Maybe I caught them on a bad night but quite disappointed in the quality of the food. Although the Sirloin was cooked perfectly, it was tough and lacking flavor.

One of my favorite places in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Great restaurant with local stories. Not a chain. Food is outstanding.

The food was good, the service could have been better. We waited an extraordinarily long time for our food. Albeit we were ordering to go, it appeared like we were less important. I counted 4 tables that were seated and received their food before us.

We had a fairly long wait with it being New Year’s eve weekend and we accepted the first available table which was in the bar area. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was just average. We ordered spinach dip which had a powdery texture and was not enjoyable. The best part was the bread bowl that it came in. I had a grilled chicken dish which was fairly tasty as well as the baked potato. It wasn’t very special though. Also, it was a tad pricey. It was an overall okay experience, doubt we’d go back.

Great atmosphere, reasonable wait for a holiday weekend, and food was very good. Best part of our visit was our waitress, Cassie. She gave great service, wonderful recommendations on the menu, and was very attentive. Great first visit and we will be back!

Food and service was excellent. We had the pepper jack cheese bites appetizer and I had fish and chips and the wife had french dip sandwich. The fish had a lot flavor and was very lightly battered and didn’t even taste fried there was no grease. Wife said the french dip was one of the best she has had. Décor and atmosphere was great and the waitress helped us with some spots to visit while we were here. Will definitely eat here again.

Parking lot and waiting area was packed but based on previous reviews it sounded like we could get in fairly fast. They told us about a 30 minute wait and it was probably closer to 15 minutes. Décor inside was like a nice historical steakhouse. The menu had something good everyone. Steaks, burgers, salads, pastas, fajitas and more! Our waiter was very nice and took care of us very well. The food was fantastic and filling and the prices were great. We’ll definitely be coming back when we are in Pigeon Forge again!

We decided to eat here because of all the great reviews. It’s ok, but it’s nothing that great. The food is really overpriced for what it is. The waitress is great, but the hostess is rude. Maybe it’s because we are from Asheville, NC, but I’m not impressed with the«country» atmosphere. It’s trying too hard to be a country steakhouse and it’s not doing that great of a job. I ordered the ribs which are good, but the slaw is bland. My husband ordered the burger which is dry and in desperate need of seasoning. Overall, not coming back.

We love this place. Every time the family and I come to Pigeon Forge we have to make a stop here. Great food and atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.

Good food. Great price. Quick service. Try the fried pepper jack cheese bites, they’re basically like spicy mozzarella sticks(but in bite size form). The sweet potato fries were really good with the cinnamon sugar dusting.

This place lives up to their years in business. The chicken fried chicken breast we not smothered in white pepper gravy but just enough to make it tasty. The mashed potatoes were delicious along with the homemade potato chips. All of this coupled with quiet atmosphere and an equally satisfied family earns the stars. I can’t wait to visit here again in the future.

We go to Pigeon Forge a lot and happened across J.T. Hannah’s Kitchen. We were blown away by the food. The staff is friendly and fast. The food is incredible and the prices are very affordable! They could easily charge much more, like the other area restaurants. We ordered the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo and the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo and they were both so good we couldn’t decide which was better. The sauce is made in house and is rich and creamy. They were both served with a slice of garlic bread that was perfectly toasted. The staff is prompt and friendly. We didn’t wait long for anything and they made sure we had everything we wanted. This restaurant is worth the trip all by itself!

Dined at this spot for an early dinner. Our large party of 15 was able to be seated immediately! Since we were all first-timers, the waitress went through a nice overview of the restaurant and the menu items. Our appetizers and main dishes were delicious and delivered promptly! The waitress was very attentive! She kept drinks filled and checked on us frequently. Overall, a great experience!

Yes! Yes! Yes! This place has got it! Super friendly, knowledgeable servers and unbelievable great food! Our server was Michael and he is awesome! He made great suggestions with the menu and also activities for us to do while in town, which is always helpful while on vacation. I got the black bear burger and it was wonderful. A mixture of my two favorite things; burger & roast beef! Smoothered with onions and mushrooms, swiss cheese melted with a side of au jus, i just cannot stop thinking about it!!! i also got a side order of sweet potato fries which were the best I’ve ever had. They had a slight taste of brown sugar, i will probably sneak back over there before we leave town. My brother got the chili burger and i have to say it did not look pretty at all, but he said it was great! The ribeye was very tender and i also sampled the cobb salad, it seems as though you cannot go wrong with anything you order here.

