Ok here is what you are going to to. Go get yourself a couple bottles of white wine, grab some friends and get over there. Everything is made from scratch and is amazing and high quality. The meat is halal which means it is fed right and not filled with hormones. The hummus is to die for. The gyro meat is from scratch and the falafel is made from real vegetables. You make think you are paying a bit meal but without a doubt you are getting two meals out of the giant portions I remember going here a couple years back, and they were the nicest people. I wanted to market for them cause the food was that good. Today was just the same. The nicest people even telling my girlfriend to use another chair because it is more comfy. You dont always have to go to montclair or a place that serves alcohol. Bring your friends. The service will be from the owners. They will tell you about what you are eating because they just made it. It is as fresh as it gets and a fulfilling experience. Go to this hidden gem and support your local businesses. They believe in high quality ingredients, excellent service, and know that doing this will keep you coming back so try it today. There is

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I was so lucky to stumble on it today. The food is absolutely outstanding, the service makes me feel like I am in a fancy restaurant, and it is a unbeatable value. Food: the falafel, hummus, gyro, lamb, chicken, and branzino fish are amazing! They are succulent and tasty you can taste the freshness in the food. It is made with such love that I feel at home and this has been one of the best meals I have ever ate. They are juicy and so flavorful, the rice especially. I cannot say enough about how good the food was. All I can say was that I wish I had found this place earlier because Ive been missing out! Service: Comparable to a Michelin Star restaurant. Our waiter Anna was exceptional and made our experience even better. She was amazing and even gave us special treats like Baklava! The service made us feel special and at home. If you have not been here yet do not waste away any more time and get here as soon as you can! I promise you will not regret it! This restaurant is spectacular and I just wish I had found this earlier! Come here now!!!

I ordered take out from this place. The food is really good but my biggest issue was that the portions are super small! Their lunches specials need to be of bigger portions. Granted I am not a big person and I don’t eat a lot but they literally gave you a heaping bowl of rice and once small piece of doner kabob. I will still hungry after that meal. I wont be ordering from here anymore considering there portions are not worth their prices.

My girlfriend and I go here for casual meals and the food is terrific. Fresh and juicy just the way we like it. Chicken kabob is always cooked to perfection and the hummus is extremely creamy. The service is impeccable and friendly. We have been there many times and will keep frequenting this place. Thanks, Mike!

There is a reason that every review for this restaurant is 4 or 5 stars. The food is fantastic. Always fresh and always delicious. I’ve personally had the chicken and shish kabobs and both were cooked to perfection. The shepherds salad is also great and it tastes like the vegetables were picked within hours of serving. In addition I highly recommend their falafel and hummus as appetizers. The restaurant is owned by a single family and they are always super polite and nice to their customers. Only small downside is atmosphere isn’t great for eating in so I usually take out. I’ll be coming back for the foreseeable future.

Was so tough to narrow down what to order, and we over ordered. Everything was so good it was hard to try it all and pick a winner. I can’t wait to go again. Small place but big taste. Jalapeño humus is a must. Awesome falafel. Can’t remember all the stuff. All was great. Only thing I personally wasn’t a fan of(and never have been) was the stuffed grape leaves, but that is just me, the wife said it was a really good ones. If you are a true crazy REALYOGURT lover, try the yogurt drink. I think it is made with«in house made» yogurt.

Wonderful lunch! Came with my husband and two daughters. Everything was fresh and delicious. Pita bread came out warm and was replenished without us having to ask. Service was nice and friendly. A little had to find, it’s a small place in a tiny strip mall. Can’t wait to go back!

Great little place, had the lentil soup and the spicy Beyti kebab on a cold winter evening, both hit the spot. Was in from out of town on business with a colleague from Belgium, and when we left the restaurant we realized we had a flat tire. Luis, the owner’s father, came out to help us — he basically took over, saying he could do it faster. Sometimes you need your faith in humanity restored, and that happened to me tonight. Great people and great food!

