Dia De Los Burritos

Nice little joint. Myself and 3 friends went here Saturday night around 8 and were lucky enough to score one of the 3 inside tables. Simple menu, but I like that, gives them a chance to focus on what they do best. My friends both got steak Quasadillas which they were big fans of. My wife and I shared a taco sampler and a chicken Quasadilla. The Quasadilla was super cheeses and crispy, just how we like them. The star of the taco sampler was definitely the chipotle ranch taco, the sauces was fantastic with just the right amount of heat and the steak was full of great flavor.
We will definitely be back.

This is the best burrito joint I’ve been to in South Jersey. Great options, great sauces, super nice staff. Small place so be prepared to share a table… Which is also a plus.

I really wanted to like this place! Inside is exactly how a local eatery should be decorated. However, the menu is very americanized, and I found my tacos to be too generic. None of the cilantro and onion nor any pork or chorizo options; steak and chicken only. One taco option is bacon chipotle and it was very mediocre. The honey ginger sriracha was an unusual taste and texture. Lots of good reviews here but for my taste it was a disappointment.

If you are in the New Jersey/​Philadelphia area, you HAVE to go here. The food is fantastic. Everything is so fresh. Everything from the lettuce to the meats. There is not a bad thing on the menu. And to top it all of, the owners are great. They are so nice and genuine.

Even though we live in the next town over we never heard of this place until we saw it on Unilocal and we are glad we did. We ordered bowls with chicken and they were excellent. Much fresher than Chipotle, and the people who work in the store are really glad you came in. BTW I ordered extra, extra hot sauce and it really was extra, extra hot, probably will go with just the extra hot next time. Bottom line, good food, good people and a good price, we will be back!

I live almost right across from this place. I love our little town and I love to support our businesses. In this case, that will be no problem! The food is excellent! Fresh fresh fresh. I have been there several times already and everything has been good. The build your own burrito is fun. The people are nice. Only reason giving 4 out 5 stars is they were a little stingy with the amount of chips on the side they give you. Otherwise, perfect.

Found this place on Unilocal… I’ve never had a better burrito bowl. Amazingly fresh ingredients and probably some of the friendliest people I’ve encountered who obviously take great pride in the business. I will happily go back to this place when in the area again! Great find!

Great addition to Pitman. This restaurant is simple and amazing. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and I couldn’t be any happier. Fair prices and very fresh food. Also all meats are from Trim Rite which is a local butcher with a high reputation. I hope everyone would try this place so they can flourish and become a new hot spot in Pitman. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is a very nice addition to Pitman. It had good service and the food was fresh and good. It’s very small inside and not suitable for a large group. We ordered the chips with guacamole, salsa, and queso. All were good but felt that each could be improved upon. I ordered the chicken taco sampler. I’d order the classic and bacon ranch again but the honey srircaha was not to my liking. Very sweet. It’s very hard for me to judge this place after I’ve been to some of the finest Mexican restaurants in the Philadelphia area. It’s hard to compare this place to them but overall it was a good experience and I’d go back for a future lunch.

Just started working around the corner, and this place caught my eye immediately. I went in and got a chicken burrito with honey ginger sriracha and a ton of other stuff. The burrito is huge, with the freshest ingredients I’ve ever had on a burrito. I go to Chipotle and Pancheros often, and these guys blow them out of the water, including their prices.
The guys who run the place are extremely friendly and personable, which makes all the difference in my opinion. This shop is an amazing find, and everyone should try them out! My only regret is getting my burrito for take out, because I had to drive 25 torturous minutes smelling this amazing burrito before I could eat it. I will definitely be returning.

Nice local place. Very friendly owners. I would have given 5 stars but I was disappointed with the fact that they did not have hard shell tacos. As a place that specials in burritos and has few things on the menu, I would want everything to be homemade. I would visit again.

It was ok. I had the vegetarian burrito. The rice was bland as was the queso. I ordered a side of sour cream and guacamole which is an extra charge and they forgot to give it to me I didn’t realize this until I got home was running short on time so I couldn’t go back to get them. That was a little disappointing.

Excited for this cute new place in pitman. Super friendly owners. I had a build your own burrito. Huge, with fresh ingredients and good chips too! A good experience over all. I’ll definitely be back

Pretty decent takeout for tacos, burritos, the basics. The honey sriracha chicken was really tasty. The steak burrito was packed — and they’re very careful to get your order just right, which matters when you are customizing a 10-​ingredient burrito. Guac was excellent and salsa was fresh tasting. Heat level was spot on. I would have liked less rice in the burrito– it makes things more bland and the burrito was big enough– they don’t need to add all that filler. More chips would be an inexpensive way to keep customers happy. One order got about a handful, but it seems nitpicky to ask for more free stuff.
Just a note though, like a lot of places in Pitman, it’s tiny. There are only 3 tables — think about that — 3 tables. And if you decide to eat in, you will have a line forming right next to you and the door right next to your table which will be terrible as things get colder. Hopefully, they’ll grow (and they should — the food is really good) and be able to expand into a proper dining room. But for now, plan for takeout. Bonus points for Mexican sodas and bag snacks.

I’ve been there twice so far and both times the food was great. The staff was super friendly and gave me honest advice about which ingredients worked better together. I will definitely be going back.

Great New Mexican restaurant in Pitman. I had chicken tacos which were excellent. Very fresh ingredients. Loved the taste of their salsa. You can eat in or take out. You can bring your own bottle (beer but no hard liquor. I took picture of their menu

This place is great and definitely worth checking out. Two weeks after their opening I got a steak burrito. First off, the people are some of the nicest around. The atmosphere from colors, ambiance, music and more made it a fun place to be. And did I say the people are GREAT? They are.
As for the burrito, it was good. Lots of things going on – bell peppers, onions, cheese, meat, beans, rice, salsa, etc. Overall it was good, but nothing really stood out. The steak should have a little more flavor, I think, and the tortilla was cold and pretty average. If those two were improved, I think it would be ⁵⁄₅! The chips on the side were for sure a nice addition. Still, overall a great place, and I can’t wait to try their tacos and quesadillas! ⁴⁄₅ for sure. Check it out!

Food is amazing, great atmosphere and wonderful, genuine people. Support a great local business and enjoy some delicious burritos, yummy tacos and super tasty quesadillas! The salsa is so fresh and such amazing flavor! A must try!
