I’ve been here twice. Both times it was a taste explosion of inexplicable pleasure! The chef has an awesome knack of combining flavors and textures that are delightful. Both times we ordered a variety of menu items to share, and each dish was fresh, creative and exciting. I don’t get to Pismo often, but when I do, I will visit this place. I just haven’t found another Asian restaurant with this kind of talent!(And I don’t have any vested interest or friendship with the place.) Try it you’ll like it!

Food ok. Meat tough with lots of soy sauce. Some creative dishes but a place I’d not frequent.

A MUSTGOTOPLACEWHILEINPISMO! Had lunch here on a Saturday with my family of 10 and they were very accommodating. Had the Ahi Tacos when I was here and they were AWESOME. Had the Mt Fuji Fries to start and they really pile on the servings. Overall, a great dining experience that’s away from all the crowds at Pismo Pier.

My girlfriend and I were on a short beach trip and were looking for a good place for dinner that was maybe lesser known but had great food. We stumbled across KunFusion and figured we’d give it a try. The atmosphere is awesome, a relatively small place but cool vibe and friendly staff. They have lots of food options, we settled o the sweet potato fries as an appetizer and both got the Kluck Fu bowls. The fries were delicious, they came with two sauces of your choice. We went with chipotle aoli and a chimmichuri sauce– the aoli was much better. The bowls were good, but the sauce was heavy and on the sweeter side. The veggies were fresh and tasty, and the breaded chicken was the highlight of the bowl. Also, big portions for both items, so bring an empty belly. Overall a unique place with good grub options and tap beers. A cool spot without a doubt!

IMKUNFUSED, what is this witchcrafty of awesome Asian fusion. I don’t know why I didn’t try this place earlier but on a scale of poop to dank I would give it a DANK +! They have a wide array beers on tap and of Asian fusion foods which give you OPTIONS to make it VEGAN, vegetarian and/or gluten free, which the gluten free is some shit I don’t care for but Thumbs up for the versatility! Anyways I came in and it was like a damn ghost town in there, but I was greeted by Heather who was on of the most friendliest and helpful waitresses I’ve encountered. I’m an indecisive mofo, but I was looking to eat something healthy salad wise and she suggested the Sear Ahi Salad. Which was amazballs and my friend got the Moo fu which was also good. One side note, they were super great and I decided to go here because I wanted some fresh brewed kombucha, but sadly they weren’t ready yet. But at last it will give me a reason to come back! P. S. Thanks Heather for drawing stars on my leftovers holding them in the fridge so they didn’t spoil while I shopped at the California Fresh Market! Finally a place I come eat at when I’m in Santa Maria and don’t want Mexican food!

First time here… I had the moo fu bowl. Amazing! My wife had the pork and shrimp tacos with beer for $ 10. It had outstanding flavors in each bite. The restaurant has a fantastic vibe. Service was outstanding!!! Recommend!!! Glaze

Amazing, relatively inexpensive food. Not too sure about the child labor though. Also can we have a height limit for people behind the bar? The tiny lesbian with the hook hand is a bit unsettling. Thanks for the hook massage on the small of my back but Im just worried dwarfism is contagious. In all honesty just replace those ceiling tiles with black ones. Maybe paint the old ones. You could also do like ancient Chinese looking Confucius quotes, but modernized. Like, «It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop… Wink wink».

I really wanted to like this place as I really liked the owner/chef who was spunky and funny. However, the food just didn’t do it for me. I had the chicken with peppers and just TOO many peppers for one girl to eat. Still, it was nicely priced, and our server was lovely, so I can’t complain too much about that.

Absolutely love this spot! Food is insanely good from the apps to the dessert! I’m gluten intolerant and they were able to provide me a full menu of choices! Blew my socks off! The owner is awesome! Staff was very friendly and efficient. The vibe and look is very chic and makes you want to kick back and relax. Just found my go to spot! So stoked! I’m a happy girl!

Great new restaurant. Although it’s almost two years old. This was without a doubt one of the best experiences I’ve had on the central coast for dinner. The plates had a very high end gourmet look and taste with large portions and great prices. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. If you love sushi but feel burned out this is the place.

Had 3 tacos(meat in lavash bread) with slaw. Tasted good but have been vomiting hours later. PS. If you ask for water they don’t give you a glass of water, they charge you for bottle water.

First off, its seems as though every one that gives low stars and bad reviews, thinks they know exactly how things should be done. Due to them being from that culture or studying and vacationing there. If you think you know better then make it your damn self. My experience here was great. I came with my son and nephew on a whim. We were so lost on the menu but the friendly lady asked questions and we figured out what to try. Balls of steel: loads of flavor and spice. Thai tea: sweet but when is it not?! Son got the A-tacos and went to town on them. I got the(forgot name) but it had eggplant and red bell peppers, lots of tasty seasonings. My nephew wanted brown rice in his dish instead of white, so she adjusted it so that he could still have fried rice. I tried it and it was bomb. Definitely going back, to try more items! To me their flavors are a mix of Korean Asian and Indian. So of course some of the dishes are not going to taste as some have said«authentic«. Play some games while you wait or go during a sports game. Really relaxed and kick back atmosphere!

We went on a weeknight and the restaurant was not busy. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the balls of kunfusion to start. I quite enjoyed these(my boyfriend thought they were just okay but that’s due to personal preferences with food). They were rather large but had a nice crisp outer shell and good flavors within. I especially loved the dipping sauce that came with them. For our entrees I had the Kluck Foo and he had the Moo Foo. The Kluck Foo was wanting on flavor in my opinion. It was okay but I probably would not order it again. My boyfriend’s Kluck Foo was much more tasty and interesting and I would probably order that in the future. For dessert we had some sort of fried doughnut infused with fruit flavors(cannot remember the name and it is not on their menu). The doughnut was very large. The taste was good but it was dry and would have benefited from some sauce to dip it in. Overall the experience here was decent. We may try it again sometime now that we’ve moved to the area. Their menu and options are all very interesting. Next time we’ll try something different.

I came here with my parents and their family friends. Our friend recommended the place and love everything on the menu. He is a vegetarian and this place offers almost the entire menu as a vegan or vegetarian option and distinguish between the two. They also offer gluten free options. Those options alone got me to add a fourth star to the review. The sweet potato fries were one of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend them. Everyone at the table loved the food they ordered. It was all very flavorful. The tacos fell apart too easily and were hard to eat, but the flavor was good. The ahi tada appetizer was delicious. The moo fu beef bowl I had was pretty tasty, but the beef was just a little bit tough. I really liked the slightly spicy pickled cucumbers on the top, and I don’t usually like spice. I also liked the slightly spicy lettuce wrap. The service was great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I love the chalk board wall! We also ordered a local wine which was good with the food we ordered. I say this place is worth a try. Our family friends come here a lot and love everything about it.

The restaurant began as a food truck. This is a success story. The establishments name is fitting. The food is high quality but difficult to describe. The top seller is the sweet potato fries. Yes they are tasty but it’s the dunking sauces that really set this culinary delight apart from any you have had before. The fish entrées are out of this world. Great micro beers which rotate on tap!
