I brought my friend to this palce because we were hungry af. I chose the sinapore rice because im not indian so i went with something on the menu that i knew… that quite limited my choices… It was fairly good. rice with alot fo chicken. the only downside was the rice. it could have been a bit improved if it had not been fried. good taste

Love this place. My husband and I(my husband is indian) come to the lunch buffet all the time. The food has a good level of spice and there is a good variety of food. They also give mango lassi or butter milk with the buffet at no extra charge. The dessert is also nicely displayed. Highly recommended.

My visit to this store start off by quick welcome. No waiting. Staff was friendly as well. I Ordered dosa and dahi Vada and idli. Everything was delicious. I was surprised by their speed of service and accuracy. Normally, you will have to wait atleast 15 – 20 minute After you placed order. For me, I gave this place 4stars Bcoz its second best place for dosa in the central New Jersey, Every one has different taste and opinion. I’ll still go back to try something else.

I visited this at the Oak tree location which is now closed and rightly so. Few years back I had visited the Stelton Road location also. Came back dissatisfied both the times. Both times I was enamored by the number of items/dishes on the buffet [ 50+]. Clearly the stress is on number of items on the buffet rather than quality of items. Very poor servicing of the buffet. Will not go again.

The food is really great. Don’t miss on Chole bhatura. It the best. They also have Wednesday chaat nights which has more than 10 items for a good price. The place is nice and also has a bigger party area in the back. The place is worth trying.

Amazing veg only lunch buffet. Everything was yummy but liked South Indian food more than the North Indian. Pani poori was yummy too. Lots good choices in desserts too. Nice service too. Would recommend this place to my friends.

We went on s Saturday lunch buffet. The buffet is awesome, they serve lassi or masala chaach complimentary. Also serve hot Dosas with the buffet, they had uttapam, idly, pani poori, papadi chaat, mirchi pakora for starters. Decent starters and tasty food with good service is what will make you like this place. The naan was soft, all curries, dal, paneer tikka masala, methi malai matar, veg makhani tasted excellent. Do not miss their IDLY it is the softest in the world, I loved those. The biryani was subtle in the way they used spices and don’t expect it to be hot, plus they had schezwan fried rice with corn pulav. A decent deserts topped the buffet of two for close to $ 30 including tips This is a pure veg joint and we loved it a lot, we will go again and recommend it to friends and family. 5 stars based on the taste of the food, service and cost. You will not go to this place only for the ambience, but it is also very decent.

I really enjoyed this place. I came with a big family and I really enjoyed everything. They gave our complimentary mango lassi, salad, and papad. The food was definitely solid and had a great taste to it. I recommend the muncherian for the appetizer. It was amazing! I also loved the paneer entrees.

Soulful vegetarian buffet… Spoilt for choice during a weekend buffet. Buffet starts with breakfast items(idly, upma etc…)then your choice of dosa onto table, already feeling a little full then I see Indian and Chinese main course waiting for me .now I see a whole range of desserts including fruits, Indian sweets and yeah the chocolate fountain with strawberries … Apart from these it has pani puri and mirchi chat Best part is that all these for 12.95 $ over weekend and 10 $ on weekday

Went today for lunch — they have buffet on weekends for $ 12.95 and weekdays for $ 9.95! We weren’t that hungry for the buffet so we just ordered food off menu. Between my parents and I – we got pav bhaji, dahi batata puri, vada pau and samosas. It was more than enough food for lunch for the three of us and the bill was only 27 dollars! I think that’s a really reasonable price. I’m rating this a 3 because the pav bhaji and vada pau weren’t good at all while the dahi batata puri and samosas were fresh and delicious.

We made trip from philadelphia for nice desi veg food and this place made it worthwhile. Food was fresh and very tasty. They did not have idly on menu which was disappointment, however jalebis did make up for it. Hotel staff mentioned menu item varies weekly. Hotel staff was attentive and answered our questions about menu Definitely place to visit for good veg food :)

Even though the décor/ambiance is subpar the food here is always sublime. I am coming to this place since 2008 and it never disappointed me. This is one of the best veggie Indian restaurants in central NJ. Definitely recommend for good Indian vegetarian food.

Really great selection for lunch buffet. For $ 10, you get a variety of appetizers including pakora, pani puri, some delicious channa salad… etc As for the main course, it’s pretty standard; you got your vegetables, dal, and rice. However, they also have veg manchurian which is rare and I love it! Best thing is you get a dosa with your buffet. Awesome stuff. Highly recommend to vegetarians for lunch.

I have been enjoying lunch buffets at this place for quite sometime and have found them to be consistently good. First, it’s a 100% veg place — so if you want to see wonderful assortment of foods that are possible without meat, give them a try. No really, I have never seen so many buffet offerings at any place! They usually have 5 – 7 appetizers, 6 – 8 main entrees, a couple of soups, salads, chutneys, and 3 – 4 desserts. And, all of them are usually pretty good. You are guaranteed to find something that you will want seconds of. I love their apps the most. Pani puri was perfect on this day. They also had crisp potatoes served with puri(deep fried puffed wheat bread) — delicious! This place is all about choices. As If the main buffet selections were not good enough, they also include a choice of dosa(rice crepes stuffed with sautéed onions and potatoes) with three to pick from. And, their dosa is no limpy offering to boost the count — a bonafide entrée on its own right served with proper accompaniment of coconut chutney and sambar(a spicy soupy preparation). For dessert, go for the Carrot Halwa(carrot boiled with thick crème and sugar and sprinkled with cardamom, cashews and yellow raisins) and skip the rest. Of course, need to get your doc’s clearance before you indulge — but sample you must! A big plus — unlike other Indian places which don’t offer bowls(katoris) for soupy dishes(so clumsy of them!) — they have a stack of steel bowls so that you can stay civilized(but you can still slurp)! A word for the service — though this is a buffet place, the wait staff was very friendly and almost made it look like a semi-table service affair. The place is in a nondescript small plaza with plenty of parking, right next to an Indian grocer. The restaurant itself is bright and airy and also has a private party hall.

This is a pretty solid Vegetarian Indian choice in the area. I’ve been here many times over the past several years, always for lunch or late afternoon snack. People often opt for the veg buffet(I think it’s $ 10-$ 13 depending in whether it’s a weekday or not), and it’s pretty good. Also comes with a dosa that is made to order. I’m usually not a fan of buffets though, just because it’s just too much food for me. So we usually opt to order off the menu. The idili, vada, and dosas are all tasty. Masala chai is good too — it’s real chai, not the stuff that comes from a box. They also now have special nights, like Dosa night and Chaat night on certain weekday nights, where you get unlimited dosa/chaat. I’ve never been, but sounds like something worth trying if you’re in the area.
