Dana is a great instructor. He took my 2 kids SUPing on the Pismo creek, on what he called an adventure ride. He is soft spoken, very friendly and super fun. I must say I was at first skeptical if the kids would like it, if it would be worth the money, but the kids ended up having a blast. They had a 2 hour ATV ride right after this, but all they could talk about now is the SUP experience. Totally worth it.

We took our 7 year old grandson for a lesson w Dana and the goats… I can’t even express what a great time we all had ! Dana is an excellent instructor and the goats just add to the excitement. We purchased a a combo lesson of paddle boarding and surfing. So much fun… We wouldn’t think of having him here without scheduling with Dana and the goats. Dana even autographed the recent National Geographic Kids article ⁷⁄₁₅ Jake was over the moon excited. Highly Recommend: D

First time SUPing and had an amazing time. Dana is a great instructor, super friendly and fun. He took 3 teenagers and myself out on Pismo creek and it was serene, beautiful and a blast. Dana is patient and extremely knowledgeable. My son got so comfortable he wanted to try SUPing in the ocean and Dana was happy to go with him. Wonderful day and made great memories with the family. Definitely doing it again!

Going stand up paddling with the legendary Dana and his goats is guaranteed to bring a smile on your face and give you alot of laughs!
I would highly recommend taking SUP lessons with the surfing goats! Dana is a fun filled, free, patient and funny guy who also happens to be an excellent instructor!

There are not proper words for me to express my gratitude for Dana, who took his personal time to make the difference in the life of a hurting child. Dana met us in Pismo Beach with his three sweet goats, where he took us paddle boarding. The combination of paddle boarding, hanging out with the goats, and Dana’s infectious personality made for an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss any opportunity to hang out with Dana and his goats, I promise you that you will walk away happier than when you came.

I had the most awesome time learning to SUP with Dana and the goats. Easily the best activity during my trip to California. I had never SUP’d before but Dana was a really good teacher and I managed to SUP with the goats without falling in!
I definitely recommend getting a lesson in with Dana, SUPing with goats will probably be the greatest thing you ever do!
