The food is good, hot and fresh bit they need to work on portions. We ordered Mongolian beef, it was more like Mongolian vegetables with four pieces of beef. But don’t get me wrong the sauce was really good. My go to of chicken fried rice was just dry and had no taste.

Stopped here because I needed to use the restroom-decided to stay for lunch even though there was no one else in the restaurant. Best Thai we’ve had in quite a while. Amazing flavors abound– my husband had lemongrass chicken– great sauce and lots of fresh veggies, my daughter tried the coconut soup– a highlight of the meal– spicy and complex. She also had the beef satay– yumm. My drunken noodles were some of the best I have ever had– and they know how to cook tofu too. So gingery. So sublime! The service was super speedy and the prices were low. Not a fancy ambiance– but nobody will care. Five stars for the food!

Great food and excellent service. My wife and I stopped in for lunch after a hike in the mountains. She had the panang curry, and I had the drunken noodles. Both were delicious and serving size was generous. We will be sure to come back after future mountain excursions!

The edamame were good, but that’s really hard to do badly. It’s really just a Chinese restaurant with some other types of Asian items on the menu. Their Thai food was not good. The Pad Thai was pretty bad. I don’t know what kind of sauce they used, but it wasn’t Pad Thai sauce. I’ve had Thai iced tea at many Thai restaurants, but this Thai iced tea was just bad.

The food is always so good and fresh. Service is quick and the restaurant in tidy. For this to be up in the mountains it’s surprisingly good and way better than most places up here. Crab wantons and egg rolls are best around!

I don’t know what is going on there, except may guess is the Health Inspector hasn’t visited. The last two times both my husband and I got Montezuma’s Revenge. The waiter is still there. He seemed bitter. They had beers on sale, but we had to get them ourselves from the bar(really?). I asked for spicey and the waiter drags some jar from the back with«spicy» pickles. Yes, he expected us to dig in with our utensils and try them. The jar had apparently been shared amongst other patrons. Obviously they haven’t heard about cross-contamination. Which could explain our tummy problems? He spend a lot of time outside(I think smoking) and on his cell phone. Wouldn’t want to miss a delivery of those yummy Spicey pickles… right? We’ve decided it isn’t worth going back. Sorry. I guess I’m sticking with Monkey Thai. Yummo! Just had it this last week. Avoid if you can. :) By the way I found out that waiter works at the Liquor store next door. It didn’t surprise me that he was drunk. The prices were all wrong. When I asked him if the 12 pack was really $ 2.99 he asked me if I was a liquor store owner. I told him no then he thanked me for pointing out the wrong price tag(one of many). What is going on with that guy? Yikes.

Had high hopes for this place after reading all the reviews. One thing I miss from Denver is having a plethora of good asian restaurants around. I have tried the Pad Thai, Chicken Lo Mein and Panang Curry. The pad thai was easily the worst pad thai I have ever had. It was bland with an odd smell or taste I couldn’t place. The chicken lo mein was bland as well and almost tasted burned. The panang curry was actually ok, although I have had better. My kids threw away their lo mein and my wife threw away her pad thai, all after only 3 – 4 bites. I tried it before they threw it away. If a Thai restaurant can’t make good pad thai I am not sure how they can make anything else that is good. While the panang curry was ok, we probably won’t ever go back here. If they own the Chinese restaurant in Bailey, I for sure won’t go there. We ordered our food to go, after reading reviews about slow service and I heard the same from friends in the area. I arrived to pick up the food too early but the staff seemed nice enough while I waited.

Drove past 3 thai restaurants from home to derrick thai. Was not greeted after waiting seemingly forever to be seated. We found our own way. Waiter continued to ignore us for next 10 min. We were 1 of 3 tables occupied… people at bar were loud and roughneck. Once agknowledged by waiter, he was sarcastic, rude, and generally madeus feel likevwe were an inconvenience. Now something decent to say… food was marginal. Three dinner entrees andvan app with drinks for $ 43.

We are new to the area so we weren’t sure about this place. We were pleasantly surprised. It is not a fancy place so if you need fancy go somewhere else. We had good service and great food. For appetizers, we had coconut shrimp. We received 6 tasty shrimp with a sweet and tangy dipping sauce. For the main course my wife had Vietnamese garlic butter shrimp. I had the sesame chicken. Both were delicious and nice size servings. We plan to come back soon.

The food here was ok, nothing spectacular. The service was really good. Atmosphere was simple and clean, but we were ultimately turned way off by the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen. It came wafting through the dining room each time the door to the kitchen was opened. Probably won’t go back for that reason alone.

Yes, this is owned by the same people who own China Village in «downtown» Bailey, and once owned the(now closed) Chinese place by the 3 Margaritas in the Staples strip mall in Conifer, where there’s now a chiropractor’s office. Yes, this place was once the Panda Garden. Yes, the Chinese food is still pretty much the exact same you would find at their other Chinese restaurants in Bailey, Conifer and most of Colorado. However… Their Thai food is truly, shockingly good. Their Panang Curry is among the best I’ve had, anywhere — and I’ve been to far fancier Thai restaurants throughout the country. I love their Thai Spring Rolls and will often just have that along with a small(or large) Chicken Coconut Soup. I seem to get a craving for it whenever I’m not feeling very well, as it seems to help me feel better. My friend and I have also had their Sriracha Beef, which is solidly good(if not great) but only because I think it needs more spice. I’ve always added extra Sriracha sauce to my plate, as I like the added heat. My friend, on the other hand, prefers it the way it’s served and truly loved it. Their Thai Basil Chicken is also solidly good — but again I prefer extra spice while my friend loved the dish as it was served. For those wanting something to treat their ails after a hard day at work or on the slopes, they do have a full bar, though I have yet to try it. I should add that, while service has always been friendly, it’s not always the fastest service around. This is going to be true for any rural Colorado area. I’ve been told by a waitress that I need to try their Sizzling Rice Soup(for 2) as it’s among her favorite dishes and is her reliable soup when she’s not feeling well. I’m also eager to try their Pad Thai and some of their other curries, so another trip may soon be in order. For Chinese food in a rural Colorado area, you’ll probably be at least reasonably happy here(though I’d still recommend Golden Stix down in the Conifer King Soopers area). For Thai food, you’ll honestly be impressed, especially as it’s in such a rural area. I’ve become a regular here since they opened around February or March of 2012 and I know I’ll keep coming back for as long as I live in(or am visiting) the area. We’re lucky to have this here.
