Their seasoned fries are «to die for»! Service has always been very prompt and friendly! Seriously delicious burgers! Everything has always been very fresh to where I’ve never had any stomach problems as I do with many other places. For fast food, this is the best!

If a pre made egg breakfast burrito is what you’re in to, this still isn’t the place for you. I think the only thing I liked here was the salsa because it was from a can. Eggs tasted microwaved, very bland flavors, have no idea how this has 4 stars. Sorry guys but it takes hardly any time to make fresh eggs, that would really change this review.

We just moved to the area two weeks ago from the Denver area. We kept passing by this crazy looking drive thru restaurant. We weren’t sure about the place. All I can say is never judge a book by its cover. We ordered two pizzas (take and bake) over the phone earlier in the day, and paid for them. We picked them up on our way home from work on a Friday night. We cooked them (which didn’t take long at all! And OMG they were so tasty! The pineapple and ham was my favorite! We will most definitely order from them again!!! It filled our house with such yummy smells!!! I highly recommend them!!! Can’t wait to try other foods that they offer there!!!

The food is really good diner food. We love that they always offer our dogs treats, really is a great touch. What I don’t understand is don’t they want to make money? We pulled in at 7:01pm on the Friday of 4th of July weekend, HWY 285 was packed with potential customers, and the high school kid working told us they closed at 7. I don’t get it? We had to go down the road to spend our money. I would give 5 stars if they had summer hours or were open until at least 8pm.

I give this place three stars for the food, and an extra star for service. I rolled into the Cruz-​In after a long day of field work, about 3:30 pm. It was cold, snowing, and I hadn’t had any food since breakfast. I ordered a regular cheeseburger combo meal with a drink. When I came up to the window, the young lady at the register noticed that I had my pooch with me in the back seat, and immediately asked if my dog would like a treat. It was such a nice gesture, that in my mind, it did not matter if the food was terrible, they exceeded my expectations with customer service. Just to note, food was good, and I would certainly stop by again.

After a weekend camping in the mountains near Bailey, Colorado, Cruz’in was a welcome sight. A drive-​thru, which accommodated a massive RV, their breakfast made all things good.
We ordered a sausage breakfast burrito, bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich, cinnamon roll and strong black coffee.
The service was quick, the staff, wearing their Denver Bronco pride, was friendly and smiley.
The cost was very reasonably priced.
We pulled over nearby and feasted. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. It hit the spot immensely.
If one is ever just west of Pine Junction on 285, stop for a meal. You’ll be glad you did!

Take n bake pizzas are good! As for someone commenting on a soggy burger that was pink, pink is better unless you are a fast food chain or weirdo. As for Hunts ketchup they are the cream of the crop when it comes to ketchup look in your local grocery store Hunts is there! They even have one with no high fructose corn syrup!

This is by far the best place to stop when you’re in the area! Worth driving out of the way just to eat here! Greatest burgers, fries, breakfast burritos and shakes!

the hamburger was soggy, very pink in the middle. They use inexpensive, thin small buns and the best was shredded lettuce! They serve Hunts ketchup– I didn’t even know Hunts was still around. Tooo bad I was so hungry. My son who loves food and not picky said the chicken fingers were horrible and wouldn’t eat them. He asked for a bit of my hamburger, I showed him and then he said naw!

Cruz’in has solidly OK burgers (for the rural mountains), fries, onion rings and shakes. I think their burritos are basically meh but some people really like them. Never tried their take-​n-​bake pizzas.
They only offer drive-​thru and, other than the new Gypsy Diner in Bailey, are the only drive-​thru places until you get to Conifer. (These may even be the only drive-​thru places between Conifer and Fairplay.) I’m local and will stop there if I’m craving a burger — and I’m especially fond of their green chili burger. The service is also consistently good. We’re lucky to have this — or any drive-​thru — in our neighborhood.

I love Cruz-​In! In an area where restaurants of any kind are few & far between, I really appreciate a local drive thru with awesome burgers. Their fries are awesome, I don’t know what they do to them, and frankly I don’t care– just don’t ever change them! Don’t forget to get a shake while you’re there, let me recommend a small (a small is really plenty) Butter Pecan shake. AMAZING. I’ve also had their bacon breakfast burritos (no green chile), chili dogs, chicken salad sandwich, and tuna sandwich. Everything I’ve had there has been great. The chicken & tuna sandwiches are specials but I would cry tears of joy if they made either one a regular menu item.

I see there are two references to Cruz-​in. I believe they’re one in the same so I’ll put this on both :)
I LOVE this place! We live nearby so we have become frequent visitors. The food is so inexpensive yet so delicious. The fries here taste just like the fries you get at the fair, so good. The burrito’s are so tasty, they are generous with the toppings on the take and bake pizzas which are delish.
All I can say is when you live far from town it is a huge treat to have something close by that’s so fast, easy and scrumptious, particularly with such a variety of food!

Food is quick, cheap & tasty — staff not very knowledgeable. For exmaple, tonight I called to see what time they close. I was told they close in 1.5 hrs from my call. So I drove 10 minutes to the Cruz in and I was told sorry the grill is already shut down we only have take & bake pizza’s.
It is BS they didn’t tell me this when I called. If you are open until 7pm, then your grill should be hot and ready to make a hamburger at 6:59pm & not shut down at 5:50pm.

If you’re ever driving up to the mountains on 285 you should make it a point to stop at Cruz-​In. As far as fast food joints go, this is the best. We usually go for their breakfast burritos. The chorizo one is fantastic. And they are always scorching hot and fresh. I love their fries and their spicy chicken sandwich. They cook everything to order so sometimes it’s a bit of a wait. You can either drive through and order at the menu sign and pick up at the window or you can park and walk in and order at the counter. There are a few tables outside for dining but this is pretty much an eat-​on-​the-​go kind of place.
To top it all off they often have treats for your dogs too :)

This is a family owned drive through joint.
It is a great alternative to big chain fast food places.
The food is just as greasy but the people are great.
