I read about the Shave Shop in the newspaper and stopped by. The shop is in a small strip center, but has a very nice feel. You will sit in an antiques barber chair and get a haircut the way you want it. I have been there several times now and see all ages from youngsters brought in with mom, to oldsters and hipsters. They will buzzcut you, or lightly trim you. They do a great job on my mustache, and I have had two straight razor shaves that are way cool. Hot towels and all! A good value, and I hope they succeed.

This place was a breath of fresh air. I had been going to SportClips because I was able to train up my cosmetologist to cut me just right. However, this is a great alternative when you want a razor fade which only a barber is licensed to do. I also like that you can make an appointment here where you can’t at SportClips. I would give it 5 stars if it offered shampoo. I hate the tiny hairs on my neck and face after a fresh cut.

This is a full service barbershop, and they are awesome. I can’t even remember the last time I was offered a straight razor shave, it was probably back when I lived in Chicagoland. Real attention to detail here, and I felt very satisfied with the experience. I can’t speak to credit card acceptance, I paid cash. I just walked in, no appointment. And they even have a pool table!

The art of a good shave and haircut is alive and well at Sandhills Shave Shop. Awesome professional atmosphere with friendly trained barbers. I’ve been looking for over a year to find an upscale Barber Shop and this fits the bill. The local paper did an article on Sandhills Shave Shop and I am glad they did.
If you are looking for a quality hair cut this is the place. If you are in the mood for a little pampering — their shave is second to none.
