I went on 6÷2÷16. I found out about this nail salon from a facebook post. I try to support minority and small businesses and I was intrigued by a nail salon owned and operated by black women. I walked in and was seen in a relatively short amount of time. When I sat in the chair for my pedicure, I was offered either water or wine to drink which was impressive. Destiny performed my pedicure. She was very friendly and extremely gentle albeit a tad bit odd. I enjoyed the camaraderie between the employees and I liked that I understood what they were saying even better. The tools were kept in barbicide so I knew they were clean. I didn’t understand the use of a nail file to scrape my heels, but it was effective. The salon is pricier than I am used to, but I enjoyed my time here and will return.

If I could I would give this place zero stars. I had recently bought a Groupon, scheduled and confirmed an appointment, showed up for the appointment and business was closed. No one from the business even contacted me or apologized. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

This was the WORST mani and pedi I’ve ever got! UNSANITARY. I was in the salon for 3 hours I was a walk in, but the appointment ahead of me HAD to be there for at least 4 hours if not more sadly for basic polish and mani, pedi. If you go here request your price UPFRONT because I was supposed to get a fill in(she filed most of the damn previous acrylic I had on my nails just to apply a full set and try to charge me for a full set). My mani fill wasn’t even fully covering all of my nail. The Nail tech who claimed to be a tech for 20 yrs was only using hand sanitizer to clean her tools!(which makes bacteria worse) Within a few days my nails began to Crack and peel. Then my pedi was horrible. She used a cheap dollar store foot file and didn’t remove any dead skin. In the end I was over charged for things I didn’t get(gel is NEVER in a powder form). We negotiated and agreed to a price but then she goes to a male owner and changes the price like we never negotiated.(which I think she just wanted to add a tip in she knew she wasn’t getting) Just a BAD vibe. I love to support black owned business but it’s sad that it’s hard to find the ones who don’t only care about money and overcharge just because of lack of clients. I don’t like sneaky business. I will be sticking to 4 – 5 star nail salons from now on!!!
