Old Mill Pottery House Cafe and Grill

To start, they check you in by way of text and an app. It was cool to watch our place in line move up as we waited. More places need to do this.
The loaded potato chips were delicious. My wife and I split both the Carolina pulled pork and the whiskey burger. Both were excellent. I particularly loved the jalapeño corn pudding. Wow! Think jalapeño poppers in a dish.

We stopped here for lunch yesterday afternoon on a whim, mostly due to the fact that we adore the bigger Old Mill Restaurant across the street.
One word can best describe it… WOW! The service is excellent, the décor is simple but welcoming. They do the little things, like placing a vase of fresh flowers on each table. You don’t see that often.
I ordered the cup of soup and half club sandwich. Both of those were amazing. The Tomato Basil soup was great, as was my wife’s Loaded Potato Soup (which I stole a bite of, of course!) The complimentary fresh-​baked bread they bring out after you order was probably the best part, though. They sell it up next to the cashiers desk, just in case you wanted to know.
All of the food is presented on pottery made next door, which was another thing that blew my mind. I think I’m becoming an «Old Mill fanboy,» for good reason. If you eat anywhere in Pigeon Forge, make sure you eat here or the bigger Old Mill Restaurant across the street (or both! I did!)

This was my first time eating here and it was wonderful. My husband and I just happened to stop by for a quick lunch. I had the load potato soup with a salad and he had the tomato basil soup with half a club sandwich. We were quickly seated, drink orders taken and served a fresh loaf of bread. Everything was wonderful down to the fresh flowers on the table. I will remember this gem on our next trip.

This place far exceeded my expectations and I don’t give 5’s very often.
The fried green tomatoes were great. I had the burger. OMG. It was juicy, flavorful and delicious. The steak fries are seasoned and obviously hand cut today and amazing.
My wife got the spinach quiche. She gave me some and it was out of this world.
The server was very attentive and always there when my glass was half empty. The restaurant was packed with a 40 minute wait and WELL worth it.
I would highly recommend this spot and we might return even though we’re only here for a few days.

This was probably the BEST meal I have ever had in Pigeon Forge! Food was excellent and reasonably priced, service was perfect, was treated like a VIP! I travel Tennessee and Arkansas and will place this restaurant in the top 2 of places to eat. Locally owned with everything that I look for when traveling. Thank you for the delicious dinner! I will be back with my wife hopefully soon!

My wife and I ate here in November. We always stop by whenever we are in Pigeon Forge. The food is always good. In the two dozen times that I have eaten here, I have never had a bad meal. This time we had the homemade potato chips smothered in cheese and bacon with dipping sauce. Awesome. I had the chicken wrap and she had the quiche. Tasty, tasty stuff. Always good food and great service. Well worth the trip.

This place is so good. The smell of the fresh bread when you walk in is delicious. We visited for lunch. My husband ordered the triple club with pasta salad and I ordered the pimento cheese BLT. My sandwich was so good. My husband enjoyed his too but mine was better! We had carrot cake to split for dessert and it was tasty as well. We ended up buying a loaf of bread to take home. They also offer military discount. Excellent lunch spot and they have a fire pit out front that you can enjoy with mountain views.

A bit pricy but you do get a lot for what you pay for. Their menu is good olé traditional American dishes, just don’t expect anything too exotic.

This café sits in a beautiful spot! Right next to the old mill. They have a beautiful garden with outdoor dining. You can also see the mountains, stretching above the city, from your table.
And the food was to die for! I highly recommend the loaded potato chips and the whiskey porter burger. They were absolutely delicious.

The food was over and above what we expected.
I had the buttermilk chicken melt. The chicken was juicy and done to perfection.
The potato soup tasted just like my mom’s.
My boyfriend got a sirloin that was grilled just as ordered and half the price of steaks in Gatlinburg.
We will absolutely be back to this cozy place with high quality homestyle dishes!

Yummy! Ordered the BLT with pimento cheese and a fried green tomato. Only con was the chicken my son ordered was a little on the greasy side. Looking forward to go back to check out some other selections that they offer.

Great place for a sandwich and soup. I tried the whiskey bacon burger and was very pleased. Smells like fresh baked bread as soon as you walk through the door, which is always a welcomed scent.

Completely overwhelmed by deliciousness… pecan chicken and gumbo were both awesome… bread…there are no words to describe its perfection.

I found it to be just ok. I ordered the pecan fried chicken which was highly disappointing. I was glad the server never came back to ask me how it was because I really didn’t want to tell her I didn’t find it very good. The bread that came out before the meal was great as was the jalapeño corn pudding that I got on the side.
The service wasn’t all that impressive either. I’m not sure I’d go back.

Ate here for lunch the hamburgers and chicken salad are very good. From what I’ve heard in town from locals is this place is the best and everything on the menu is great. I just had a taste but judging from the crowd and peoples faces this place is legit. Cheap lunch deals so check it out. We will come back here every year

This place is by far our favorite must eat when in the Smokeys. Fresh baked bread is to die for as is everything we’ve tried so far! Don’t skip this place!

Great food, selection, location, setting, grounds, landscaping, value. Had soup & sandwich combo lunch ($ 8.99). Bread is delicious. Service prompt.

My favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg by far. Their menu is fairly diverse and they make everything with quality.
It’s a beautiful little restaurant with really great artisan touches in both the food and décor. My mom got the chicken livers and loved them. My dad got the loaded potato soup and declared it «delicious,» and this is coming from a selective eater.
In addition to that, they delivered fresh sourdough bread with whipped butter to our table, and it was so flavorful and tasty that I could’ve just eaten that on its own.
All in all, you really can’t go wrong with any of their food or deserts, and most of the time the wait is shorter than the original Old Mill Restaurant.

This place is a Pigeon Forge gem! If I lived here, we would be here all the time. We sat outside on the patio and listened to the water and saw the 1-​day old ducklings swimming around.
The quiche was incredible, the fresh fruit was very fresh and tasted great, the bread was amazing, and the carrot cake… come on! Make sure to get them to warm the carrot cake for a few seconds.
Over all, it was a GREAT experience. We’ll be here every time we come to Pigeon Forge.

This might be the best place I have ever eaten. Our group (a total of 6) ate here twice during our vacation to Pigeon Forge /​Gatlinburg. Just look at the pictures. We ordered all kinds of stuff. And it was ALL amazing. I don’t know what else I can say.
