This was the worst experience I have ever had with a cabin rental in pigeon forge. We normally always use , which is amazing every time, but they were booked. I found Aardvark through the internet, everything seemed normal. Rented«Bearfoot Woods». This cabin is for sale, so obviously, it is not maintained unless rented, because when we arrived at 9:30 pm, the air hockey table did not work, the xbox was the first ever model made and did not work, the switchbox would not switch to the playstation, one whole seat in the hottub did not work and the tub was dirty, they only have limited basic cable, but yet the cabin is advertised with an 8 foot media room… kinda pointless when you only get 50 channels and none of them are movie stations. The manager, Scott, was rude, took my complaints, did not return my calls. Maintenance did not even make it out till Saturday afternoon. We arrived on thurday night and were leaving Sunday, so this ruined our whole weekend of relaxing. So, just a warning, they have an F rating with the local BBB for failure to respond to complaints and not having a vaild address. yes… we tried every listing for them to go to the office and speak with management. good luck. you will not find them.

Stayed at «Away at Last» cabin with another couple. There are 2 floors. The 1st floor has the kitchen, living room, one bedroom with queen sized bed and shower/bathroom. The 2nd floor has the pool table and master bedroom with king sized bed, jacuzzi, toilet but no shower. There is a hot tub and bbq grills on the deck. It’s a one lane road up to the cabin. When we arrived, the cabin was clean and well-stocked except the aluminum frying pans were really thin and warped, so luckily we had brought our own. It is also missing hand-soap. The fridge was cold when we had arrived. The fireplace in the living room takes some time to figure out to start it since the instructions are useless but it does work, but the fireplaces in the bedrooms do not work. The wooden décor is a nice touch to make things feel cozy. We stayed there for 2 days and 3 nights. There is a bunch of dead grasshoppers around the doorways, which is probably due to some bug spray. On the 1st night, we noticed some raccoon visiting our deck as we had just finished bbqing. On the 2nd night, we were grilling food when 2 black bear cubs surprised us with a visit. The bears ate some of the food and dragged the entire filled garbage can with them. We were not injured, but we were terrified. The next morning, we notified the rental company about the bears, but they just told us that bear activity is high around this time of year(early September). We didn’t dare go out to the deck anymore at night and so, we were not able to take advantage of the hot tub. The view isn’t that great, no mountain view, just trees. There is a Dollar General store about 5 mins away if you need to get anything. Verizon data service works there, but not T-mobile. No wifi either.

We stayed in the Bear Bottoms cabin and it was very beautiful. well maintained, stocked kitchen and a lovely view. Comfy bed and furniture. The roads were a bit challenging to get to the cabin. but hey, what can you expect in the mountains? We made it in my Honda civic. It was very secluded and quiet. had a nice patio with a nice view of the mountains. the Aardvark staff were very helpful. They helped us with whatever we needed. We would stay with Aardvark again!

Ptiin on the Ritz, what a beautiful cabin. Luxurious and spacious. Great views of the mountain. The only problem is it’s hard to find in the dark. Aarvark does not have a switch board so get all the info befire you go.

We stayed at Bear Foot Woods cabin and it was pretty nice. *Pros: Clean, cold A/C, fully stocked kitchen, secluded, relaxing, great hot tub, fun games. *Cons: Only 5 towels/washcloths for 5 people for an entire week leaving us no option but to do several loads of laundry(bring your own detergent), one of the beds was old and uncomfortable(I didn’t sleep in the other but I got a «eh» when I asked how it was). LOTS of steps, lots. There are about 25 steps to climb to get to the main level, which nearly sent my aging mother into a breathing fit. We had a great time and would choose Aardvark Cabins again but not this particular cabin.
