Best bang for your buck! Pretty tasty for theme park food and the service was fast. You can spend $ 16 dollars and have an all you can eat buffet or pay $ 10-$ 20 to eat two corn dogs and an order of fries. Take your pick :)

Money! Money! We went here 20 years ago and the catfish were jumping out of the crick into the frying pan. This place has passed its prime! Fried chicken less than warm but nit terrible bad! The cat fish turned into upscale tea. The veggies and salad bar us good! Price not to bad! Desserts low bid! It’s not the Dolly quality but money money! If it doesn’t make money it doesn’t keep the quality? We were one of the first in at 11 and the quality was mediocre at best! Biscuits were hard and dry ! People great !

if you are starving and inside Dollywood this is a great place to stop. $ 15 for all you can eat and beverage is included! so if you have a souvenir cup be sure to take your beverage with you out the door in it! if you aren’t really that hungry find another place to go. Very friendly staff and quickly service your needs. lets get to the food! I did attempt to sample a little of everything offered and here is how we viewed it. fried chicken– crispy and has a nice flavor of just salt and pepper. not overly greasy or overly breaded. what we sampled was not dried out taco bar– nice flavor on the meat. I did NOT like the«salsa» provided way to much black pepper so dont dig down in the bottom to get yourself some of the tomatoes. we made a taco salad out of it salad bar has nice selections of toppings and several normal dressings, italian, blue cheese, ranch and thousand island hot section: green beans were nicely flavored and appeared canned roasted tomato soup was awesome! and I NEVER like tomato soup. you could tell this was made from fresh tomatoes with little seasoning other than a little salt and pepper. mac n cheese– blah runny cheese that tasted fake Salisbury steak– again blah– not freshly made and just unappealing buttered noodles– just OK– needs gravy mashed potatoes and gravy– nice texture and flavor cabbage– nice flavor and texture desserts: the chocolate cake was moist and tasty and of course soft serve icecream is always a plus on a hot day! overall this was a decent place to fill your belly after a long day of walking around in the heat. The sweet tea is SUPERSWEET. So you might want ½ & ½ if you’re like me & just like mildly sweet tea

I guess for theme park food it was okay but not better than that. Pretty much generic blah food. Not much of a choice, chicken was dry. Taco bar did not have taco shells, only chips, shredded cheese, meat, lettuce. Loved Dollywood but would not eat here again.

Good people offering good service with decent food. The staff were super! Ok taco bar. Casual – almost family style dining. Tables are separate, but might as well have been connected. Really enjoyable interactions with the staff and customers. Stuffing topped with chicken pot pie gravy is especially good. Not bad for an amusement park!

BOO!!! Overpriced cheaply prepared slop! We spent over $ 70 to eat for a family of four.(our two young adult kids ate perhaps $ 3 worth.) The cost of our meal compared to the price we paid for tickets to dollywood. The only option we found out, after standing in line for 30 minutes, was a buffet. The price we paid was $ 1 more per person than what was advertised outside. When we got to our table, there lay a sign letting us know that, «gratuity is not included in price you pay.» What? This is a buffet, overpriced at that, and you expect us to tip on top of that, as well as the highway robbery sales tax that Tn. drops on you. Better food at cracker barrel for ¼ of the price. Price gouging at its best!

t The food was terrible. Chicken was dry, Salisbury steak tasted like the first Swanson TV dinner, corn on the cob was soggy and the rest of it was bland at best. There are so many great restaurants in this area that this is unforgivable for Dollywood.

We hail from the land of theme park buffets(Orlando), so our expectations were high. Overall, I thought this was a solid buffet for a very fair price. The food was tasty, often replenished, there was plenty of variety, and our server is did an excellent job. Highlights: salad bar had plenty of fresh options, the fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and moist, and the taco bar was a fun option. The desserts were the only area that lacked, save the calories for something else!

I went to Aunt Granny’s during Dollywood’s Christmas season last year and I am already planning on returning again this December. Great southern food served in a buffet with very friendly service. Lots of holiday themed food like ham, stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce, etc. While $ 16 per person may be a lot for the area, for this city slicker it is a steal! Great desserts as well, my only complaint was that I had to duck out of Dolly’s Christmas Carol early to take care of some business if you know what I mean. I can’t wait for Christmastime in Dollywood again!

