We went for dinner Valentine’s day evening and it was very busy. Let me say up front the food was fabulous, the best I had in Moore County. I had a steak, New York strip, well-done, and it melted in my mouth. My husband had stuffed flounder, which he really enjoyed. The potatoes au gratin were nice and cheesy and the mixed vegetables excellent. Our only complaint on the food was a slight one: the salad was a mixed greens salad and we like more vegetables added. I would give this restaurant 5 stars but the service was very slow. The waiters were very nice and courteous, but they were just overwhelmed. The management should have hired more staff for the holiday. Overall though, don’t miss this gem in the Sandhills. Great culinary delight!

Excellent food at very reasonable prices! Hard to choose between American and Thai cuisine… well kept secret with outstanding service. Generous drinks… fair prices for liquor, wine and beer.

Party of 9 on Friday evening. Not crowded so no excuse. French onion soup ordered by 5 people. Universal thumbs down. 2 people got their food 7 to 8 minutes after everyone else. The crab stuffed talapia was terrible. To many better choices for me to give this place a second chance anytime soon.

I just realized that although I come here often, I have never written a review. When I read the reviews, I can’t believe that they are not better than they are. Seems like most of the lower scores are related to the décor and not the food. Sorry guys, but that’s not my style! I almost always go here for lunch not supper. Their menu is split between Thai food and American fare. I almost always eat off the Thai menu. I have eaten the Chopped BBQ off the other side and it was great. The Thai food is always good. Nice lunch servings. Great lunch prices. Quick service. Friendly staff. Pretty location. Outdated furnishings? Really! That’s your beef? I’ll take it where it is, the way it is. Sure, they could remodel and move it from the 80’s to the 2010’s. Get rid of some blue hairs and bring in a few hipsters. But the prices would double and quality and service would suffer. The world is full of places like that. I hope Table on the Green stays just as it is! Come visit and you will certainly agree. Unless you are a certain kind of snob, the food, service and price will find your sweet spot.

Very good Thai dishes. Wasn’t busy at all, which is disappointing. Hoping they are around for awhile, I am craving their Summer Rolls since we dined there.

Don’t be fooled by the location. Food is very very good. Especially the Thai dishes. We enjoyed the champagne chicken, the lobster, great fresh artisan breads, delicious salute vegetables, Tom yum goon, pad Thai and curry dishes. The desserts are excellent. The staff are all young but are attentive and pleasant. The décor and ambiance are both older and mellow like others gave mentioned but not so that would prevent one from dining there. And the food I really good.

For the money it’s a deal. The furnishings are old and have seen better days, but the oriental food is done well.

This was a great disappointment. I made our lunch reservation and viewed the menu online. It stated that it was American cuisine that included Thai flavors as a part of the menu. The prices were very reasonable, this is the most positive part of the experience. When we walked in, it looked like an old dining hall with a bar on one side. The tables and chairs were old and rickety. We were placed n front of the window that had a view of the golf course. This was a pretty scene, but it seemed like there wasn’t much ventilation, a door was open and it’s in the 80’s outside. I didn’t want to eat in a sauna. Our waitress was very slow on the service from start to finish. One of the drinks ordered never came, and we had to find her to pay the bill in order to leave. There was another lady there trying to help her by clearing plates and she brought out one dessert instead of the two we ordered. Our waitress seemed annoyed by the other lady. I ordered a grilled veggie pannini. It was basically squash and zucchini sliced in half with mozzarella between two pieces of toasted bread. It came with salad and a ramekin of coleslaw that I didn’t dare taste. My husband had a fried seafood appetizer, and a garlic shrimp dish. He said the shrimp was good. The desserts we had were the chocolate crème brûlée and white chocolate bread pudding. The crème brûlée was better. I will not go back.
