Went to the Bone Thugs Concert Friday. A little disappointed. The show started late it was $ 20 at the gate but most got in on the side without paying a thing. Bone Thugs performed last and did 3 songs. I drove 2hrs to see them. Wont be back to this park

I am laughing at myself right now… my queue of places to review is about 30+ long and this is the one I am choosing to write at this time. I was anxious to see this venue because I had never had heard of it until they released the advertisements for Hairapalooza. England Brothers Bandshell Park is your typical park venue — a big grassy field with scattered picnic tables and a line of port-a-potties. Parking was very organized when we arrived early afternoon. When we left earlier this evening, that was another story and it was every man/woman for themselves. The organizers did a great job with ticketing and we were able to purchase VIP seating through Groupon. VIP seating was fenced off from General Admission and we had our own bar and port-a-potties. However, there was only two port-a-potties for the large number people who had purchased VIP. We were very close to the stage and there was not a bad seat in the house. In VIP, they also had two large tented areas set up with tables so that there was an option for sitting in the shade. This is where we sat for most of the day until the headliners played on stage. There was a breeze, so the heat didn’t feel so intense. There were many food concession options available in the General Admission area: Arepas, Greek Food, Hot Dogs, etc. There was also a large number of available port-a-potties so the wait was very minimal in order to use them. I would definitely return to this venue. The event organizers did a great job of putting Hairapalooza together. Hopefully, when Billy Squier comes to play at England Brothers Park in November, everything will run just as smooth.
