On our way up to Klamath to see the sequoia trees from Vacaville and stopped here for a stretch. Great little place to stop, walk around, see the odd confusion hill house and maybe get a bite to eat. A bit old, used and run down but otherwise an interesting place to see. Definitely worth a visit. Kids loves the crooked house and oddities. The gift shop was nice as well, with lots of little trinkets. There are some large sequoias on the property too.

I’m the type that’s into freaky stuff. Oh please… Horror stuff, supernatural, weird things… Gravity House is as weird as it can get! My body felt so weird being in Gravity House. Yes, confused would be a good word to describe it too. There are a lot of theories about Confusion Hill. The most common theory is that a meteorite, large mineral deposit, or lodestone exists deep in the mountain to cause this effect. My friends and I think it’s an optical illusion. It’s the way the house was built, uneven and slanted to give you a weird feeling. Whatever it is, this mystery spot is worth checking out. With Unilocal check-in it’s free for kids(I did not have signal here. I have AT&T) $ 5 for adults– 13 years old and up $ 3 for kids Located on route 101, northbound before you hit Humbolt County. If going on a roadtrip, I highly suggest stopping here for some random roadside fun.
