I’ll give it a solid A-ok. When we came it was pretty empty and we had a huge group. They were kind enough to let us have a back party room area rather than shifting everyone in and out of a huge round booth. Service was stellar. The severs were on top of it, refilling our beverages and taking care of us. The owner/manager(?) was also very kind and talkative. The food was simple and tasted ok. Nothing super special to write about and the price is a little steep in my opinion for the quality. I really liked the thin crispy chips we were served. The salsa killed me. It wasn’t really too spicy initially but I got a little chunk of what seemed like a habanero and I couldn’t shake it. I enjoyed the option of soup with my meal. Very old fashioned but nice. We got albondigas and it was yummy. Enjoyed the evening spent with family and enjoyed the service very much.

I will have to agree with Hilda’s review. This restaurant is not clean at all. On top of that, the food is not even decent. I ordered a caldo de albondigas, an order of flautas and a carne asada burrito. They were all a 2 on a scale of 1 – 10. None of the food was finished, it ended in the trash. I only gave it 2 stars because the guy that helped me was extremely nice. I don’t know how this place is even in business.

Dined here for the first time. Restaurant very old and non inviting. My dish was also very non inviting. Beans were dry… Rice no flavor… Tacos were a 3 on a scale of 1 – 10. Upon arrival I should have taken heed as carpets were filthy and restrooms unsanitary and unkept. If you’re looking for a good Mexican food dining experience this isn’t the place. Spend your money elsewhere…

The restaurant was quite, old(out dated decore), empty, and a little on the dirty side. The food was not that great mediocre at best. I had the tacos and they were not what I expected. To me it was like a store bought shell, lettuce was going bad turning brownish, rice was ok but the beans were lacking flavor/salt. However service was great waitress was attentive, nice, professional. I probably won’t go back again.

I come here for breakfast sometimes. The chilaquiles are BOMB. Service is great. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s too quiet and it feels hot and stuffy inside.

The only thing worse than the service was the food. I was so dissatisfied with the taco plate that I really wanted to skip out on the bill. The tacos were greasy, the beans were bland, and the rice was salty. The beat thing was the chips and salsa. I won’t be coming back.

This is an old-school Mexican restaurant. The people who work there are VERY kind and gracious. Some of us who used to work nearby get together a few times a year. They let us order by phone a day ahead of time and they have the food hot and ready when we arrive. They seat us in back room, because they remember that we are loud. Chips and salsa are good. The two in our party who had the green(wet) burrito with steak said it was the best they had ever had there. We will be back. We always tip well. We will be back!

«Old style» «Green chile verde won me over ! their fresh tortilla chips were wonderful ! The house salsa that comes to you is fresh, sweet and just spicy enough, good on everything !

Located in a smallish shopping center, I hear this place goes off on weekends. My co-worker explained that on Sundays there are lines out the door and into the parking lot with large families all coming from church. So take heed! We ended up here as one of my friends was desperately wanted me to try camarones costa azul, a bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese and at Casa Gambino, with crab as well. I have to tell you all, these little buggers are AMAZING, by themselves this is easily a four star delight. The saltiness of the bacon just ignites the shrimp and brings out all the flavor now, add the melted cheese and you have an even better pairing with the bacon. If you are in for a treat and something unique, these are on a highly recommended status. So maybe you are wondering why the 2 stars? Let’s continue. I actually had the chicken flautas and found them a bit lacking. Somewhat flavorless they seemed to be missing a lot of flavor and were just bland. I ate them with guacamole and still nothing, sour cream and still nothing. Just meh. Beans and rice were really nothing special and were equally bland. Service was good, the place was kinda empty so we made it kind of easy for them to help us out. Very good with the refilling and any other requests we had. Chips that came at the beginning of the meal were delicious. Light and crispy, I found them crunchy and not greasy at all. Now, the prices. For 4 of the stuffed shrimp it was $ 14.50. A whopping $ 3.60 a piece! They were good, but this was way out of the range of what I feel is acceptable. My lunch special chicken flauta was $ 7.95. Again, in my opinion for 2 flour flautas at lunch this is quite a high price. Overall, the food was not terrible. The shrimp were amazing but the price tag will keep me from coming again. Casa Gamino, Casa NoReturno.

Service was good but horrible food. I did eat everything and tried to cover the taste with rice and two cups of water. Next time I’ll just go to another restaurant or Taco Bell. The waitress was attentive but I could hardly hear her.

My wife book the banquet room for my surprise birthday dinner. This place has a full bar with seating area. The food is good and the portions are large too. I do like the chicken tacos combo and the shrimp cocktail is very fresh. Very good service as well.

I’ve come here since I was a lil girl, I’m talking like 4 years old. There is still a waitress here that remembers me from then. Anyways great place, excellent service. I love the enchiladas, and tacos, and the flautas. Oooo and especially the albondigas. Great drink deals, like 3.50 Margarita mondays.

Food was good, not incredible. However, I can’t remember the last time I’ve had service that quality.
