I usually go to a place in uptown whittier for Chinese. Had to stop at Big 5 for a few things and saw this place. Went in and the 1st thing I noticed was how clean this place is. The ladies behind the counter were also well kept and had clean uniforms. That’s a deal breaker for me! !Ordered the peppered chicken and teriyaki with half steamed rice and noodles. Order of egg rolls to round it off! This food is good I mean really good! All the dishes looked well prepared and tasty which is s pleasant suprise, especially with“fast food” associated with Chinese. It’s also well priced everything came out to under 9 bucks. Will definitely be coming back! !

I am all about a good noodle! It has to be chewy and stretchy, and not doughy or bland. Their chow mien is YUM! And their teriyaki chicken is seasoned just right! It says«Fast Food» but tastes like it was cooked with love. Yummy to my tummy, and soothing to my soul! Service was also great! Recommended!

Sometimes nothing hits the spot except some fast food chinese! When I visit my cousin in Whittier, we will hit up Kung Pao Fresh, order some chow mein, kung pao chicken, and egg rolls to go, add some extra spice with sriracha and seed sauce, put on our stretchy yoga pants, and watch Netflix. This is the ultimate comfort food!

I guess we just slap the word«fresh» in the name and it’s suddenly so. This place is serving up cheaply made chinese food and somehow it’s worse than Panda. The rice is clumpy and moist, the kung pao appears to have been bathed in marinade before being undercooked then held in a hot box so it can be served cold. Even the peas in the fried rice were shriveled as if ashamed to be involved in this mess. I don’t recommend it.

We love it! Being on a no wheat, no dairy diet, Chinese food is a treat. This place is a clean, friendly, tasty place just walking distance from home. Our Sunday meal every week.

Nothing to write home about. Fortune cookies are 10 cents and probably better than the food. The restaurant has a B rating… :/

The place was much better than I expected. The restaurant is very nice and clean inside. The food tasted fresh just like it states in the name. I’ve had my share of Chinese fast food and this place blows the rest out of the water. My husb and I weren’t sure what to get. The man working there was nice and offered us samples of the bbq pork, sweet and sour chicken and teriyaki chicken. All were good! We weren’t super hungry so we just got a medium a la carte teriyaki chicken and the shrimp wonton soup. I like that the teriyaki chicken doesn’t have all that teriyaki sauce on it. It is just grilled with great flavor. And the soup was very yummy and tasted like there was wine in it. Will definitely be my new go-to for Chinese food.

We came for the first time today after hesitating for a while. It was the best decision we made!!! We had the shrimp vegetable soup and the orange chicken combo with chow main, everything was tasty, clean and non greasy. I also liked the fact the restrooms are clean! Something many restaurants lack

Better quality than your average fast food for about the same price. Finally after years of craving Chinese I find this place on Unilocal and I’m very happy.

I was a little skeptical about this place since this location always has something new in it. I was very pleasantly surprised! We ordered 4, 2 item combos to go. They consisted of orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, vegetables, pork, rice and chow mien. Everything had such great flavor, the meat was tender and flavorful. My daughter and I are big fans of soup so I also ordered a wonton soup… The wontons are amazing!!! I wish I had a bowl with just those. My family will definitely be back, especially since the one that was by our house closed.

Proud to say me and the wife were their very first customer many months back. Glad they have become a staple of good Chinese food in the community. This place is serious one of my favorite fast food Chinese place. I almost feel like calling this place fast food is an insult since it’s a bar above the rest. Each city has its own legit places for every type of food and Pico Rivera has Kung Pao Fresh! Teriyaki Chicken is very good. Sweet n’ Sour Chicken was the best I ever had. Really good Fried Rice. Staff is beyond kind and they seem to truly appreciate their customers. Try the teriyaki chicken!!!

I am so excited and scared that this place is so close to my house. Excitement because the food is so good and fresh. scared because I totally let myself have it when I do eat here. It is not your typical Chinese fast food. You can tell the food hasn’t been sitting there for hours. The prices are very very reasonable for the amazing quality. I don’t want to say how many times I’ve been there since they have opened lets just say the owners always seem to remember me. Oh and they place is very clean. Give this place a try and you won’t be sorry. Make sure you have the teriyaki chicken a try. Happy eating!