Ok, lets just start off with this place is a hole in a corporate center, Impossible to see from the street, you would never see if you didn’t know where it is, small eating area. all things that kill a business. that being said, The food is AWSOME!!! I have eaten from this place many of times and tried a few thing. the fish(whole Fish) has great flavor, gyro meat so tender and tasty, now my favorite hand down is the green hummus(WOW!!!) I want this place to make it, both owners seem like very nice people that have a vision and plan on making it work. the dining experience is not fancy by any means, but they people are very nice!!!

I ordered lunch for the first time today from this restaurant. If the food is as consistently good as it was today, I am a customer for life! And Anna is super friendly — which always is a plus. Their red pepper sauce and hummus are dangerously addictive. I’m so excited to have a place to order from in this area with quality food.

The food here is great and very reasonably priced. We ate at Mike’s last Saturday night with our two kids. Don’t let the location(tiny strip mall on Rt 46 in a pretty remote area) or the small size of the restaurant scare you off. We are big fans of Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine and Mike’s didn’t disappoint. The kabobs are amazing. The chicken and the lamb were both delicious. Amazing seasoning and cooked to perfection; the lamb was so tender and was cooked medium rare, just as we asked for. The rice was also excellent and the kabob platter comes with a little salad on the plate as well, which was also very tasty. The adana kabob was awesome as well(we had it over bread with the yogurt sauce and also had the lamb over bread with yogurt sauce, but we all preferred the regular kabob platters with the rice and salad). We really enjoyed the mixed cold appetizers(hummus, baba gannoush, the slightly spicy red dip(don’t remember the name but it was great) and grape leaves(all homemade). The dips aren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they are excellent and the grape leaves are so much better than the ones you normally get from places that buy them in bulk. The shepard salad was good, but a bit too vinegary for our taste(could have used a little more feta cheese to even it out). The owners are amazing; very nice and super friendly. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and the chef’s wife served us our food and spoke with us for a while about the restaurant and her family. The only thing keeping me from giving Mike’s 5 stars is the pita bread. It is right out of the bag and not warmed up enough. This place would be 5 stars if they made their own Turkish bread(rather than just having pita) but you can’t have everything. We will definitely be back, many times. We wish they were open for dinner Sunday because this would be a go to place for us to take the kids. If you love authentic, great tasting food at very reasonable prices, you’ll love Mike’s.

We just moved to Pine Brook a month ago and we’ve already had their delicious food twice. The first time, I placed an order for delivery(which was placed at 1pm) and Anna herself, delivered my order. She was on time and very sweet. The food was fresh, made to order and left us wanting more(even if we were stuffed). We ordered the chicken and shish kabob platters and green hummus, fried eggplant and baklava for dessert. My advice is to not order the baklava for delivery since it is served warm and ended up steaming inside the container, it was still tasty though. The hummus wasn’t as spicy as I anticipated, even my 7mo baby could eat it. Plenty of pita bread arrived with the order as well. We went to the restaurant today and were just as pleased. It occurred to us that the other diners were regulars because Anna knew them by name. We met her baby boy and we chatted with her throughout our meal. Unfortunately, they were out of eggplant but we still enjoyed everything we ate — we tried the Adana kebab and falafel today and it was so yummy! I can see why there are regulars here… well, Mike’s just earned 2 more!

Really very good! I tried the green hummus and it was so good. Gyro platter good also. I recommend this place and I don’t often think places a that good. It’s an unassuming location and the interior is okay but I really enjoyed the food and quick service. I’ll be back!

I have been to the best restaurants in Turkey and Mediterranean restaurants around the area. The food that the star chef provides here is precisely cooked to perfection. How can you cut into a piece of chicken and have it open up like your cutting heated butter?! I still don’t understand that part, but I do understand that they know what they are doing here! Take my word and try it out, you will not be disappointed. As for the service, it goes hand in hand with the food. One word, phenomenal. Ana is extremely nice and projects her passion for this business with her kind heart. Since I have discovered this place, I haven’t eaten anywhere else. The romantic dinner she set for my girlfriend and I was one of a kind. A big thank you to Mike’s Fusion!

