Old Mill Creamery

Horrible. Not sure the ice cream the fellow reviewers had before but this ice cream is far from perfection! Chocolate chip cookie dough had no chocolate chips or cookie dough it was literally just vanilla ice cream and it was not good at all… it melted as soon as they served it! Flavor was not good and waffle cone tasted just as bad! No flavor to it either! Don’t waste your money! Had to throw most of our order out.

Amazing service and even better ice cream. Best brownie sundae I’ve ever had. So nice and friendly. Absolutely wonderful. One scoop is really three. Reasonably priced.

Awesome place. Had the waffle cone with two scoops, rocky road and bear claw! It was delish! And very reasonably priced! Very friendly atmosphere too!

Great little ice cream shop that’s conveniently located right off of the main strip down Parkway. We were greeted right away by two ladies. They told us they made their waffle cones and almost all their ice creams in their shop, which is impressive in a day where almost all food is processed. After having a couple of (free) samples of their flavors, we settled on their Birthday Cake flavor in a medium cup. Their medium size seemed to be 2.5 scoops! It was extremely delicious. Only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the price was different from what they displayed. We saw on the counter that a medium was $ 4, but instead we were charged $ 8+.

Awesome ice cream, great serving sizes, excellent service. My husband loves the coffee as well. Would highly recommend.

Make sure you’re really needing ice cream if you come to the Creamery! When you walk in you’re greeted with a huge blast of cold are and the smell of the coffee bar.
My fiancé LOVES ice cream so he is actually very judgmental of it. He got a scoop (which was the size of like 3 scoops!) of cookie dough on a sugar cone. I tried it and it was very good! I had a chocolate shake and it was so rich. I love chocolate but I’m not of a savory than a sweet person so I didn’t finish my ice cream.
The creamery would be a good choice in the summer when you need something yummy to cool off with!

This literally is as good as it gets. Almost perfection. Nothing is perfect but this creamery sure does come close. What I appreciate the most about The Old Mill Creamery is their diverse and unique flavors. There is something for everybody, and that doesn’t include your standard boring old «chocolanillaberry». Nope, I’m talking about flavors like Whiskey pecan, biscuits and honey, pumpkin praline, this ultra decadent chocolate overload flavor that is a dark chocolate base with fudge, chocolate brownie pieces, and chocolate cookie pieces. I was in creamery nirvana!
The staff was so pleasant, we ended up just chatting for 5 minutes, they accurately described the flavors to where i didnt rven really NEED to sample the flavors to understand what I was ordering. But i had to try the staff’s favorite because she was so nice! I ended up getting the Biscuits and Honey flavor because it spoke to my soul. It was smooth, lightly sweet, and had fluffy pieces of biscuits folded in. Divine!
Please come to this creamery, do yourself a solid and won’t be disapointed. You will rejoice!

Great service, great ice cream great prices great selections. Try the caramel candy or oatmeal cream pie!

Great ice cream and atmosphere. My husband and I both got the Oat Mill Crème Pie ice cream and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly too. We went around 7:30pm and there was a free concert going on on the lawn behind the Creamery.

Ok it’s hard for me to say this was the BEST ice cream I have ever had, but if I didn’t it would be a lie. I had the salted Carmel along with my wife and mother and we all said if we could buy this in a store we would. All 4 of us said this was the best ice cream we have ever had. The kids love any ice cream but this was something special. We will be back again.

After a long day at Dollywood, this was a much needed refreshment. And boy, did it hit the spot! The staff was as sweet as you would expect a true southerner to be, and provided a side of hospitality along with their delicious ice cream flavors.
I would most definitely recommend the Rocky Road. It was by far THE BEST I’ve ever had. The Banana Split was also quite impressive– both in flavor and in size.

Really, really good ice cream with several local flavors. The raspberries and strawberries soaked in moonshine overnight was spectacular. Head across the street to Old Forge Distillery for 10 thimble tastings of moonshine to wash it down!

First time coming here although we’ve been to the old mill tons of times. Fabulous butter pecan. Best I’ve ever had. All the ice cream is homemade and the portions are huge! They don’t sell it by the scoop, it’s either a cup or cone! Only $ 1 more for a waffle cone.

Cold, creamy, smooth ice cream. The Brown Butter Black Walnut combined some simply delectable flavors. The Old Mill Black Lantern Chocolate was so, so good with a rich, deep chocolate flavor and just a hint of coffee. Hot cha cha!

We had the misfortune of going here after a very large bus just stopped in so the flavors we wanted weren’t available.
However they made some substitutions for us and we got the waffle cone in the ice cream was absolutely fantastic.

Great fresh taste would recommend to anyone looking for a midday or evening treat, thy have a few table and chairs inside but my wife and I enjoyed ours in the rocking chairs outside.

It’ll do. The staff here is very sweet and helpful, and the ice cream is good. That being said, it didn’t blow my mind. I’ve had better. I got a scoop of butter pecan, which tasted fine, but was too gummy for me. This has taught me that only the Midwest knows how to do ice cream the right way.
On the plus side: anything is better than Baskin Robbins. :-)

Creamy, old fashion ice-​cream. The place was small but very clean and there was plenty of seating outside. I got the butter pecan and chocolate and both had a very noticeable milky taste compared to many other icecream parlors for a fantastic

Good ice cream, ok selection– really wanted a nice peanut butter chocolate but no luck, good amount– I shared with my little one and still had plenty, quite a few tables inside and out.
