Rivera Motel

Let’s just say this was an interesting stay for my husband who is a lineman. They do rent by the week… but only a small number of rooms available for weekly rates. $ 434 for card users, $ 385 cash was not bad. One room he stayed in had no carpet just linoleum floor and when he walked in, another guest had already moved in. Wasn’t her fault really; housekeeping just let her in. Her room was actually next door. Since she had already moved in, they decided to go downstairs and just swap rooms at the desk. That was an interesting process since the woman kept saying «No Entiendes» (I don’t understand). His room didn’t have a clothes rod in the closet and there was no microwave. The second room he got after he requested to change rooms was downstairs and had carpet and a clothes rod. They charge for ice and it was 50 cents a bucket. He left the day after the desk called him at midnight and told him he had to move his truck because they said it was blocking the lot. He was surprised to find that channel 25 is PORN. and apparently free. Just a heads up (or a perk) for anyone staying. Thank goodness no bed bugs to complain about and they only clean once a week if you are weekly.

Do not stay in this disgusting pest infested «motel» just arrived and first thing we see is a huge roach on the headboard. Not only that it the whole room smelled like weed. Only reason I booked was because it was the only thing available. Lesson learned, Next time I’ll book ahead of time. Walked right back out and got a refund. The owner has the nerve to say they do pest control monthly um I guess not. Zero stars if I could. I can’t believe this place was 140 $, complete trash.

This place sucks, I went to leave a friend off help her with her bags and the lady at the front desk was rude, telling her no visitors and if she was going to have visitors she better check out. Not only that, but charged her extra for checking in early and wanted $ 10 extra for a non smoking room. She lost my business and anyone I would have referred. I will stay anywhere rather then there. Bad customer service, does not make you feel comfortable. GO ELSE WHERE!

What can I say about this motel, other than it’s CLEAN! The floors, bed sheets, bathroom & shower… everything was clean and made me feel comfortable. The weekly rate was affordable as well.
It’s nearby to a Ralph’s supermarket, a CVS, McDonald’s, El Pollo Loco, Subway, and a WalMart Supercenter is about 1.5 miles away.

Ive stayed here twice the first time was greaf big beds! Nice clean room and restroom. But the second time it seemed a lil outdated. But worst of all needs new beds! They are hard to the max I had backs problems for a few days! It would be 5 stars if they got new ones and updated a lil! Oh and there price went up by $ 10 since last time. What a shame for that price ill go elsewhere.

Make sure everything is working in your room as soon as you check in… Frig was broken in my room and I mentioned it to the front desk and nothing was done… so don’t get comfy right away inspect your room!

Great small motel. Very clean, and affordable. Close to the highway. Everything you want from a motel.

Visited this place over the weekend. Had to write a review. I arrived around midnight which was pretty late. There was barely any parking. It seemed as though there was only one parking per room.
The room was very clean & smelled very good for a motel. I could tell the towels in the room were new. I have mention the rooms have a very special touch of awesome to them. You don’t notice that the ceilings or walls are painted untill you turn on the hidden black lights above the head board. Once you turn on the black lights the room glows. The black lights were a reassurance that the place was clean. The sheets were clean thank goodness. Every toom is painted differently (I’ve been told by one of the attendants). Our room had an entire sky with stars, moon & clouds.
The room i stayed in had a jaccuzzi which also had a painted mural at the opposite side of the wall.
This place was great overall. The price was reasonable. I’d highly reccomend this place to anyone

Economic, basic, clean, off Highway 5 south, free parking – just what I needed! Was a bit concerned about the area but it was fine. No problem. 4 stars for having a feeling that the sheets were not as clean… probably just a feeling.