We were driving down Rt.46 west looking for a place just like this! We spotted Mike’s Fusion Mediterranean Grill across the highway(east-bound side of 46) and it seems like an oasis after passing furniture store after furniture store, chain restaurants, and fast food joints! We had the green hummus which has jalapeño and cilantro blended in with the usual ingredients. It was served with warm pita bread. Anna(who was so nice!!) told us they make it to order! It’s that fresh! The hummus tasted great and it had a little kick compared to the typical stuff. She also brought us a small cup of baba ganoush to try and it was a bit smokey, creamy and addictive. We both had the chicken kebab platter which included rice, salad, grilled tomato and a grilled long hot pepper. The chicken was grilled, seasoned well, tender and incredibly juicy! We ate every bite of food. Definitely looking forward to making a return especially for the green hummus! Also feel free to BYOB.

4.5÷5 Me and my brother ended up here by chance looking for a healthy option on friday night that didn’t come from one of the mediocre diners lining route 46. In short, we were not dissapointed by this place. We each had the chicken kebab platters and shared an order of the green hummus. The hummus was extremely tasty and Anna(?) our server stated that they make each order of hummus to order with a mortar and pestal. What made the hummus green was fresh jalapeño and cilantro. It made for an interesting variation and one that I would definitely come back for or try when making my own hummus at home. The chicken kebab was very juicy and had a good char flavor, the rice was rice, and the accompanying salad was bright. Additionally, the grilled tomato and long pepper that came on the plate were both very tasty. Anna(?) even brought us more pita bread and a free sample of the baba ghanoush which was very good as well. It was sprinkled with high quality smoked paprika which lent a beautiful smoky flavor to the fragrant spread. I’m looking foward to trying the lamb next time and some of the other dips/spreads. We may have found a new go to spot…

Randomly finding Mike’s Fusion Mediterranean Restaurant was a treat this afternoon. It’s located in an area largely populated with big chain restaurants, so it was great to eat at what is truly a Mom and Pop operation. In this case Mom is Anna and Pop is Luis. Luis worked as a chef at several Turkish restaurants in New York, but wanted to open his own place. Since he had experience with the cuisine — and it’s their little son Mike’s favorite food — they went with a Turkish food spot. Despite being located in a nondescript strip mall, Mike’s is very nicely but simply decorated with bright colors. There’s seating for about 12 people, but the space is small enough to enjoy Luis and Anna’s hospitality. You can order from the menu or the large photo displays above the kitchen counter. One thing I really liked is that there are plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. I went with the vegetarian platter, which included a taste of several items from the kitchen. The hummus was smooth and tasty. The baba ganoush was nicely done. There were three small falafel balls which were crisp on the outside but moist on the inside. Rounding out the plate was a shepherd’s salad and sliced tomatoes. All of this was served with warm pita bread. Baklava is the only dessert option. It’s served in four small squares with pine nuts inside as usual, but instead of the usual honey, there’s a bit of cinnamon. Interestingly, it’s served warm. It’s tasty, but different from the usual baklava. Clearly Mike’s is a labor of love. Luis and Anna take a lot of pride in their restaurant and food and seem to really enjoy interacting with customers. I have to say today’s visit was the highlight of my day. I will plan my next trip to the area around a visit to Mike’s. Gracias por la hospitalidad, Luis y Anna! Hasta luego!

I am a falafel nut and though theirs was over-herbed, their spicy, green, hummus was so good. Good pita bread, good baba gannoush(but would like is a bit smoky). Peter had the Adana kebab and found it very good. Next time I will try the chicken. Nice staff, Ecuadorean/Turkish wife and husband. That explains the TV tuned to Spanish programming. Good.