Not at all impressed — Service was good but the food was just bad, Cornbread and biscuits were hard as a rock the chicken was bland and the fish which are actually fish sticks were just nasty. $ 15.00 Buffett in a park or not should have better food

Since most other reviewers seem to have been born without tastebuds, I figured it would be nice to give an accurate review. My family absolutely loves Aunt Granny’s. This is our number one stop as DollyWood season pass-holders. Other buffets cannot compare. The best fried chicken in the world lives here and everyone fights over it. The other foods are deliciously made with a home-cooked, southern theme. We fight over the opportunity to come. Golden Corral disappointed us compared to this. One of our favorites. Absolutely worth a visit.

The fried chicken wasn’t bad but the crazy chicken lady that runs around the place can get on your nerves in a hurry. She didn’t bother me but I could tell she was getting on some other folks nerves… takes away from the food.

My husband much prefers quantity over quality so he would have given this five stars! :) The fried chicken was pretty good, the rest was about what you’d expect from an Old Town Buffet but at twice the price. The service was fantastic, though, and for that reason I’d come back again. Overall a great place if you want to get stuffed and get out of the rain/heat/noise/whatever of the theme park for a bit!

My husband & I came here to eat during our visit to Dollywood. This is an ‘all you can eat’ buffet and brags that it offers«southern» food. The lunch prices had gone up and was $ 15/pp. We paid it and were seated almost instantly. The food was mostly fried chicken and things of that nature. I don’t think I ate $ 15 worth of food especially since I can’t eat a ton in one sitting. But I suppose having a ‘buffet’ of choices was better than paying $ 8 for a hot dog and not being able to go for seconds.

Three stars may be a bit generous– but I had to take into consideration the fact that a) this is theme park food, and b) it’s all-you-can-eat theme park food. Aunt Granny’s is an all-you-can-eat buffet, featuring mostly Southern items like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, cabbage, mac n’ cheese, biscuits, cornbread etc., plus a few random items, like spaghetti, and tiny hot dogs. In terms of quality, Aunt Granny’s was somewhat spotty. At best, think Golden Corral. At worst, think Golden Corral on a really bad day. GENERALLY speaking, most things I sampled were inoffensive, but not great. A few things were just plain bad– i.e. stale biscuits, dry, crunchy noodles. Lunch was $ 15.99, which included a beverage, but not gratuity. «In real life» this would be an incredibly overpriced disappointment, but I guess in theme park land it’s a fair price for a buffet lunch. I would probably do a «quick service» stand over this next time, but if you want to sit down somewhere air conditioned and stuff your face, I suppose Aunt Granny’s isn’t a terrible option if your expectations aren’t set too high.

It seemed to me that the focus at Aunt Granny’s was on quantity and variety. But the quality of the food was only«good». For the price, I was hoping for«great». The rolls were stale, too. For the money I would recommend instead enjoying food that Dollywood is exceptional at such as steak sandwiches by the big fountain and BBQ around the park. The employees were nice as you’d expect from Dollywood where pretty much everyone is very nice.

We ate here for breakfast because we each got a free meal when we purchased our Dollywood tickets online. The breakfast buffet included bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, baked apples, grits, potatoes, and french toast sticks. It was all pretty mediocre, but it filled us up, and we weren’t complaining since we didn’t have to pay. If we did have to pay for the buffet, I might have felt a bit disappointed. The grits were flavorless and the biscuit was hard. I did like the french toast sticks okay. All in all, I think they could step up their game. Being a theme park restaurant doesn’t mean you can’t offer quality food.

We Fed 2 Adults and 2 Kids at a Dollywood Theme Park for 45 dollars. I think that’s great. We ate at «Aunt Granny’s All-You-Care-To-Eat lunch buffet», where we found a tasty selection of items including coleslaw, mixed greens salad, assorted fruits, biscuits, muffins, cream of vegetable soup or Chef’s selection, green beans, cooked cabbage, pinto beans, turnip greens, buttered corn, buttered noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, hand carved top round, cornmeal breaded fried fish, baked spaghetti and chicken and dumplings. For dessert, bread pudding, soft serve ice cream, sugar-free JELL-O, assorted cakes and pies. The meal also included hot and cold beverages, as well as apple and orange juice. Cost for Lunch was(including drink): Regular(Ages 12+) — $ 15.99 Child(Ages 4 – 11) — $ 7.99 The waitstaff was very friendly and the Buffet was so tasty~! I’ve said that before. We Recommend!
