Pretty good. Not the best, but pretty good. I liked the egg roll, and the sauce for the dumplings was awesome. But, the steamed dumplings were VERY doughy, and maybe even a little under cooked. Which is odd, because the crab rangoon could have used more time in the fryer. The general tsao’s used very small pieces of chicken, but they were nice and crunchy… just the way I like it. The sauce was very good, but the problem was they put this into the plastic togo container steaming hot. This led to a ton of condensation and I had to pour water out of the container. Wife loved the chicken chow fun, but it had mushrooms in it, which was different and not what she likes. Even so, there were only a few she was able to pick out and according to her she couldn’t taste them in the dish, so she wasn’t to upset. The best thing I had was the spare ribs. Huge, meaty, good sauce, not overcooked, and not too much fat. These are excellent.

Great lunch specials and I like their dumpling steamed or fried! Also, this is the only chinese restaurant that still has Fantail Shrimp on their menu as an appetizer! Two per order — Each shrimp is enveloped in a big, crispy, doughy, eggy coating and deep fried. The other takeout place in New Brunswick that used to make them closed down 27 years ago!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area no question. I would highly recommend the chicken with mixed vegetables and the egg drop soup.

Some of the best Chinese I’ve had plus the lunch prices were great. I’ll go back next time I’m in town.

Excellent food and super friendly folks. Literally my neighbors, I’m there a few times a week. Never disappointed, always high quality. Yes they have a dining room(not just a couple tables) but no delivery. They’re swamped every day for lunch! If you haven’t tried it you owe it to yourself.

Great place, always very sweet and accommodating. Great for takeout. They have a dining area for people who want to dine in which is nice and they also have a nice amount of parking. The food is great, tastes fresh and the shrimp rolls are super delish.

Just ordered from here for the first time. We had the general tso chicken which was pretty good. Lots of crunchy pieces but I have yet to have any general Tso chicken better than Red Dumpling in Woodbridge– MUST order all white meat. Anyway we also ordered green beans in brown sauce which was good, pork with garlic sauce which was just ok, pork fried rice was good and the hot and sour and wonton was ok. The noodles with the soup was the best part

Never had a bad meal here. They have take out in half the restaurant and sit down in the other half. The prices have gone up in the last couple years but the food is still good. The service is great and food comes out fast.

I ordered take out a while ago from this place. I guess they don’t do delivery. I can’t remember if it was an option and the menu doesn’t specify, just says«take out». I got chicken lo mein and crab rangoons. The lo mein was $ 7.95 for a quart. It was really lackluster; flavorless and greasy. And cheaper elsewhere to boot. The crab rangoons were alright, but again, better and cheaper elsewhere. The food wasn’t the worst I ever had, but I will probably never order from them again as I have found other Chinese restaurants that deliver with better food and better deals. I’d recommend the New Star Bamboo House or Ocean Garden(I have reviewed both).

This is not the place to go to for authentic Chinese fair, but if you like crispy fried Americanized Schezuan styled dishes, this is a great choice. This place has THEBEST General Tso I have ever eaten, and for a few years of my life I was on a General Tso kick. I kid not when I say I’ve had Tso at a minimum of 50 restaurants from CT to MD and each state in between. The chicken is lightly coated with corn starch and fried to a perfect crisp while not being over cooked, and the sauce is superb. I’ve had many other dishes there but I always go back for the General Tso. Stay away from Cantonese dishes(in particular Lobster Cantonese)… This is not the restaurant for that type of fair. Stick to spicy, crunchy, Americanized Chinese and you’ll do well here. If you go for the Tso, here’s a tip. Ask for«extra garlic» and«extra spicy,» if you’re into spicy food. You can also ask them to substitute beef for the chicken(which is an extra dollar). They use thinly sliced beef which really holds the corn starch well when it’s being fried. You’ll end up with a really crispy, juicy, memorable dish. General Tso’s beef :)
