I’ve had Rios pizza before so I know it’s yummy! Today I needed a heart shaped pizza. Guess who came through! I requested a pizza with pepperoni in the shape of a heart. Paul suggested we do a heart shaped pizza because it would slice better! Super happy! So cute! Monthaversary pizza

If I could give no stars I would! Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced! The girl who answered the phone was rude and short. I called to place a order for delivery and was told it would take 2 hours therefore I sent my husband to pick up the order. Mind you we live in Whittier by Michigan Park so the drive is not close by. When he arrived home they not over charged him but they gave him the wrong order. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza & antipasto salad. He arrived with pepperoni & mushroom salad and regular salad. Mind you my son is allergic to mushrooms. When I called I spoke with Eddie who is EXTREMELY RUDE! I explained that they gave us the wrong order he never apologized and stated that he has no drivers so I had to take the order back if I want the right order. I stated that it’s a distance and what compensation would I receive for having to go back. He stated I would receive nothing free but if I wanted the right order I had to take back the old order.
Save your time & energy and go to the one in Montebello. If it’s the same owner than they need to hire a new staff for Pico Rivera. Worst customer service ever!

I have been eating Rios pizza for about 15 years now and always go back because even though they are a bit more pricey than others, they never skimp on toppings until now. I ordered a mushroom and olive pizza, and my hubby went to pick up. I opened the pizza at home and well if I wanted Dominos amount of toppings I would’ve gone there. I called Rios to find out if this is because of recent price increases or something, but no. I was transfered to a man, who told me that he made my pizza, and that he has been working there for 5 years and always puts that amount of toppings on the pizzas (essentially telling me I was wrong). Then tells me «I can give you a credit for another topping if you’d like, or are you ok…» Really?! I told him its fine, I understand their customer service now.(or lack of it). I work in Customer Service. I have never complained about anything to them. I always reccomend their pizza! I have been a long time customer since I was 12! They did not give me the pickle. I’m not happy with them. Maybe next time I will be driving to Downey Pizza Company instead. I just started eating and my pizza is dry and hardly any sauce on it. They just lost a customer.

Great pizza but the service is terrible. So rude always. Take the drive to the one in Montebello instead where they are happy to have your business. And believe it or not, the pizza is even more delicious.

I seriously never buy pizza from anywhere else. And I don’t even live in pico rivera, so that is saying a lot.

Wow… I am extremely disappointed in this establishment. I called tonight to place an order for delivery, and was told they would not deliver to my residence because they were «really backed up right now»… I was willing to wait the 1 ½ hour estimated delivery time, I only live 1.1 miles away, and they still refused my business. Perhaps they only deliver to houses within a mile radius only. If I wasn’t worried about a possible DUI, I would drive there myself because the food is good, it’s too bad their service is not.

Used to the one in nearby Montebello because that is where a lot of fundraisers are held at but this location was better! Despite not having a dining area this Rios Pizza serves out higher quality pizza quickly too. Love pizza? order one for pick up or delivery at the Pico Rios!

I’m sorry I have to give the 3 star rating but Rios pizza is «slipping». The last time I ordered a pizza from here the crust/​dough was different than before. Its more of a wheat/​blend kind of cheap dough. If I am paying $ 20 dollars for a pizza now «no longer a bargain» then I want top quality ingredients.
I noticed Rios sometimes likes to cut corners and skimp on the quality ingredients at times. Before it was the cheese. They started using a «blend» type cheese then quickly changed it.
Pizza is still good but I rate it «OK» since they use cheap ingredients at times and the price is way too expensive.

I have no issues, with places like Pizza Hut & Dominos’, but I just refer mom & pop places if I am able. We have been there twice now for a pie, and it i one of the best pizza’s I have and from any place around me in Pico. As a matter of fact, this is now my go to place for a pizza.

Best Pizza in Pico… has been since it moved here years ago. Always great tasting. It may take a while for delivery but worth every minute. So make sure you give yourself plenty of time so you’re not too much in a hurry. Again, it’s worth the wait. Good tasting food takes time. Try it. You’ll see.

Seriously, one of my favorite pizzas hands down! Soooo cheesy and the crust is yummy! The sauce is real sauce, not like those fake sweet sauces. A must try if new to the area.