Before I start my review, I will say that we went right before close. So that may have been part of the issue with the service to our table. However, I feel like our table really wasn’t rushed as much as it was neglected. I ordered the Black Bear burger, and it fully lived up to the description. It was cooked to medium as requested(awesome, because a lot of places to tend to overlook burgers), it did have all the toppings, and it was juicy and tender. However, the person sitting to my right and had ordered a French Dip and got no Au Jus. Since my entrée came with that, I just gave it to him until I could get more from the waitress. That ended up taking about 10 minutes, along with refills we had requested before we even had our food delivered. One of my other friends had ordered a bowl of chili and a baked potato, and never got the potato. He wasn’t upset and didn’t even mention it to the server until it still showed up on the bill. My food was great, and I would totally eat there again. Just not sure I could convince the rest of my party to do so.

Based on the reviews from many others(as well as friends) we decided to check this location out for dinner. Many of the reviews mentioned how good the ribs are here. I’m not sure where these folks are used to eating ribs but mine left a little to be desired. The portion presented was good, ir was the flavor overall that left me a little dissappointed. The house made mashed ‘taters were great and the baked beans had a nice kick to them. We started off with an BBQ Nachos appetizer which was VERY good. I already knew I wanted ribs do my dinner choice was made before we even arrived however the girlfriend, against the servers advice, ordered the open face roast beef. One bite and she knew she’d made a mistake. The server recognized that she didn’t like it and asked what replacement she would like. The second attempt was met with success as she chose the Hawaiian/Teriyaki chicken. Overall, I can’t say that this was a BAD experience. The feel for the place was really cool, the décor was neat, it was CLEAN, and the server, Dee, was FANTASTIC. I think my expectations for ribs are higher than the average person which led to my disappointment. I can’t say that I wouldn’t recommend the place, but I DEFINITELY wouldn’t recommend the open faced roast beef and I’d be leary to recommend the ribs. The BBQ nachos, on the other hand, were VERY good.

Came here after finding out that Bennetts pit BBQ was slammed. Really had a BBQ hankering, and I must say this place did not disappoint. The Louisiana ribs were easily the top 3 best ribs I ever had! They were fall off the bone good. The baked beans were also full of flavor, but I would have to say that their cole slaw needs some love. The service was decent, not the best not the worst. I have to say this place is definitely worth it if your in the mood for a great rack of ribs!

During my time of a day of go karting and putt putt, we needed a place to eat before we set off to the swim hole on Little River. As usual, my friend sprung on me to pick out a place last minute without any planning. When I knew this, it was rough, because look when I look for a group of people it gets a lot more difficult: What does everyone like? Who’s feeling what? etc. When it’s just me I go for whatever and list the first thing that comes to mind and my craving is pretty much easily satisfied. Finally we just got in the car and just drove around. My friend stopped at Cheddar’s, but right across a couple of streets there sat J T Hannah’s. I’ve been to Cheddar’s, but never this restaurant. Of course I told them to just go here instead and try something new! Them knowing my obsession of trying new things, because we went eating together in DC and they really enjoyed it, they agreed. J T Hannah’s gives an ambiance of a good ol’ American Restaurant. Steak House-esque, Texas, the west, meat galore. When I looked at the menu I was surprised that I saw some Italian dishes. I didn’t get that though. So, what did I order? Big Al’s Chili Burger. Oh. Yes. This day particularly just gave me a feeling of a good nice hearty burger, and since I’m from NC, the chili is a «more please» from me. The burger was awesome, tasty, juicy, and definitely hit the spot for me. I would come back here my next time and try another burger since the chili burger definitely did it for me. I would recommend to come here if you’re in the area and looking for some good ol’ american dishes. I would probably stay away from the«pastas» as that just doesn’t fit the décor and the restaurant’s theme. It’s sort of like going to a BBQ place to eat sushi or something like that… umm, no.

We got out of Dollywood at 9pm Saturday night and my kids said they wanted«American» food for a change and suggested this place, which we had considered on a prior trip. It was right by our hotel so I agreed to go there. We were seated immediately which surprised us all. Our server greeted us right away and took our orders as soon as we were ready. What none of us could believe was how fast our food came out. My catfish was great and the other three were pleased. Service was very good. The only reason for only four stars is the lack of vegetarian choices. My wife had to settle for a salad and baked potato. She claims she didn’t mind but there should be something more than just that for vegetarians.