I dropped by to pick up some soup since I heard they have affordable freshly made soups. Got my fav egg drop soup(requested no peas and carrots) and the shrimp vegetable soup. Both were very tasty and not overly salty like other fast food places. The lady in the front told me all their soups are chicken stock based and every morning they make fresh stock stewed from actual chicken! Whoever heard of a fast food place that did that?! The restaurant dining area looked clean… no sticky chairs and table :) They have 2 TVs and pretty strong air conditioning so I wouldn’t mind finishing a meal here. I generally do not like Chinese fast food but I sampled the teriyaki chicken and it was actually really good. I would definitely come back for the soup and teriyaki chicken.

If you want(fast) Chinese food, this is the place. It’s very clean inside and the service is great. It doesn’t even compare to the other Chinese fast food chains because the food isn’t as oily and seems more freshly prepared. Also, they don’t skimp on the meat., as in you will actually find beef in your beef broccoli. I’ve had so many incidents where I chose not to order it at other restaurants, even though it is my favorite, because all I get is broccoli. The combo deals are awesome because the prices are on point and the portions are very generous. They also do catering!

This is the first Chinese restaurant to get my catering order right! Kudos to the KPF Team! Since I own multiple businesses, it’s important for me to support another business that runs a flawless operation. Spotted this place a few weeks ago while picking up some sports apparel at BIG5(next door) and decided to grab their 2 item platter. Unlike most Chinese restaurants(even the fancy ones), this store actually had CLEANTABLES! No sticky nasty tables which IMO is very unacceptable in any restaurant operation. Good service, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. KPF has my seal of approval.

4.30809140112152204 Stars A solid 3 stars to be fair, I am bumping it up to 4 because I had a good impression of this place today. I will be back and I will update my review, rating up or down. –Service was good –Very Clean –Opened recently(appx 2 months) –Parking is okay –ATM/Credit or cash accepted The food looks nice and it smelled good, to me, that is very important when I select a place to eat Chinese fast food. I picked up fried rice, chow mein, beef and broccoli, teriyaki chicken, bbq pork and orange chicken. In some Latino areas, Chinese food places run out of orange chicken at times, but they seemed to have enough. Glad to see a new Chinese fast food restaurant in my city. Song parody of Rose Royce’s 1976 song«I Wanna Get Next to You» Xiaojie, I do praise Thinking of food Aaahhh sexy, dreaming of my bae While filling up my tray Rice, chicken and chow mein Yeah See I’m, dreaming of rice Water with ice And your juicy pork Char Su Oh can’t you see? I wanna eat Chinese food So lovely when I taste Chinese rice I see a pork in, the sky And girl you’re Chinese is my foodie cure With you’re elegant demure I wish there was no line Because you are just my type Morning or night Cause I’m, hungry for more, open your door There is one place I want to put my face in In your porcelain bowl So, I wanna eat Chinese food I wanna eat Chinese food Baby yeah Ah ah ah ah ah Ah yeah Oh you can, feed me, tease me, please me My pleasure it is, to eat you I want to do My Chinese dream come true And I wanna eat Chinese food Baby yeah I wanna eat Chinese food I wanna eat your entrees and rice (I wanna eat Chinese food) I promise that I will write reviews (I wanna eat Chinese food) So let the lunch begin with all of this food (I wanna eat Chinese food) Oh I’m in lunch with you (I wanna eat Chinese food)

I’m a bit of a fussy eater when it comes to fast food Chinese food. Because quite frankly, most of the time it’s not done well. So I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place for the first time. As the name implies, everything I got here tasted extremely fresh(not something that you often associate with Chinese fast food joints). The veggies had just the right amount of crunchiness and meats were tender and not the usual chewiness and fake-tasting that I hate. Another thing I really like is the flavoring here. I hate it when Chinese food tastes like it’s been doused with a ton of salt. From the fried rice to the broccoli beef — everything was perfectly seasoned. And boy do I appreciate that.(Not trying to look bloated here or die from hypertension for that matter). All in all, if you’re looking for a quick, fresh bite of Chinese food, I would definitely recommend you check this place out. My stomach is a happy camper so two thumbs up from me!

I came to the Big 5 in this plaza and saw the grand opening sign for this place. It looked clean and inviting so me and my friend decided to try it. I got the 2 item combo for $ 5.99 which came with fried rice or chow mein(I split and got both). I also chose the sweet and sour chicken and the broccoli beef. It was so much food — they don’t seem to skimp here. Not good for my diet, but great for anyone looking for a good and big meal for under $ 6. We also shared an order of the crispy vegetarian egg rolls which were a little peppery and was pretty good. My friend got the BBQ spare ribs which she said was great — but honestly looked a bit scary to me because the sauce was so red. Parking is abundant in their lot and service was pretty efficient.
