I absolutely love this pizza! If you are looking for the authentic New York style pizza, this is your place. Pizza is always done right on time, piping hot, and delicious! I have never been disappointed!!!

Moved here from NY a few months ago & I’ve been looking for good pizza shops. A lot of pizza spots near Columbus claim«new york style» but this place here is it! Thin crust & the cheese is just right! Thank you!

Love their pizza. A lot of sauce and delicious. would give 5 stars but they don’t deliver to my house less than 5 miles away. Great food, though.

I tried Pizzaria New York for the first time last night. I thought the pizza was excellent. I’ve seen a lot of reviews talk negative about the service but I have to say the kid that waited on us was very sweet and friendly. You will pay more then you would at a chain pizza place but like most things in life you get what you pay for and in this case it’s definitely worth the couple extra bucks.

Only done takeout and their pizza is amazing and the service is always top notch. Just tried the Italian Sausage Sub and it was simply awesome! Best pizza, calzones and subs on the east side.

Went here for lunch — ambiance is weak and the place looks like they just opened and are working on it. Workers are friendly. Garlic knots are doused with butter and it was way too much for me. The pizza was average but nothing to write home about. I’d go elsewhere to seek out better pizza.

We love this pizza! We always get the extra large cheese pizza. And it could be a bit larger for an extra large but for the price of 15.99 and they deliver! We love it it is my go to pizza!

Found Pizzeria New York through some friends who live in Pickerington. Now… we seriously drive the extra 5 miles, past about 10 – 12 pizza places, just to come here whenever we want pizza! Their pizza is amazing! Thin, hand tossed, with just the right amount of crunchy outside-chewy inside crust. Its the kind of slice that you can fold in half to enjoy. Sauce is good… not overly sweet like some places around. I don’t usually like my pizza with extra sauce, but it makes sense here. Toppings are great! Mushrooms and green olives is our go-to. Just the right amount of saltiness! Atmosphere and service keep me from giving 5 stars. Not bad, just not great. But hey… some of the best pizza joints in NY aren’t known for their customer service. Overall highly recommended!

I wish I could have not given any stars. After a 20 minute wait we checked to see when it would be done and they said 5 more minutes, it took 10 more(I think they forgot to make it). They people that ordered behind us received theirs after 10 minutes(they ordered pepperoni & we ordered mushroom and onion). When they finally brought it to our table I asked if it normally took 30 minutes and all he had to say was«I think we had a big order come in sorry». The sauce was tasteless and runny. Even the thin crust was cooked correctly it also had no flavor. We ate one slice each and left the rest sitting on the table. We won’t even give this place a second try like we try to do because of what I have written above.

Terrible. There were 4 tables when we arrived and at least 9 people working. The place smelled rotten and our table was extremely sticky. After placing our order for 1 medium sausage pizza and a plate of spaghetti w/meatballs it took 30 minutes to bring the dinner salad. 15 minutes later the waiter came with the spaghetti and said they messed up the sausage pizza so they are remaking it(messed it up, It was just sausage?!?). Multiple people then came in over the next 25 minutes and were served pizza or picked up a to go order. New people even sat down and had food delivered in the same time period. My two children were now very hungry so my husband went to the counter to ask for the pizza to be placed in a box to go. He was told that it was just placed in the oven and the waiter admitted it was put at the end of the line of all other orders more than once. He asked him to cancel the order, we paid our bill(no offer to compensate us) and then he asked to speak to the manager. The manager was not there due to what he was told was a personal emergency. Never again. The spaghetti sauce was bitter, very little seasoning, extremely too much tomato paste and the meatballs that they claim are fantastic tasted like cat food.

Great pizza place. If you’re from NY or NJ and looking for good pizza that reminds you of home this is the place.

Always hot and fulfilling. My husband visits this place 2 – 3 times a week. They have great promo coupons so look for them for a great deal. Plenty of parking and easy in and out. Like any good pizza joint packed on Friday nights!

It has«New York» in the name, so of course I rolled down to Picktown for pizza night. Pizzeria New York sits in a strip mall. Inside is a large dining area with plenty of tables(sadly, they were all empty, with one exception, on this Tuesday night). Most of the Unilocal gripes about this place seem to focus on service. For me, the pizza rolled out at the promised time and it was served with a smile. PNY lives up to its name with a very solid New York style pie. The crust is thin, slightly crispy and foldable. There are no giant air pockets under the rim, but you do get some nice doughy chewiness around the edge. The sauce is nice and tart with just the right amount applied. PNY uses fresh mushrooms(thank heavens!!!). The peps were good, but nothing remarkable. Of course I also had to order the pepperoni rolls. While the menu said it was an order of 6, I only got 5. That said, they’re pretty large and an excellent value($ 3.99 for the box), so no gripes. These rolls consist of pizza dough around cheese and pep, all rolled up the way you would roll them croissants out of the can that I so love to use for«croissant dogs» at home. You also get the yummy side-car of marinara for dipping. PNY was definitely worth the trip. If I lived closer to Picktown, I’d definitely be in here more often. Like the sign outside this place says, «There’s a big difference between the big chains and the Independent Pizzerias. Come on in and we’ll prove it to you!» Indeed, they did.

About a year ago I waited 50 minutes for a mediocre pizza so I stayed away, went back tonight to try it again and it was déjà vu all over again. Waited 50 minutes for an underbaked pizza with bland flavor. Never going back. If you want New York style pizza in Columbus, try Adriaticos on campus.

My family and I just ate at Pizzeria New York for the first time. I have to say it was the closest thing so far to NY pizza I’ve had here in Ohio. I’m from NY city and am homesick so this definitely helped. The owner is from NY and our server is from Chicago. The hospitality was great and from our table you can see them tossing the pizza dough which was awesome. My only complaint was the salad. Not much to it, mostly iceberg lettuce. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves!

Moved here 5 years ago loved the pizza. This place is going downhill. Sad to see it but its a reality. Tonight ordered a pizza and 1 hour and 15 minutes later called and was told a pack of lies on why it wasn’t here. Then asked to talk to the manager he said as quoted«what do you want«I said our pizza was ½ hour late and no one called» he said do u want it or not. I said NOT ! Sad cuz it’s the only pizza we like in the area. But like I said its been slowly going downhill I bet it’ll soon be closing. The establishment is really rundown and service is horrible.

Definitely worth checking out, VERY tasty pizza. I was in town for the Violet Festival a couple weeks back and saw this as I drove by and the name caught my attention. Thankfully on our way back it was still before 11, so we got a large pie to go. A little pricey, I think a large with pepperoni and ham was upwards of $ 16+. I can get a pie like that for $ 4 less in other places with the same quality. They were very friendly and it was very good, but its not a place I am going to be sure to venture to next time Im in Pickerington.(I live in Dublin). This is not the best NY pizza Ive tasted since moving to the Columbus-area, but it is certainly a better alternative over the standard chains. Check it out!