***Charles from Rios in Montebello explained why. Very nice, he didn’t have to. Pizza still is amazing. Please, PLEASE, tell customers it’s CASH ONLY for delivery BEFORE they give you a whole order. That kind of information is useful.

This place always gives my mouth an orgasm. That’s all you really need to know coming from a pizza head that has possibly had 1,234,467 pizza slices In 26 years. I think their pizza is just perfection. I always come here for pizza. I would keep writing but I’m actually about to get up & go to the kitchen for my 4^th slice oh I get the pizza with everythinggggg!

Good place to go but be prepared for the wait. Even though you have called over the phone and place an order there is only one register so you have to stand in line and wait to pick up your pizza.

Dude, I love me some Pizzamania but came to this place out of curiosity bc of the reviews and bc it’s a little closer to my house. Well I’m glad I did! HOLY CRAP IT’S TASTY!
I freaking love how thick the cheese is! I use a fork to cut it sometimes! And dizzamn that sausage if flippin delicious! Best sausage I’ve ever had on pizza. In general! Idk where they get it bc good Lordy it’s so tasty! The crust is awesome too bc it’s thick but not to the point where you feel like you’re only eating bread. It’s somehow moist with a bit of crisp on the outside and perfect for piling on the toppings! I hate those places that either have such thin crust your pizza looks like a flaccid weenus or is nothing but crust that you swear some pepperoni was thrown onto a loaf of bread! Now of days I don’t care if food is a little pricier than I used to pay bc when it’s this good, I will pay! I think I actually like it better than Pizzamania! GASP!
This place is a hole in the wall, so don’t expect to actually dine here bc there’s no room for that. Just some chairs to wait in and their kitchen area. That’s literally it. You will miss it if you’re not looking. It’s nestled between some businesses that are not right on the road either. Gotta look back a little. But it’s totally worth it. Gonna get some right now!!!

I loooooove Mom and Pop stores. I’m all for supporting small businesses. I’ve heard of this place about a year ago and they said they make good pizza. I just never had the time to go. I had this bright idea to do a pizza/​POI (Persons of Interest) night and decided to finally give this place a try.
I suggest you call 20 minutes ahead because that’s how long it took for my order to get ready. I didn’t mind the wait. I’d rather have them make the pizza after I order rather than going in and them handing me a pre-​made one. 5 stars for that. On that note…
Service (5 stars) — the girl who helped me was very friendly and sweet. She recommended a side dish to go with my picsa. Very, very sweet.
Cheese bread (1 star) — I hate giving low ratings when the I like the service but… It was too salty. I think they used salted butter on the bread, garlic and then cheese.
Meat Lover’s Pizza (1 star) — I opened the box was very happy to see all kinds of meat piled on my thin crust pizza. Ham, sausage, and even pastrami (?). I ordered the medium but even their medium looks like a large one to me. I took the first bite and… All I could taste was salt. I love salt. I crave for salty food more than I crave for sweets. But this was just too much for me. I ate another slice hoping it was just one part that didn’t taste good but heck… I was hella thirsty during and after eating the picsa. That pie in my fridge will be in the trash when I get home.
Overall, I paid $ 23 for the pie and garlic bread. After eating 2 slices and a bread, $ 15+ in the trash right there.
As for the parking, make sure you don’t park anywhere near those big SUV’s driven by women. I was sitting in my car when the women parked next to me gave me the evil eye coz she couldn’t get her fat ass in her vehicle. I offered to move but apparently she didn’t hear me coz she proceeded to rub her door against my mirror. Sigh. I offered. I’m not getting into a fight. My blows won’t even hurt her. Too much padding.
Not going back.

My family and I have always ordered from here. Quite frankly there is nothing that quite compares to this pizza. NOTHING!!! Next time you are craving good pizza, this is the spot you want to come too. there are many factors that determine what YOU may consider a good pizza but if you are going to eat a pizza, HOT, FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN, this is the pizza you want. Don’t wait for it to arrive to your house. Don’t wait till you get home to open. Grab a slice right there and then. Judge. If it is not worthy, demand for a new pizza!

My last name is Rios, & I am happy to say that they are the best in town!
I recommend fresh garlic and sausage pizza, its a delight you’ll want again and again!

Conclusion: I do not rate as high as Pizzamania or Two Sal’s but much higher than any chain. The thickness of my last pizza order here will keep me coming back.
