Pacita Aducayen, MD

I am a veteran and i was being seen by Dr. Scott Carter at the VA in Martinez for seven years. Having Dr. Carter as my PCP for such a long time was such a blessing, until they assigned mo to another VA doctor eary this year. I thought my new VA doctor seems to be very busy so I have no choice but to look for an outside provider so I went to see our family doctor, Dr. Pacita Aducayen. Indeed, she is very professional, down to earth, and very caring. She gave me tips and advice on proper nutrition and healthy living. She is also very thorough and identifies the real medical issues after all the test results came back. She recently referred me to a well known spine specialist, Dr. David Chao. I still have to see Dr. Chao before I can make an evaluation of his service and professional expertise. But I would refer Dr. Aducayen to anyone whos looking for a good primary care provider or family doctor.

Dr. Aducayen is a smart doctor. I’ll find out soon if her diagnosis is correct. I can’t say the same about her staff though. My prescription was sent incorrectly which delayed receiving the medicine I need. I had to beg her staff to give me the medicine I need and I finally got them to send it to Target Pharmacy instead of WalMart Pharmacy. Four (4) DAYS later I get a call from WalMart Suisun City they have my anti-​biotic dispensed on September 15! I have a follow up with Dr. Aducayen but I’m concerned her staff will continue with their incompetent service. They need to be reported to my health insurance provider.

Her staff is horrible Penny is the worst person I have ever encountered in a doctors office or medical facility she is rude and cold and really makes you dread having calling the office for any reason as for Dr. Aducayen she seems to busy to care about her patients and is just a doctor that gives you pills and pan killers instead of finding out what is really going on. I now only use her to refer me to specialist since she can’t be bothered with anything else but writing a prescription.

Dr Aducayen is one of the most caring, compassionate doctors I have ever come across. She was my grandmothers pcp for years. She was always caring & honest, she took the time to explain things to my grandmother & I. She was always available to speak with if I had any questions, concerns, or prescriptions. She was also very quick with getting us the things we needed. She even took time out of her lunch to call me & ask about how my grandmother was doing & if she needed anything, even offering advice. I was so pleased with her care that she is now my doctor. The world needs more doctors like her :)
