Waited 20 minutes in drive thru, for them to tell me they were out of green tea. And waited for them to take my order on the speaker 6minutes, until I finally said hello. Horrible customer service. Never going back

I’m a working professional and usually go to Starbucks a few times a week. I have the app and gold card, so I consider myself a loyal Starbucks customer. I visited this Starbucks location for the first time today and I won’t be back. I had just gotten off of work and made a quick pitsop here. The restrooms had some type of combo lock. I’ve never been to a Starbucks with this type of lock in the restroom. The over-priced coffee usually helps them cover the cost of a janitor; however, in reading some of the other reviews, I guess this is how they do things in Pico Rivera. I waited in line for a few minutes to ask the cashier for the lock code. The young lady, young enough to be my daughter, then had the nerve to tell me that the restroom was for customers only and asked me to buy something to get the restroom code. I was so insulted and surprised by what this minimum wage worker had the nerve to tell me, that I just smiled in disbelief and walked out. This is not the type of service I expect at a Starbucks. I’ll never be back to this location again.

Where to begin with this Starbucks? How do you only have 2 people working at a Starbucks and make people wait 20+ minutes in a drive thru?! To whoever the barista was tonight, if I tell you that my drink was too strong and did not taste like the drink I ordered, don’t ask me what it tastes like. It is your job to make my drink to my liking. We pay so much money for«good» coffee and you still wanna be smart and question me. I ordered a caramel macchiato and it tasted like black coffee. I have been having this drink for a very long time for them to be questioning me «what does it taste like?» Very unprofessional.

The staff here are exceptional. I could list so many reasons why the staff here are exceptionally better than the majority of Starbucks I visit. More than once they have comped my drink in the drive thru when my wait time was long due to a crowded line. Never have they intentionally taken longer than usual or given me attitude if I don’t tip(the irony is the staff here actually deserve a tip). It’s funny that the staff are friendlier and provide better service in an area with vagrants wandering the sidewalks than in «nicer» parts of town. There are other examples I could offer, but the point is that the staff here are actually kinder and provide better than average service by comparison to most of the Starbucks I visit. Again, this is even more remarkable given the surroundings of which they must contend.

Being a Starbucks one would think it would be a good experience but it wasn’t . Employees are not happy . The cashier needed to speak up I could barely hear him. I ordered a venti mocha with whip. I got a venti mocha with no whip. It taste like a watered down chocolate without milk. But than again what did I expect it is pico Rivera.

This location definitely caters to the drive through only… very dirty today… outside line is longer than inside and still the inside gets love… go to the other pico one on Washington…

Worst starbucks ever. Caters to the drive-thru at the expense of the walk-ins. And they aren’t moving the drive thru, so wtf! Dont ask for anything extra, like equal, its on the other side of the store so you’ll wait 3 more minutes for that. Forget about toppings, no cinnamon, no vanilla and after 10 min. I couldn’t wait any longer. BTW. — sugar in the vanilla shaker, screwed up my coffee over it! PO’d! Those that gave it more than two stars have to be employees fearing retribution. there’s just no way. I’ve been coming here for a while. This isn’t based on a fluke visit.

I came through the drive-thru, it was a bit slow but HEY what can we do when there are millions of people in the line and ordering more than 2 drinks at a time. Of course it will be slow its just common sense. but the customer service was great. I liked the fact that they offered me certain teas since the specific branded tea that i liked is out of stock. Thats an A plus for them for doing that.
