Taste wise it might not be like panda express but value wise its definitely up there with the best, looker clean, food looked fresh, generous portions. Won’t be coming back but I was not at all disappointed.

I just bought myself a bowl with fried rice and beef n broccoli, so my review will be on these two items only. The portion was good, however the taste of the food was lacking. The rice was pretty bland in my opinion, the beef has an odd pungent taste. I want to say it’s too seasoned, and not good. The only thing I liked was the broccoli and that says a lot because I DON’T eat veggies! I didn’t finish the bowl, I know if I did I would have gotten sick. The establishment is just your regular Chinese fast food joint, pretty dirty and run down. I highly doubt I’ll be going back.

I’ve been here several times, and every time I come here I feel like I’m an inconvenience to the people behind the counter. I’m not ordering anything special and am not nitpicky, but just walking in the door their attitude sucks. The quality of the food and the price are not worth the attitude. Their boba is also always old/crumbly like it’s been sitting for days. Do yourself the favor and make the drive to a Panda Express.

I was pretty disappointed after reading all the good reviews. If you’re looking for huge portions at a decent price, but don’t care about how good the food is, this is your spot. It’s not that it tasted terrible, it didn’t taste much like anything. The food looks and smells right, but the flavor isn’t there. I had chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken. The orange chicken was half decent. The kung pao wasn’t spicy and didn’t taste like kung pao, it was pretty strange overall. Again, come here if you’re starving and don’t care about the food being good, the portions are huge.

I’ve been coming here since I was in the womb and it’s always been a family favorite. Each item is so flavorful and addicting! My personal favorites are kung pao chicken, tangerine chicken, jalapeño chicken, and the bbq pork. They also have honey shrimp which is charged extra but it’s really good too. Their chow mein and rice are excellent, oh and the egg rolls are to die for! I’ve never had better egg rolls elsewhere. This is arguably the best fast food Chinese restaurant in SoCal.

Came here on a Wednesday morning.. Didn’t really want to try the food after seeing how dirty the place was. Floor was really dirty. tables were sticky and dirty. but I was so hungry and I was on the clock so I ordered.. The food was oki but I don’t think the best. Cashier offered me a medium drink with my meal and the fountain drinks weren’t even working. why offer me a fountain drink when you know they are not working.. So I had mentioned to her why have me purchase a fountain drink if she knew it didn’t work. So she offers me a can soda. I take it and the thing was so flat… BTW most of the cans had dust on the top…. Sorry but I would never come here again. besides looking around the place while eating I saw tons of spider webs hanging from the ceiling.. And a dead Water bug near the toy machines.. . I could just imagine what the kitchen looks like inside were they cook the food.

The Jalapeño Chicken was amazing! Very yummy! The BBQ pork was just ok, no flavor, was missing more bbq sauce and would not get it again! The Chow Mein noodles were too soft and no flavor, would also not get them again! The parking sucks, very limited spaces but a huge plus that that take ATM/CC, will definitely come back just for that Jalapeño Chicken

I really enjoy the chow mein and the Warwonton soup, you have to order it. It’s a wonton soup with veggies, beef, pork, shrimp, and a light broth. The portions are huge. My only complaint is the restaurant itself needs to be updated and the tables can be a bit sticky.

Pico Rivera isn’t the first place I’d look for a good Chinese restaurant. But this one is the best if you’re looking for Panda Express quality Chinese food. And they sure do serve more than Panda Express. This place is right behind Carl’s Jr. and is always busy. Parking might be a challenge during rush hour. You never go wrong with Half-and-Half. Half fried rice, half chow mein. Beef broccoli tastes great. Kung pao chicken is great. When you’re sick, their won ton soup will never disappoint you. Do they use MSG? I never bothered to ask. When I buy from them, my health is farthest from my mind considering I’m going for a boatload of rice and noodles plus the sodium in their main entrees. Eat up, friends.

I would never expect to find decent Chinese food in Pico Rivera, but this place changed my mind! :) This place looks like one of those cheap, Americanized-Chinese food to-go places, but don’t be fooled. The food is really good(and this is coming from a Chinese person)! They give you generous portions! And the food is authentic Chinese food. The chef speaks Cantonese and he’s a really nice Chinese man. My favorite entrees are: Tangerine chicken, mushroom chicken, chicken with green beans, and jalapeño chicken. I always order their 2-item combo with half fried rice/half chow mein. And I can make two meals out of this, all for under $ 7! They also have tapioca milk tea and thai iced tea w/boba. :) I haven’t tried it yet, but whenever I’m craving boba, will give it a try. Really glad that I can get some good Chinese food that’s walking distance away from work.
