Chef’s Coffee Shop

This used to be the spot growing up. Over the years I feel like it’s changed and it’s not as good as it used to be. I used to love the huevos rancheros but they’re just not the same anymore. You’d think over the years they’d also fix up the place. Haven’t been here in a long time.

Delicious food, customer service was on point! Nice ladies continued filling up my coffee & refilling our waters without us having to ask. Not to mention the food was delicious!

Not good I made a mistake coming here the food was cold and tasteless. I found the place to look dirty and the employees looks sloppy. Giving this place one star is being too generous.

I love finding Family owned local businesses on my day off to eat with my wife. I don’t write a review unless it is good. This place is awesome has American and Mexican food anytime of the day. I had flapjacks and eggs my wife had Pozzole. It’s better than norms up the street better service, better food,& ambience is better.

Great new little find in Pico Rivera. If you are are into eating local and supporting small family owned businesses with authentic Mexican and American dishes this is the place for you. Great food, service and prices.

My 2^nd time going today. First time was to eat menudo and this time was to try a different dish. We ordered the California omelette with biscuits and gravy and pancakes with eggs, hash browns and bacon. Everything was good and the service was great! We will definitely be going again!

The outside look of the restaurant is a little outdated and could be discouraging but the food and service are great! They have a great menu selection and their posole is delicious! If you can’t decide on what to order they have an option to select a little bit of everything.
They do just need a little help in getting the food out a little faster so the wait can be lengthy if you’re hungry. Over all this is definitely a place you want to visit if you’re looking for good service and a good sized meal at a reasonable price. Enjoy!

This place is horrible! I have no idea how there is so many good comments about this food. The food is not fresh at all! No love put into the food! AND it smells inside. I will Never come back again

I got the hobo omelette and added avocado on it, amazing! My sister for the chicken n waffles. Very family oriented. Very homey. Cute décor. Quick service ! It was great

Thank you Unilocal for getting me here! This place is absolutely the best. I was running late for a class and decided to stop here for a quick bite with the kids. And we loved it. Quick, friendly service.
Their chocolate milk for kids is on point, whip cream and some chocolate drizzles on top in a large cup.
We ordered the french toast with sausage for kids. And it was HUGE with a very affordable price on it.
The sausage, my kids actually ate it lol.
The décor is very old school, maybe that’s why it has an «at-​home» feel to it but its lovely.
So overall this place deserves 5 stars and a good business future.
And don’t forget to read their sign on the restroom door lol…

My favorite coffee shop The main reason I go there is of course the coffee. I usually get the breakfast delight. And their dinner meals are delicious I like their filet of sole and halibut filet. The vegetable soup and mash potatoes. They have been in business for a long time. And hopefully they stay open!

1^st time coming here after reading other reviews. As soon we walked in and sat down we were attended to. Service was great and food was delicious. .We will definitely come back !!

Amazing!!! Love the look! Loved that there was music playing so nice !! Food was amazing had no idea what to order everyone else’s food was looking bomb too. Would for sure come again ASAP!!! I would recommend this to family and friends it is just for that too. So glad I found this place

It seems like every sunday when I’m heading home i stop at another random café for breakfast. This one had 4.5 stars on Unilocal.The waitresses were friendly, the service fairly attentive. The food was good but really just average. Its fun to stop and try new places, but I sure hope I hit a winner soon.
I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was ok, just didn’t make you feel like you have to return for a second meal.

I’ve always seen this place on my way to work. My wife and I decided to stop by and have breakfast today. Don’t let the outside fool you. From the outside it does not look that great but when you walk inside its not what You would expect. There is no one to great you at the door so we just walked in and sat ourselves. We looked over the menu and placed our order. My wife had the machaca with refried beans and hash browns with an orange juice. My wife really liked what she ordered and wish she would have ordered extra beans. They had to remove the orange juice from the bill because they never brought it to our table. I ordered the chile verde with eggs but chile verde was not done yet so I went with the chilaquiles. Very disappointed and wish the chile verde was done. The chilaquiles were just tortillas smothered in a red sauce. I’ve had way better in other places. Would we go back and give this place another try, yes we would but next time I will order something different. Sometimes places deserve a second chance. The staff by the way was very friendly.

Back at a little café named Olgitas cocina formerly known as Chefs. Same family different menu and authentic food. Menudo is great and the plates are awesome. Family environment.

Right away place is very lively. Staff is super nice and welcoming, great vibe and live music.
The food tasted very homemade, good servings and good prices.
Will definitely come back again.

Pretty good spot. I hit this spot up for breakfast. The service was good, place was clean, and food was good and not too expensive. I did notice they just got new owner ship.
the only thing about this place is yes, its needs a makeover badly. Otherwise, good.
