Typical touristy eating establishment. Service was great but the food was lacking in taste and quality. I ordered the fish tacos and they were basically a single fish stick I serve my children except covered with cole slaw. Price is what you would expect in a tourist location high.

Stopped in on December 30th, 2015 after a long day of driving from Wisconsin. Got in around 9:40 and was seated right away. What is very confusing is that their website says they close at 11 but google says they close at 10. When I called and asked, the girl originally said 10, I pointed out the website and she casually said it was wrong like thats normal and said that they close between 10 and 11, it just depends on how busy they are. On one hand, it makes sense, but on the other, it can be very confusing. When we got to our table, they sat us somewhat close(4 or 5 tables back) to the live music which was extremely loud, I could barely hear myself think let alone hear our waiter. The music was good don’t get me wrong it was just louder than necessary. Our waiter was nice enough but you could tell he was ready for his shift to end. We ordered Margaritas which were pretty good. I got a chicken caesar salad and my Dad got a burger. He really liked his meal and didn’t have any complaints. My salad was nice and big. The chicken was good for the most part, but the dressing was a tad bit over powering(I didn’t even use the whole cup they gave me). It wasn’t the best Ive had but it wasn’t the worst. For the most part I enjoyed my food. However, I have to say the food was overpriced in my opinion as many others on here have mentioned. A little while after we got our food, the live music ended so we were able to enjoy a good chunk of our meal listening to music that was at a normal and appropriate noise level. Overall, it wasn’t the best Margaritaville we have eaten at but it had good enough food and drinks that we enjoyed our visit, just don’t know if we will visit again. At this point, I don’t recommend to anyone looking for a good Margaritaville experience. I have been to many Margaritavilles in the Midwest and one in Florida and they have all been fabulous. This one was a disappointment to be honest.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. I was dragged there quite unwillingly. The wait was an hour. The fish smell was overpowering. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was not cooked well and tasted horribly. They allowed me to order chicken tenders off the kids menu, which I thought would revive the experience. No. The tenders were hot but gross, and both meals came with cold fries. All of this was accompanied by terrible music. I can safely say Margaritaville is my personal hell.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. My daughter wanted guacamole, so we went. No fresh guacamole, limited menu(everything on one page), horrible food, high prices, many upset stomachs. The waitress said they don’t do those fancy things like in other Margaritavilles. BTW, daughter ordered a burger and she couldn’t eat half of it. Looked like a frozen patty. Wife and I ordered fish sandwiches that had more breaking than fish. Extremely horrible meal in the Smokies. Alamo, Calhoun’s or Chops are better choices.

Worst food I’ve had in a restaurant. The lettuce was brown and the shrimp was overcooked… like eating rubber.

You definitely pay for the name and atmosphere here. The food was disappointing, but not as much as the bill. Nothing is worse than over-paying for bad food.

«A state of mind.» Always try to stop at Margaritaville wherever we are. This location did not disappoint. The drinks were pricey but on point and we shared the huge nachos between 4 of us for lunch. It was Thanksgiving and we didn’t want to over indulge before our reservations for dinner. We love Margaritaville.

Atmosphere was great just what you would expect from Jimmy Buffet, wait staff was great…2 kids meals, a burger, fish tacos, and a steak $ 150 including tip. Food was nothing special compared it to chili’s way overpriced.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Good service. Love the balloon hats and the people that made ours got it perfect. Could work on the adult drinks, they tasted good but didn’t have much alcohol.

The place is built well. the ambience is great i would say. but the food does not hold up at all. the margarittas are not the best(i hardly doubt there was any alcohol in them at all, more like mocktails). and it is expensive.

Good food but SUPER expensive! We spent $ 75 on just lunch. It was good but not $ 75 good. Felt like they were very overpriced.

As Parrotheads we live checking out Margaritaville whenever we travel. This new one in Pigeon Forge is very well done with a great outdoor patio with built in fire pit bar. There was a live band on the patio while we were there and we always end up taking home half of the volcano nachos that we share. We will definitely be back whenever we are staying at our timeshare in Gatlinburg.

Came here twice during my visit to pigeon forge. Had to sit at the bar both times because the wait was at least an hour to get a table. The customer service at the bar was great. I enjoyed the last mango in Paris Margarita. Very refreshing and not too girly for a guy to have lol! I also got to try the 5 o clock somewhere drink, and that was very good as well. The food was good, but honestly overpriced. My fiancé and I ordered 2 drinks in total, a quesadilla appetizer, and two burgers and the bill was $ 70 Honestly I could of paid much less at Chili’s, Fridays or the like for the same type of food. This was the only down side to my visit at this restaurant.

Loved this place for the good food and atmosphere! Even the prices were pretty good considering the fame of the place. The cheese curds were great! The burgers were delicious and cooked to order. Five beers(2 draft, 4 bottles) were 21 dollars… Pretty good considering this is a tourist destination. The band that was playing was great and really worked in the crowd. They also had a great atmosphere and a fun environment. People sang. And not just the band! Great time! Great food in a town where it’s hard to find something different. The balloon girl on stilts is a little odd but really good at making balloon art!

Hour and a half wait. Hour and a half to eat. Would not serve me a drink because my drivers license had expired three weeks ago. Everyone else at my table enjoying their mixed drinks. Seriously. It’s not like I’m trying to rent a car. I just want a margarita. Get over yourselves. Jimmy Buffett himself would have served me that drink. Your other six hundred competitors would not hesitate to make sure I had a great experience. Food very average and not even close to worth what they charge for it. Ordered my son the mac and cheese kids meal for $ 7 and they seriously brought out a gigantic bowl of Kraft Mac and cheese. Would never go back. Over hyped. Over priced. Over everything. Could not have been more disappointed.

We came to Margaritaville around 8 to eat dinner. After standing in a rather long line just to put our name in, we were told it would be an hour to an hour and a half until we were seated. We didn’t really mind because this is typical for a tourist city on a Saturday night, plus we had never been to «The Island» before and decided to explore the shops. The environment here is unlike any other. We forgot for a moment that we were at the beach! It was easy to forget the we were waiting to eat. It only took 40 minutes to be seated. If you’ve ever been to a Margaritville, then you know the atmosphere that comes with it. It’s the same here! We had a great waitress and enjoyed the dancing, balloon hats, and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. I only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of options on the menu. It is considerably smaller than other locations.

We came here over the weekend and had fun. Went straight to bar. Great knowledgeable talkative staff. They were very friendly and told us about the drinks. The drinks were fantastic and put me in a good mood. Although, my friend got on to me about wanting to drink more. So, she made me quit to go on that 200 foot tall ferris wheel. This was my first time here visiting and this whole area is new. So I highly recommend coming here next time you come to Pigeon Forge. In summary, come here first after parking in huge parking lot down the road. You can get on a tram there and they will bring you right up to this place. I will be coming back.

Yes it’s a tourist trap I know but since the food and service were very good I thought I’d give it props. The margaritas are very tasty and pack a nice punch. We had the fried fish and it was battered to perfection. The atmosphere is very festive and feels like you really are on a tropical island.
