Best barbecue I have ever had. The wife and I stopped for dinner here before going to see the lights at Callaway and boy are we glad we did! This is now a part of our holiday tradition and we are bringing others! We go on Christmas Eve and pig out! The chopped pork and sauce omg!!! The ribs! Hells yeah! Tead toast and beans mmmmm mmmm! Great little spot!

Each year, when we visit Pine Mountain this place is first on our list. Hickory smoked ribs, pulled pork sandwich and beans are the best!

Was in town after visiting FDR and found this place on Unilocal. The food is amazing and the wait staff was very nice and polite. Lots of seating indoors and outside. We sat outside since it was a pleasant November day. I had the bbq sandwich which was very moist considering it was smoked for hours. I would’ve given it 5 stars but I thought the bbq sauce could’ve been sweeter.

Great food at a great price. Only complaint would be that there was not a sweet bbq sauce. Kettle chips were so addicting they should be outlawed! Lol…

Wow — my BBQ judging skills are probably not great, but the food here is fantabulous. Good prices, great food, generous quantities. My daughter-in-law, a true Southern Lady and BBQ expert says this place is the real deal, down home stuff. From my experience I agree. A must-stop place if you’re anywhere nearby.

Great BBQ, friendly gals behind the counter and real good portions. The pulled pork and ribs were the meats of choice. Price was spot on

I found this place while staying at the Callaway Gardens. The food is great and tasty. I can’t believe how inexpensive it is. I highly recommend this place. The people are very nice. I’m from Atlanta and found this place better then other places in the city. The meat just falls of the bone. The beans have a good kick. The sweet tea was just right. Often, I found sweet tea in most place to be extremely sweet. Their tea is perfect.

Definitely good barbecue. Enjoyed the Pork Sandwich Plate, Very generous serving of pulled pork on a bun served with choice of a couple of house made sauces along with some really good potato chips, slaw and pickle slices. Served with a large drink all for under $ 10. Barbecue cooked over real wood and a very nostalgic sounding driveway bell.

Stopped in today on a afternoon motorcycle trip from Columbus. Had a chopped bbq sandwich with chips and drink. The sandwich was pilled high with bbq, was tender and delicious, without any excess fat. Will surely stop in again. Be ware though, Cash and Check only.

purchased the chipped pork plate: pork: excellent. cleaned of excess fat, so it was a huge pile of just tender pork. beans: best baked beans I’ve ever eaten. They are spicy, but it’s more of a warmed mouth spice, not an intense focused heat. Great depth of flavor with the combo of spicy, savory, and a light sweetness. Super amazing. coleslaw: perfectly adequate. Nothing to write home about. bbq sauce: a mustard vinegar sauce that wasn’t too heavy in either direction. Very balanced with a nice spicy kick. I went with mild, so the heat wasn’t overwhelming, but still present. If you don’t like any heat, this sauce may not be for you. garlic toast: good, but not ground breaking. Not a deal breaker, b/c you’re obviously here for the bbq not garlic toast. Found the price good value for the amount of food received. Super tasty and would definitely recommend.

Hiking the Pine Mountain Trail? Expecting to be hungry afterwards? Like BBQ? Good news! Three Lil Pigs is on the way from the trails to the highway and is well worth stopping at. As a plus — if you smell like a couple days of hiking they have a drive through AND outdoor seating. Things to know: The BBQ is pig. As another reviewer mentioned this is par for the course in Georgia. If you see cow on the menu in a BBQ joint you can usually assume it is only going to be mediocre — so pig is a good thing. BBQ in Georgia is meant to be sauced. They were a tad stingy with the sauce on the chipped pork sandwiches, only providing one small cup of it per sandwich — but they were happy to give me a couple extra so I could properly sauce my ‘wich. The BBQ sauce is a spicy-mustardy sauce… but not full on mustard BBQ sauce. The beans are quite spicy. If you like spicy food give these a try. The coleslaw is good! I typically don’t care for slaw, but it was lightly sauced and very fresh tasting. The sandwiches come with a LOT of chips and a small side of coleslaw. Even coming at this sandwich ravenous I only barely finished my own, all of the chips, the coleslaw and half of a side of beans. The portions are serious. – TL;DR? If you hike in the area and like BBQ, eat here.

Very few places have sauce hot enough for me. This is one of those places. They made it extra hot at my request, I was impressed. The pig was smoked just right, not dry, not greasy but that perfect place right in the middle. If you want beef barbecue, go to Texas. In Georgia, barbecue is pig, son, I say pig! Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Soooo the Hubby and I were riding through Pine Mountain on our motorcycles and thought we would stop in on the 4th of July for dinner. The food was just, ok. Although you got a lot for your money, it lacked taste. We like our bbq to have a smoke taste, not just good sauce. We had the mild and the hot sauces and each were ok. My hubby had the Brunswick stew and he said it was ok, so all together we can only give this place 2 stars.

Super quick service. Even the mild sauce is spicy but not vinegary. Baked beans unique green pepper influence. Very generous portions. Good value!

When I travel I love to discover«Mom and Pop» places. Took a Saturday visit to Callaway Gardens and on drive back was so happy to spot this place. They have a drive through that stays busy, indoor and outdoor sitting. Good food, nice people, and yummy!!!
