I’ve had their plain cheese pizza three times within the past few months and it was always very good. I’m from NY and this is close to NY pizza. For true NY pizza try Arinell in Berleley or SF. The price here is good, service is Newyorkish but fine. I don’t understand the bad reviews, but I never tried home delivery or crazy toppings, and do they even sell wings?

Horrible. We got the pizza home(a five minute drive), took out a plate, and blotted the pizza with several paper towels to get the excess grease off. I picked up a slice, the crust was so soggy, all the cheese and ingredients slid right off. My fiancée had as much difficulty as I did. The pizza was flavorless and really quite disgusting. After one slice each, we were done. We threw the rest of the pizza away. Hardly considered this crap food.

All 4 – 5 times we have eaten here, it was pretty good. Their pizza tastes like no other so that is good in itself. Stick to the basic cheese and pepperoni, and you won’t go wrong.

I’ve been here a few times and I’ve had good experiences. It’s a small joint that serves a good solid pizza. I’ll use them again. Service was friendly enough, prices are fair.

Yep. I would give this cr@p-hole a half star if I could. The only good thing about the place is the fact that I didn’t actually die in tbe process of eating their garbage they call food. I ordered over the phone and went to pick it up. It was ready on time. It went downhill from there. Upon reaching home I discovered that everything was already cold. I live less than a mile away… Not cool. The«meat lovers“ish pizza was most likely a previous employee. It tasted like rubbery mud. The crust was not exactly crust at all but a greasy flat jelly. I give the pizza a 1 out of 50. The«bread sticks» were about the same. Tastless, rubbery, boredem. Obviously I will never go there again, and neither should you.

WAIT!!! GOTTATRYIT~ Im glad I didnt see reviews before trying this place out. I probably would of simply passed on them. Our pizza was FRESH, FAST and gone in a couple bites! Its now PRIMOS(not sure when it changed). But we would definetly buy again. Our pizza of choice: Pesto sauce, Artichoke hearts and Fresh sliced tomatoes.

This place sucks, I ordered pizza several years ago from there and there service sucked then. I ordered a few sandwiches tonight trying to give them another chance since they are a local business. But 1 ½ hrs later and 4 phone calls my food gets here cold. I don’t think so…

One star for delivering within the time frame quoted. This pizza had no taste. We ordered a large vegetarian and added meats because they don’t make an ordinary combo. The crust was litteraly wet. LIke it was half baked and thrown in a box driving around the neighborhood for a while. The ingredients were only sprinkled sparingly in the center. 2/3rds of the crust had cheese and nothing else. No flavor even with the garlic tomatoes, …zippo. I’ve sent them a letter of disatisfaction. I reminded them in these times, when the community is trying to support the local eateries, they better step up to the plate. $ 35 for a large pizza is ridiculous, especially when it was no better than Dominos.

If you are looking for good pizza at a decent price — keep driving. However, if you are looking for a incredibly bland hunk of heated cheese product made in a dubious enviornment,(that is, none too clean), this might be for you. I am not a picky pizza person and am delighted to eat anything — from that which is a cut above the average chain pizza to really great pizza. But this was useless. We are tossing the leftovers. It’s strange to me why someone would go into the pizza business and then not learn how to make GOOD pizza. That is important! More important than pretending you have a line on some legendary East Coast thang. I can say this much — the people were not rude and the pizza was hot. I could clearly distingush between the so-called pizza and the box it came in. And I suspect it’s better than the place at the top of Appian Way which is advertising a large pizza for $ 5. That’s about it. Until you learn how to make a decent(doesn’t have to be great — just decent) pizza, how about changing the name to A’s Modesto Pizza-like Objects for a Reasonable Price?

PLEASEAVOIDTHISPLACEIFYOUCAN!!! OMGJUSTSTAYAWAY!!! There should be an option for NO stars because this place needs to be SHUTDOWN. My BF saw their ad that comes in the weekly mail and wanted to give them a try for our Halloween party. So we ordered 2 pizzas, garlic chicken and pepperoni and 2 orders of their chicken wings family pack(came with 40 wings, salad, 12 breadsticks and a liter soda per order). When the food arrived, I checked order to make sure it was correct and my garlic chicken was plain cheese(and mind you they charged us the garlic chicken price), I only received 1 salad and 6 pieces of bread. And here’s the clincher — I was supposed to get 80 wings total and only got about 50. And they were the most disgusting wings I have ever seen. I mean, they didn’t even look like wings, let alone from a chicken!!! OMG some of them were even JUSTTHEBONE!!! You bet I complained and they said they would fix the problem — for an extra charge and will send out the corrected items TOMORROW. Tomorrow? Hello my party is TONIGHT! WHATGOODWOULDTHATDO!!! AND I’M NOTPAYINGFORYOURMISTAKES! We finally spoke to the owner and demanded they fix our order. So an hour later, we get our garlic pizza, extra salad and bread and more wings. And tell me why now the wings actually looked like legitimate chicken wings? WTF? And if this how NY pizza is supposed to taste, then NY pizza tastes like SH! T!!! PLEASEJUSTAVOIDTHISPLACE. $ 1 frozen pizza is a better choice.

Worst slice ever! Dry, tasteless. Will NEVER go to this strip mall place again. Would rather spend a little more for a decent pie, then eat this dreck.

The pizza was decent(in a Little Ceasar’s sort of way) and cheap enough to inspire me to visit the place a second time in 2005. That time, however, the A’s blew it. I was the only customer in the place, and I ordered a basic medium pepperoni pizza. After about a 20 minute wait, the employee cuts up the pizza then peeks out of his kitchen window and looks at me, then back at the pizza, then back at me. He asks me a question. «Excuse me. Did you order a cheese pizza?» «Nope. I ordered pepperoni.» «OK, it’ll just be a few more minutes.» The manager comes by and looks at the pizza, then at me, then back at the pizza. I can hear the employee giggling nervously as if he’s made a mistake, and he’s trying to correct it. Five minutes later, my pizza is «done.» When I got home, I inspected the pizza. The pepperonis were clearly loose and undercooked, as they weren’t properly sticking to the cheese. Plus, the pepperonis over the cuts were whole, indicating that none of the pepperonis were present when the incisions were made. Now I was sure what the employee had done: After realizing he had screwed up the order, he frantically applied pepperonis to the cheese pizza and slid it back into the oven for five more minutes! I’m not a fool! I called the pizza joint and got a hold of the manager. I asked him how they cook pepperoni pizzas. Do they put pepperonis on before or after the cheese, sauce, and crust is cooked? He tells me pepperonis go on the pizza before it’s inserted into the oven. I tell him it appears that the pizza I just received was not cooked this way, with the pepperonis instead applied afterwards. He changes his statement and says pepperonis are sometimes cooked this way too … because pepperonis tend to burn sometimes. Pretty inconsistent methods, I’d say. We argue for another minute and he finally just hangs up the phone. I felt like the manager of this place valued his incompetent employees more than his paying customers. Since then, I’ve been going to Extreme Pizza and Round Table – much better tasting and better customer service.

Mo has left the building. Ugh! It pains me to see my favorite pizza place fall so far. The last few pizzas were terrible. The toppings were scant and the pizza sauce has changed(not for the better). I will not be back. RIP.
