Great local place for ice cream. I got the blueberry ice cream in a waffle cone. One scoop was like normal two scoops anywhere else. The waffle cone was fresh which was nice bc a lot of places they are too hard.

This place had really good soft serve! With a chocolate dip and homemade waffle cone! I mean… what more could you ask for? PUPPIES! There are pictures of dogs all over the place and cheeky humor on tee shirts if you need a souvenir.

There may be other ice cream joints but this one has the uniqueness of serving personal funnel cakes! Walk in and you’re hit with the aroma of that delish along with the soothing comfort of an ice cream shop.
Shakes, malts, and a bountiful selection of toppings are available.

Great tasting ice cream but not a very big selection to choose from. Plus, the store has a funky smell – I think it might be the funnel cakes.

Straight up, the best ice cream I’ve ever put my lips to.
So far, you Unilocal!ers have underrated Maddogs Creamery.
Small, local, quaint ice cream shop. No gawdy gimmicks, just bona freakin fide quality frozen deliciousness.
We tried 4 flavors tonight, a full scoop of each, and every one of them is the best I’ve had of that flavor. I mean I could wax poetic like a wine sommelier about this ice cream, y’all.
Blueberry pie: so good it’d make a monkey bite it’s mother!
Caramel pie: hints of coconut and still somehow amazing
Cookies ‘N Cream: best all time CnC
Columbian Café: rich, complex, sweet goodness
Look, the next time I’m around here, I guaran-damn-tee you that I’m coming back here!

After a day in the heat mini golfing next door at Lost Treasure, we decided to get some ice cream. We had a coupon in our cabin rental package so we decided to try it out.
Good atmosphere with cool AC. Great ice cream with huge scoops at reasonable prices! Extra toppings are cheap and tasty. Banana splits are fantastic here!

This place was packed when we arrived. We had a free cone coupon, so we checked it out after dinner. It was really good, creamy ice cream! And, even though we kept meaning to come back another night, we just never made it back down. We’ll be back on our next trip, though.
