They close at 10. One employee loudly proclaims «why does everyone come just as we’re closing «. Her coworkers must of have the same love of work as my orange Julius was watered down orange juice. Horrible. My wife’s blizzard had the consistency of chocolate milk. I’m surprised DQ has not revoked their franchise. Very disappointed again.

Long wait in the drive thru and the one person in front of me only got 1 thing. And I got the wrong order all together. One of the worse DQs I’ve been to.

Straight up horrible location, we live right nearby but if in the mood for DQ, drive to a different one. Service alone… yeah. Every visit had food messed up, items wrong, and if pointed out you are the bad guy. Try to get an original juilius and its made wrong (icy conisistancy), but they argue that thats the way its supposed to be made… maybe the many other Julius locations that we have been to have all made it wrong? No hesitation in a one star rating for here.

The food is good here, but they have a problem with employee morale. I only go there on occasion, but I’ve seen 2 people quit. Service in drive thru is pretty fast unless it’s after a sporting event. Lines can be long then.
