Pam was phenomenal! I’ve never met a waitress so happy — she looks like she actually enjoys her job LOL. she tried her best to keep up with our sweet tea because we went through it like nobody’s business. food was excellent as well.

Not sure what happened here. It took 45 minutes for a burger, soup and club sandwich to arrive. When it did, soup cold and salty and sandwich ice cold and barely toasted. Manager softly said he was sorry and then blamed it on the new cooks. Don’t they have a training program?

On late of the night in Pigeon Forge we have decided to go over at Denny’s as almost every restaurants were closed that’s closest to the hotel and Denny’s were luckily open as we were looking for something to eat for dinner so Denny’s was it. It was five of us as a group went over to Denny’s to order some dinner, I decided to order something that wasn’t on the menu so I ordered gravy on the biscuits with sun-up eggs on the side along with hash browns. The rest of the group ordered some kinds of dinner-type foods so I was the only one who ordered breakfast for dinner I believe and everyone’s foods were expensive but mine weren’t as it only costed me four dollars for my plate. The gravy on top of the biscuits were very delicious, probably one of the best gravy & biscuits I have ever ate in my life because they are my favorite foods of all-time, I wouldn’t exactly say it’s my overall favorite because my favorite is my mother’s but I can definitely say that the Denny’s gravy & biscuits is probably #2 gravy & biscuits I have ever ate along with their delicious sun-up eggs and hash browns which were fried to the perfection. Once I took a bite of the gravy & biscuits, that was it and I was out there in the dreamland so that says a lot of how much I really loved their gravy & biscuits. Now to the service, the waitress who served us were very friendly but what bothers me the most was that an employee in black shirt which I am assuming either a supervisor, manager or chef who constantly following the waitress every time the waitress came back to us to make sure that our dinner were pleasurable. That employee who were constantly following the waitress that serves us, just stood there staring at us with a natural face and by that I mean just standing there with straight face while staring at us while the waitress checking up on us or bringing over some foods or refilling our drinks and other things which was annoyingly uncomfortable

I’m not sure what has changed since the last reviews, but our experience at this Denny’s was great(as great as Denny’s gets). The manager came by several times and helped clear empty plates away, she was very nice. Our waitress was also prompt and nice, food came out hot and just right. Place was very clean. Granted it was 1am but it was still fairly busy and everyone was pleasant.

Denny’s foods are edible at 10 o’clock at night. We were starving after getting out of Smokey Mountain Opry. Denny’s foods will do you in okay, if there’s absolutely no place else to go to that have a waitress. The waitress was nice enough, looks like she has been there for 12 hours plus, but she was fast and got our ordered straight and correct, our drink was always full. I’m giving this a four stars just because, not a lot of place are open late in Pigeon Forge, and from the standpoint of being really hungry, the foods was better than most. Even though Pigeon Forge is no longer dry, not a lot of feasible bar seems to be fun to visited. So, stop at Denny’s if you’re strolling late at night, and you don’t want another burger from Burger King.

When you go to a Denny’s you expect a specific kind of experience. Nothing outstanding, but it’s simple enough that they should be able to get it right well enough that you leave full, satisfied, and not much lighter in the wallet. Service was slow. I blame this on the kitchen, since when we got the food itself, it was all right. But the waitress never bothered to clear the table of empty stuff, so we were left with a tall pile of stuff by the end of the meal. To be fair, she did keep our drinks full, which was nice. But I was looking for the table to be clearer. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the manager gave me a discount when I told her how disappointed I was in the experience, which was the worst I’d had in Tennessee or Kentucky.

Don’t even think about it! Always understaffed and service is horrible. Food always comes out cold and usually order is wrong. Always blame problems on staffing.
