The way that the main manager explains everything and writes the contract is deceiving. I knew that they ran things differently than rent a center, however i never knew it was this bad. They build these contracts which allow them to combine all items you get. Lets say a bedroom set. You have your bookcase, T. V center piece, Diner Table, Chairs to Diner table, and Lamps. Well each items will be in the contract and after 90 days its time for the rental cost. so you make your payments half goes to the actual items and half to rent. If you don’t tell them to separate the items they combine it so if later down the line your like well i could have just paid for the chairs because it was only 120, they say no its in one contract you cant just pay for individual items now. I asked to pay out for some items which i paid 400 and i could of had cheaper payments the main manager said no there isn’t anything he can do because i combined the items and sighed the contract. When all actuality he wrote the slip that way. It is sneaky and sleazy. Just stay with Rent a Center your better off and they are trained in customer service way better than Aaron’s. I talked the Regional Jason Cook he just said sorry made some sarcastic jokes and really didn’t offer any in sight. This will be the last time i ever do anything with Aaron’s. I could have paid of my set a long time ago however they tricked me, all they say is well you should of told us you wanted it to be in separate contracts. I’m sure if i did they would have said they cant do that. It’s sad what they do. MANAGER’S, REGIONAL’S just don’t care about customers just the bottom line of them making money. There is a good honest way to make money however Aaron’s doesn’t care about that.

The worst experience ever! They have no customer service at all then when you complain and ask what is taking so long for delivery they blacklist you and tell you they have the right to refuse service. I recorded all calls when dealing with this shop in Pittsburg even the fm was rude and sided with the store manager! It’s sad they would have had a great customer!

Aarons is a rent-to-own like Rent-a-Center except they wont rip you off as much as Rent-a-Center will. I purchased a 60 inch flat screen from them in August of 2011. I knew I would be paying more because of the leasing fee but I had researched buying a tv for a long time and knew I could afford it. They also report to the credit bureau so it was going to help me credit. The buying process went very smooth. They wanted a first months payment up front or in cash the day the item was delivered. I decided to pay it right there. For the 60 inch plasma and a really nice tv stand, I was paying $ 135 a month. Totally doable for me. Every payment I made has been early and because of this(and one other financing thing) my credit has gone from the low 500’s to a little over 600. Its almost bitter sweet to have the tv paid off(just paid last payment today!). They have been wonderful both in person and over the phone. If you have a bad experience it means you werent paying attention to the contract or your not paying your bill on time, period. Because of Aarons, I was able to get my husband something really nice and expensive that I normally would not have been able to and my credit is now considered«normal.» Thank you Aarons! We will be back in the future to make another purchase.
