Just got my wife’s 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Edition with the diesel here to Joe’s, he was just walking to open up the shop and took it early! Great guy, great service. If you need a smog check, if recommend Joe’s. I don’t see a real need for an appointment, but call and make one just in case…

Went here to get my van a smog check. No one is here at noon. Joe did my smog check in 15 mins. No problem van pass. Only $ 40. Will come again.

I’ve had 3 of my work trucks smogged here in the past 6 months and everything goes smoothly! Joe also took care of my moms Acura TL and my Jeep Wrangler. There’s usually not a wait. And it’s a chill shop with plenty of seats available if you do have to wait. I’m glad I’ve done business here in 2015!

Happy to find no line, immediately started my test. Fussed around the car for 10 minutes, then informed me my car failed test because it apparently had a problem, wouldn’t communicate with his test equipment. Informed me he would discount a retest after repairs. Did talk to a couple of repair shops, phone quotes from $ 750.00 to over $ 1000.00. So with nothing to loose took the car to another test shop. Passed 1st time. Asked the tech if he had any problems with the test, «No?», he was surprised at the question. Apparently Joe, either doesn’t know what he’s doing, a complete rip off, or his equipment is out of date.

Joe’s smog shop is exactly what it says it is… a smog shop. This is a no frills shop, so if you want a nice waiting room with a/​c on, this isn’t for you. But if you want a cheap smog, you’re in the right place!
It’s basically an empty warehouse space with the first 20 – 30 feet being used, and the rest is empty. However, this one man operation is really great. Walk in, sit down in the shop area with the chairs, and you watch him work.
When we arrived, there were two cars ahead of us. One of the cars was for the county auction, so if they use them he’s gotta be good, right? Well he was, as he did the two cars ahead of us and then did our car in about 20 – 25 minutes.
We came here because I found a craigslist ad, where it said the test was $ 35 out the door. When I mentioned the ad, there was no fuss, and he honored it immediately.

this place is a joke he tells my husband ya pay the $ 41.95 and it will only cost you $ 10 to re test is if doesn’t pass so he hooks the car up does the test and 5 mins later he tell him well it didn’t pass you need to drive it more so then he says well when you bring it back your gonna have pay the 41.95 again!!! WAIT ?? didn’t you say it was only $ 10 if it didn’t pass to re test ??? that’s why I always take all our cars to Concord, shady as f**k out here this place needs to get right with there prices and advertising its ridiculous

Fast and friendly… Joe had me in and out. Went on a thursday afternoon and he had no line. If you look in the pennysavers, he has a coupon. Highly recommend.
There is no décor to speak of… empty warehouse space, but I guess you don’t need much for this line of work.

The service was excellent and quick. Our car failed smog for MIL Check Engine Light problem and Joe’s was great offering free retest. The coupon in Penny Savers was accepted and free retest was done without us asking or haggling about price. Total cost was $ 26.75 + $ 3 +$ 8.25. Would highly recommend!

Gggrrrr!!! Got a coupon for $ 23.95 smog and free retest. They forgot to tell u that add on fees are 8.25-certificate +3-​ETF+ 10-​evap test= $$ 45! Then my car failed smog and they wanted me to pay extra $ 21.25 on the next retest! I had to argue with Joe and he dropped it down to $ 11.25! What part of FREE RETEST doesn’t he get! GGGGrrrrr!!!
