Me & my family always love to stop by at this place! The staff is pretty friendly & the portion sizes are huge! Which is a plus for us! The food is just outstanding & the prices are pretty great as well! Just overall delicious chinese food here in pico :)

I absolutely love this place. My family has been eating here since before I was born. Their food is really good tasting for a really cheap price, and the portions hear are amazing. 2 – 3 combos can feed a family of 6 easy. Their Orange Chicken is delicious as well as their BBQ Pork. Right now I’m in love with their Sweet and Sour Chicken and Steamed rice. I have moved all over So Cal and even to San Francisco but when I’m in town I always stop by Happy Wok for some very delicious Chinese food. Highly recommend this place!

Love this place! I’ve been coming here since before I could look over the counter, great food and good service. Sometimes you’ll come and they’ll be a line but that’s a given in a hometown gem like this. Besides, their always cooking up fresh food and you’ll never wait that long anyways. For the amount of food you get, you can’t go wrong! Sometimes I have to ask her to stop lol! Good teriyaki & orange chicken. Their BBQ beef is great, dumplings, broccoli beef, steamed and fried rice. They usually offer it up in a classic Styrofoam player but they’re also offering chicken bowls now which they never have before and also finally accepting cards (debit/​credit) for payment. Décor is basic. They’ve recently painted and fixed it up a little bit. It’s a great little hidden gem. A Yoshinoya recently opened two spaces down, trying to capitalize on their business IMO! But screw that! Happy wok is where it’s at. Best Chinese in town!

Paid 5.50 for a mountain of rice, fat slab of chow mein, coated with a thick layer of beef and broccoli. If you are starving and need something for the low low. This is the place. I can eat man but I just can’t finish this damn box.

I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, and I’ve never had anything other than their soups. They are so good. They’re always hot and very well served. Lots of meat and vegetables and the seasoning is just right. The only reason they don’t get the fifth star is because they don’t have hot and sour soup. I highly recommend their soups.

Is this a 5star restaurant? No but it’s worth what u pay for. Food taste good and the plates are stupid packed on. I’ve been coming here for over 25 years and not one thing has changed. I love this place.

Not fancy but it’s really good! My family has been coming here for over 15 years! I probably have this 5 – 6 times a year but my dad eat there at least once a week! Seriously.

I will give this restaurant five stars because I have been coming here with my family for 28 years. It’s not meant to be this fancy restaurant. It’s meant to give you good food at a low price and that’s what it does. This is better than panda express. It is not authentic Chinese food but it is good comfort food. Two people can share a two item combo. I love the orange chicken and the barbecue pork, as well as the curry chicken and broccoli beef.

UGGH, I should have walked away when I had the chance. The chow mien was not good, the kung poa chicken nasty. As soon as I took a bite, I spit it out. There was something weird tasting about it my mouth just rejected it. I also ordered a Boba, and the Boba was hard. Also, not very clean.
Go to Happy Wok instead.

I gave this place two stars for the orange chicken. Chow mien was overlooked and had wayyy to much cabbage. It was basically cabbage with the noodles on the side. The Kung pao was not spicy at all and the chicken tasted weird to me. The veggies with the king pao were not great, really overcooked.
You get a lot of food for the money
But the food just wasn’t great. I would rather have Panda Express and we all know thats not even authentic Chinese.
Also the restaurant just didn’t seem clean in general. That kind of turns you off too.

I give this place 3 stars mostly for the value. It is a HUGE amount of food. Literally, I weighed the 2 combo meal and it weighed 2lbs! However, the good things about this place end there. The food is low quality and tastes of msg. There is usually always a long line. Cash only. Parking is usually hassle free tho.

I just left there right now and had to write a review ASAP!
What ever you do avoid this place. It felt as if i was eating someones leftovers from 2 days ago. On top of that, there was about only 7 items on the menu. I already feel the food is not sitting well and i just finished eating 5mins ago.

I love this place my aunt use to live near it so every time I went to visit I had to stop by when I learned to drive I had to drive out here for fast Chinese yrs later I moved to pico now I’m in heaven. Not a vRiety but they have what I need. Place is not nice but hey I order to go so that’s not a problem w me. They stack the plates and he price is good so I’m happy

I grew up here & have been coming to this place for as long as I can remember!
Price is amazing when your on a budget 1 plate can feed two people easily, they give you so much food!
Price & amount is definitely 5 star worthy, but the place it self is a tad bit outdated. Bathrooms are nasty here! And the food is okay not super good but definitely good for the price!
The original owners to this place recently sold it so it’s under new management! Sucks that they don’t understand or speak English to good!

The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is because the selection is a bit limited but the food is great and its very inexpensive.
When you are getting your order they will pack your plate. They are not stingy with the food so you get more for what you pay.
I love this place. I have been coming here for the past 3 ½ yrs and I will continue to go in the future. My hubby loves this place too, very happy customers.
